I just chalked it up to them doing their usual easter eggs. Especially with bringing in Roy so early in the series, I wasn't expecting it.

I always thought it could be a possibility that she could suit up, didn't know that they had it planned from the beginning.

It annoys the hell out of me to think how they managed to butcher Count Vertigo twice in this show by trying to make him a knock off Scarecrow and be "realistic". The real deal would make for a good season long big bad. Along with Brother Blood who would've made a perfectly creepy big time villain. A guy who runs a cult? Slightly supernatural? Gold mine.

Ah Ravager, such a waste of a good villain, and costume.

I think The Flash will continue to get a good amount of press, just wait until the actual movie comes out and all the comparisons it will get in the media. Which brings me to: DC REALLY should cross promote their shows with their movies. Put trailers for the tv shows in theaters when the movies come out.

Of course it is all Malcolms fault in the end, but Quentin doesn't deal with him and hasn't seen him season 1.

Ra's and Slade targeted Starling because of Oliver. Especially as far as Ra's is concerned if he had just given Nyssa, Malcolm, Ra's/Oliver never would've met and Ra's wouldn't fall head over heels for him and want him all to himself.

Actors don't decide which stunts they can do, they can push to try to do them but they are easily turned down. And wow 1 episode out of 23 thus far.

They will probably have her stunt double do the jumping then do a close shot with Katie then a wide shot with the stunt double and end with a close up of Katie. But it is also probably a mixture of cgi since they wouldn't actually be shooting the Arrow zipline.

Then I hope we don't get many action previews with half the cast since we've seen all of their stunt doubles before.

So if we get any previews with Thea, it should be her stunt double as well?

I wouldn't mind considering he left with both of them being newbies to the game so seeing how far they've come would make NuOliver happy.

Slade and Ra's both targeted Starling because of Oliver. The writers are trying to use the Batman thing where he basically helped give birth to all of these villains by suiting up.

What did you think she was going to do? It seems like they aren't where the bad guys are or are forced apart from Diggle/Speedy so this is how she gets back to the main fight helping Diggle.

I'm glad that we are going to see Laurel/Thea interact outside of their costumese instead of just being told about it. I'm guessing they are re-purposing the apartment her apartment from when they redid it for the China storyline last season. How many times can Laurel/Olivers friendship hit a roughpatch before having to be patched up? The two really shouldn't have any drama this season and just be moving in the right direction. But I am glad they are moving into a lighter space with the two of them, Laurel needs more lighter/funnier moments to outweigh all the dramatic stuff they give her.

I thought the Fern was the moral center.

Oliver disappearing into the night isn't a hero moment? Digg saving Oliver wasn't heroic? Or maybe she is smiling because she knows the van is coming?

For sure. The writers are trying to have their cake and eat it to. They should've shown TA winning some battles before The Ghosts popped up. I'm trying to figure out what is going on in this scene, if I didn't know any better I would think it was Flash taking out the minion, but I'm guessing someone is swinging something?

Oliver spent 3 years being top dog and expecting people to follow his orders, now it is more of a democracy. But Diggle/Quentin were the only ones who were really disrespectful to him. He can't expect after the end of last season to drive off into the sunset and people be fine with him when they never got to work out their issues.

How is it just related to Laurel though? In the premier we had Diggle appear out of nowhere in the van with GA/DD, we have DD just mysteriously disappear after being shot, we had Diggle be affected in no way when he tells Laurel to blow the van in the beginning of the episode. Last season we have Oliver shooting off into the night, him just leaving Roy unconscious after their meta battle. It has nothing to do with just Laurel with them trying to make her look badass.

It looks like it is still to me when she finally settles on it. But I guess powers must be the theme of the season with Diggle going from driving the van to magically appearing in the van and DD getting shot then totally disappearing. Should be a fun action season. He's chained up right? I'm guessing Diggle will get to him in time again. Though DD seems like a guy who likes to play with his food before he offs them.

I really wish they would give her some silver tonfas or something to help offset all of her black.
