I doubt the MetroCourt is all that tall in the first place, maybe 12 or 15 floors? And since there are offices as well as hotel rooms, who knows how floors are numbered?

Kristina would blame Ava even if she (Kristina) hadn't seen the pictures. There's no way she would say it was an accident.

America's Test Kitchen - General Discussion

Ewww.... (Heh.) -
Avery has Mommy Carly—what does she need Ava for? /s All of the above. FV loves Ally Mills, which is why we're seeing Heather again. I really wish there were someone who could curb Frank's weakness for shoving actors he likes into the show regardless of if they fit. I think Josh Kelly is a decent hire, and Cody has some value, even if I hate that he's Mac's son. Cody isn't shoved down our throats, and JK/Cody has an easy charm. Heather is always dialed up to 11 even when she isn't caterwauling about being in pain, and this whole metal-poisoning story is bringing out the worst in a lot of people (hi, Portia!) for very little payoff. Do a lot of viewers think Heather got a raw deal and should be reformed? Say she does go free. What then? She has no place on the canvas except as one of the current bogeymen. Heather has done enough bad stuff throughout her life that I don't want to see her redeemed. Keep her in Pentonville and give her a shoutout every so often when Laura goes to visit her offscreen.

What a wasted opportunity. Of course Sonny et al will always win, but they did't even try with Wagger. Adam Harrington was a very good actor, unlike some of the others they brought in to face off against MB, so it's a double waste. TFGH.

America's Test Kitchen - General Discussion

He was SUCH a baby about any sort of heat. On Milk Street he's much better, which makes me wonder what happened... -
Can Heather and Ava go on the run together? Heather exhausts me even though she's not on that much, and Ava needs a break. Ugh, it's always annoying to see Michael pretend to be a businessman. He's such a lightweight. I hope he's completely DESTROYED when he finds out about Willow and Drew. (I know he'll be insufferable, but give me my schadenfreude!) Ugh, I know. And there's never an acknowledgement of any hypocrisy or the fact that a violent mob reprisal is WRONG. Shut up, Kristina. LOL that the MetroCourt elevator stalls. That's quite the 5-star hotel Carly and Olivia are running. Calling Spencer a "prankster" is an understatement, to say the least, Laura. Spencer committed ELECTION FRAUD. It's one thing to say you want someone dead when it's hypothetical, but Kristina knows Sonny has the means to actually murder Ava. Kristina gets no pass from me. Did I hear correctly, and McConkey is worried that Drew isn't doing enough to get the support of the school board for his candidacy? Drew is running for Congress, not some local PC position. Gag, Carly and Brennan flirt tomorrow.

One of the problems with a "who killed Ava Jerome" story is that she's become so isolated that who in Port Charles will care? Maybe Wagger, but nearly the entire town hates him too. Trina? She'll get condescending pats on the head for being naive about Ava's faults. Nina might have a few moments of sadness, but they'll be a few moments. I think it would be better for Ava to grab Avery and go on the lam for a few months. Wind up all of the loose ends of the Pikeman story—including revealing that it was Valentin who messed with Sonny's meds—and bring Ava back after that.

I don't think Donna needed to be grounded or whatever the age-appropriate alternative punishment might be, but she didn't even get a stern talking-to. She not only took someone else's meds, she "didn't want to share" them. No one seemed concerned that they were in her bag in the first place. How is Wagger's luggage being in Ava's suite relevant? The bag didn't push Kristina out the window. In fact, it doesn't matter what Kristina tripped over. Good for Trina for telling Portia to get a grip about Heather.
-
Best in-joke EVER.
-
I don't know why that was Kevin's responsibility in the first place. Probably because JL was already booked, heh.
-
Donna is at Carly's too, and if she's chugging Sonny's meds, I wouldn't say Avery is safe.
-
When Sonny's test results came back empty, so to speak, why didn't Kevin ask to see Sonny's meds? Seriously. Donna is definitely old enough to know what a prescription bottle looks like and read the label for the patient's name. (But LOL that "she didn't want to share." Donna is totally her parents' daughter.) Good grief. The pretzeling this show has to go through to make plot points is absurd, as usual. Shut up, Jordan. Your opinions don't matter here. Oh, god, more Heather. I don't want to see this on any level whatsoever.
-
It's all ammo for Donna to be raised by the army of Q nannies. ETA: Apparently I can't either!
-
I really don't understand why TJ has been written to be so hostile throughout this story.
-
I think this is it, because they had to sub in KM's stunt double right after that supposed grab.
-
It makes much more sense for Carly's daughter to be her mini me anyway. And that they didn't continue Lulu in that role when ER was cast makes me think someone in authority felt the same way, because that stopped. Thank goodness.
-
Ditto. I wouldn't be surprised if she told Chase to double-check the contents of the luggage just to be sure, heh. Sonny's use of religion is always very self-serving in the worst way, so it's just as well he decided the roof was a better place to be. Please, please, please let Morgan stay dead, dead, dead. I cannot take him coming back, especially if played by Bryan Craig.
-
That's not criminal, just stupid. Typical Ava to make things worse for herself. Regardless, it's covered by attorney-client privilege, so if Scott says anything about it to anyone else, he should be in big trouble in a number of ways.
-
I always have some sympathy for recasts, as it's hard to step into a character someone else created and make it your own. But ER's Lulu didn't seem like the daughter of Luke and Laura at all. Most of that was the writing, which is never the actor's fault, but I also think ER didn't have a handle on the essence of who Lulu is.
-
That cracked me up, and then when Carly says, "How come no one told me?" Jason says everyone was worried about getting Kristina to the hospital. Maybe everyone in the pool area, but whoever the day manager is needs to be fired. It's been hours since the accident. I wondered if Kristina's fertility might be affected by losing the baby. Brick was obviously working hard for Sonny, getting measured by his tailor. Good grief. Zzzzz at Morgan talking Sonny off the ledge (literally and figuratively).

Somewhat satisfying to know other soap EPs are as misguided as FV is when it comes to casting a soap "name."
-
It's too expensive to get messed up in the fall? Hee. I think she would be; Ava always overcompensates when it comes to trying to get herself out of trouble. And under these particular circumstances, I don't really blame her for immediately calling Scott, not that he's going to be of any help.
-
Ugh, no. I never warmed to the character (obviously, heh), and I don't think shackling him to Robert instead of Luke does anyone any favors. Ethan should be a foundling.

I'm surprised there wasn't the standard PSA for the mental health hot line. It was pretty obvious Sonny wasn't only indulging in his usual woe-is-me self-pity party. If the windows are that fragile, the soundproofing must be terrible. Some luxury hotel!
