  1. Isn't that the truth? They are in charge, after all it's their world, we merely live in it.
  2. Isn't it funny how they do that? Elizabeth rummages through her toy box, throwing everything all over the place until she finds the perfect toy for her mood.
  3. I think people are worried he'll be gone like Tristan and he will but in the third book All Things Wise and Wonderful, he is working on farm animals in various locations, looking back on Skeldale House, Helen and Darrowby. Sharing recollections just like he does in the other books. I could see how they could open each episode with him in some far flung village and he will see something that reminds him of a case he worked on or something he and Helen did and we will see the rest in flashback.
  4. And he's still a cat about town He never misses a gathering!
  5. Your work may have the site blocked? Mine would have been smart to. I spent way too much time on FARK when I was working. 😇
  6. There are two. The first one is just making fun of her but the second one with the title I quoted is the one you want.
  7. Hmm that's odd, I just went right to it. FARK.com right?
  8. It's on yesterday's tab. Title "Here's Joni Mitchell's first-ever Grammy performance in full." The link is in the comments.
  9. My husband and I were were both crying so hard. I almost let out a full throated sob before I got a grip on myself. There's one on FARK.com. Just go to the Entertainment tab. The link is in the comments.
  10. I will totally vouch for you but I'm telling everyone, there are parts of it that are just like here. Chit Chat. Pet Peeves and General discussion but there are other parts that are very political. Just so you know.
  11. That would be nice but I've just about had it with the way they treat the books as mere suggestions.
  12. I think it's a good thing and I think Goldwyn will fit right in. As much as I love Sam, he was visibly struggling. I felt bad for him.
  13. Poor James and Helen. Oscar turns out to be quite the cat about town but then his real owner comes forward. He belongs to a family with lots of kids who all adore him and they have to give him back. It just about killed both of the Herriots.
  14. Come over to the book discussion topic and I'll spill.
  15. Oh god, Elizabeth did the same thing to poor Nathan. We had to stand out there a police them until she'd had enough and got distracted by something else.
  16. It all depends on how my DH's mom's estate shakes out but yes, we will definitely be moving in the next two years. When, I have no idea.
  17. I asked one of the mods to PM me. Shouldn't take long.
  18. It depends on where you hang out. I'm in the movie and classic film subs, the florist, gardening and interior design subs. There are some really good people there.
  19. I'll vouch for you. Do you want to use the same user name?
  20. I liked this episode a lot better than the previous ones. It's so hard, having read the books and knowing how everything happened and not being able to talk about it though.
