That's something about a series that just goes from beginning to end or does half the season, then two months off and then straight through to the end. Makes the season just fly by instead of drag. Of course we know that Stargirl is coming back for another season, but I don't see until like January before they can film again and probably just have it be a summer show if things go well and COVID doesn't keep things at bay.

Right same with the Uranus or Dragon Fire jokes, I just mute the TV, I'm so tired of hearing it over and over and over again. I get this show is filmed over two days from 5 AM until noon. However, I think they need to realize to the audience with: "Ok, people really get tired of the repative crap, maybe we need to just do one or two jokes and be done."

The show likes it when they fall and falter. That guy was like: "I got this." Of course, at this point, the dragon and Uranus jokes need to be used like ONCE every season.

To Tell The Truth - General Discussion

If you also notice when they revealed all of them, you saw a look on Michael's face that was: "Oh yes, I remember these guys." -
Right and if you add in that, most likely it cost somewhere close to probably $60K in that three years if you want to throw in everything. Meaning, Lorelai could have AT LEAST kept close to $10K instead of just giving all the money to Emily.

Grey's Anatomy in the Media: Incident Reporting

Also filling the TV troupe that "marriage means characters no longer are interesting." -
Right and the fact that Anya talked about what Issac's father the original Fiddler did proved that she is just as bad as the Crocks. She might kill various coaches who don't give their child fair game. However, she was giving permission to tell her kid to severally damage the kids bullying him. Even more, most bullies stay FAR AWAY from bullying kids they know are administrator or staff children. They might talk under their breath about them, but being an educator and seeing things first hand where one of the principal's kids was a not liked by certain kids, they still kept it private. If you notice they really are setting up the Junior ISA with how the ISA's kids are acting or being treated. I see Isaac taking up his parents' fiddle in season 2, especially finding out that Anya was killed in the Dugan House.

Grey's Anatomy in the Media: Incident Reporting

Don't forget now the apparent secret lesbian Teddy is and named their daughter after her dead lover who died in 9/11. -
Plus, for Tigress I think she was also shocked she lost to Courtney. Same with Sportsmaster getting jumped by Mike with the drill. These two are very: "We are better than anyone else." Yet, are ill prepared when someone fights dirty or in the Paula's case, didn't think that Courtney might have "learned" from their last encounter. I mean even Yolanda gave Tigress a good fight in their first encounter. That of course has always been the Crocks' problem, they think they are better than everyone else (plus they are pretty damn good), but don't think about A)They aren't as young as they use to be B) their opponents learn from their previous battles and they don't.

I agree, the difference with both Drew and Capshaw was the writers "got tired of them" and felt they couldn't do anything else with their stories and said: "Been great, good luck." Same with Rameriez, Dane and Leigh. Unlike way with: Dempsty, Knight, Heigl, Ferre where they were just downright pissed off at the actors for what they were doing off and on the set. However, they keep TRYING to use characters that have NO STORY left with McKidd, Williams, Raver or the DeLuca Clan. Yet basically just throw stupid story after stupid story to their WORST character traits that viewers and critics hate. Yet keep going: "But it's such AMAZING story telling." Oh just stop. -
Or even how they want to put in the trouple of the husband: "I make more money than you." They did it on Home Improvement, Camp Wilder, Last Man Standing and even Step by Step.

I know, LAFF is still going strong with their airing.

Reason why the ISA isn't doing so hot, they are too divided unlike when they took out the original JSA a decade ago. Especially learning from Brainwave in the flashback. They killed Mary Pemelton so that Starman would be too conflicted with taking Brainwave out and apparently learning who they were as a result.

Outside of voice acting, I think Kevin McKidd wants to keep his job and his bills paid at this point. -
Exactly. Anna wasn't some 16 year old scared and frighten with her parents TELLING her to give the baby up or that the father was "no good". Anna wasn't bi-polar or something. We are also suppose to think Anna's mother who she threaten to move that exact same season because of her apparent health issues. Didn't at one point go: "He deserves to know!" It was just so half assed.

Yes, because as far as Brainwave knows, she is Slyvestor's daughter and Henry Sr telling Jordan who Pat really is, made him realize: "Oh great, I hated that sidekick and he has a son, he'll come after me if I let him live like Courtney."

Maybe he can also get it into her head to you know, "like what your boyfriend likes" and tell her she is on her way to 40, so stop thinking everyone thinks she is a baby and maybe STOP acting like one. -
Truth in that

Actually late 90s, but yeah. I do like the fact they are both working and have very good careers.

She also had a black belt as shown in the first episode with her moving, something also from the comics she had gymastics and kick boxing experience. Reason why she was able to hold her own against Sportsmaster's bat/bo attacks. While Larry might still be one of the world's top fighters, he isn't 17 anymore no matter how many runs and power squats and eating no sugar.

Sadly, medical dramas and even police dramas just like to skirt over that and just get going back to business like usual. They handled Carter's cousin ODing much more realistically than any of the cast being tramuatized with things. It actually started with Mark being beaten into an inch of his life. I still want to know why NO ONE used the bathrooms for a long period of time in a busy city hospital, or how Jerry didn't even notice anyone else was in the bathroom with him. Plus the fact they had patients and people just walking into break rooms and so forth without even questioning why they were there. I know locks became more common with hospitals after 9/11 but really, it was just plain glaring.

Dramas are notorious for that kind of stuff. I mean when Abby was kidnapped by the gang member. I mean we were told a month had passed and she was just coming back to work. Yet, no follow up or how everyone was: "Shit, we were really stupid and selfish people to think that Abby was just throwing a hissy fit." Never mind the fact that if some doctor or nurse ever did that, their ass be fired or put on suspension.

That's straight out of the comics, they are just worth more as a set than individual. Of course, something I always wanted to know was where Court's dead beat dad was raised. Because from both the show and the comics (both written by Johns) it seems his mother was a good woman who passed away just after Court was born. How he turned into such an asshole has never been explained.
