I am from the East Coast as a matter of fact, like Trump have lived most of my life in Queens and Manhattan. His "persona" is that of a douche, the vast majority of NYers loathe him. So that argument, I'm sorry, does not hold water. Bill considers himself to by a cynic, but fell for someone he's battled with and watched for many years being on good behavior.

Was I the only one who thought the actor playing Toby was awful? I couldn't even invest in hating the character because the performance was so terrible.

He already did. Check out the most recent season of AHS. I didn't realize it at the time and I was a young adult in NYC at the time this happened, with a lot of gay friends and somehow knew none of this.

I keep feeling like I'm missing large pieces of information while watching this. And I'm a major horror anthology enthusiast. The visuals are exactly what I'd expect from Guillermo del Toro, the acting is fine, but the story telling is "meh". I'll keep watching though.

I keep forgetting they're a real life couple because they have very little on screen chemistry. And overall it's the chemistry that makes this show. Almost all of the actors have great chemistry with one another. Except these two. Isn't it ironic, don't you think? I agree it was a tiny bit draggy, I didn't find it as tedious as others did but it could have been streamlined a bit. That the mindflayer was One's creation was my takeaway too.

Why oh why did they have to give Billy my date of birth? I'm finding Mike annoying this season but he is a teen so... I'm wondering if the symptoms (headaches, nosebleeds etc.) are the symptoms that attract Vecna of if the person gets them as a result of being targeted?
