  1. What the hell "bonus" clip for next week was that? It was just 15 seconds earlier into the clip they showed at the end of this week's ep. Cheaters!
  2. That coffee ground speech was some lameass faux badass schtick there for Paula.
  3. Carol's all like - damn, Rick, did you have to shoot him right in my face.
  4. She must have conveniently needed a potty break.
  5. Damn, Maggie, bloodying up the lens and everything!
  6. I have a feeling that Alicia Witt is the surprise cast member on Talking Dead. Which wouldn't really be that much of a surprise.
  7. Has Alicia Witt's voice always been so annoying? She sounds like she has a sinus infeciton.
  8. I don't know what Carol is doing but I like that Maggie has no idea what she's doing.
  9. I don't know what's going to happen, but I don't think Carol will be the hero or at least not the hero. Shit, now she's hyperventilating.
  10. Just saw an article in which Nicotero confirmed that Morgan was making a jail cell. So who do you think will end up in the jail by season's end? Morgan himself? Negan?
  11. I can't easily get a screenshot, but you're right, Nashville. At about 10:45 on the video counter, she opens to the page that shows: R K, D L Terminus/ courtyard 3? CandleWoman 4 She then writes: Ws 7 18 (and circles it) ************************************* For the numbers to work "CandleWoman 4" really means Mary + 3 others in that offensive, I guess. "CandleWoman" is an odd shorthand for 4 people, but clearly Carol's stress-induced accounting may involve shorthand we might not use.
  12. More and more, I think an actor's announced appearance probably means that they're alive, but if Hardwick pops up in a promo with 5 minutes of TWD remaining, talking about a "special guest you won't want to miss," somebody unannounced is headed to the ZA afterlife.
  13. That's a great read on that scene. I thought the scene with Gabriel was perfect - very much in character - and with his first human kill being of someone with a gun who posed a threat to him and Alexandria (as opposed to Gabriel joining in the offensive). The change in his character was gradual and Seth Gilliam sold it well. Interesting that the Savior prattled on in a way similar to the Wolves. That says a lot about ZA psychopathology.
  14. And now, given how much she was featured last night and obviously will be a focal character next week, I am officially nervous for Carol.
  15. Plus Terminus was in Georgia. Seems unlikely that another group would have taken the same long path as CDB.
  16. Possible but not directly addressed. All we've seen or heard so far about them is what we've been shown and what the Hilltoppers have said.
  17. I'm pretty sure someone - maybe Yvette - mentioned that guests typically get the episode a few days early.
  18. The Carol-Tobin scene stood out even more than just on account of it being her first kiss -- it was the only scene, as I recall, where she had dialogue but where she wasn't in conflict-- she argued with Maggie, Morgan, and Rosita and there was an edge in her insistence to Rick about Maggie. Mom to Alexandria but out of step with her group. Things are not looking good for Carol.
  19. I found myself a bit unnerved by how much Edith and Bertie's mom resembled each other. I know Edith spent time in Switzerland and now I wonder if she had a stop in Vienna during her travels. A certain Dr. Freud might have provided illuminating ideas.
  20. Anna and Bates was such big story through out the show, but they - especially he seemed so shoehorned in. Makes me wonder how many scenes or lines had to be changed due to Brendan Coyle showing up to the set too hungover to film as scheduled (according to The Mirror). The birth scene seemed to have them interact as little as possible
  21. I don't know, but my guess is a jail so that they might cage bad people rather than kill them.
