  1. Well the concept changed a whole bunch from what we sold to what they wanted. It would have been a lot more interesting if they would have followed the storylines that we wanted to do instead of what the network demanded. We are in the process of creating our own webisodes that have nothing to do with the show but will follow our vision. The one thing you have to realize is that the people who run reality shows really have contempt for the people who are on them. No one illustrates that as clearly as Andy Cohen.
  2. We thought it was pretty cool but I guess America didn't agree. We did what we were supposed to do which was hold 75% of WNTW's audience but that wasn't good enough. We are doing great in Australia and Europe. I think we just hit the end of the make over show cycle as the mother ship "What Not to Wear" was also canceled.
  3. Heather has parents? I didn't know that Mister Geppetto was married.
  4. Oh. I thought that was common knowledge. My wife and I had a reality show called "Big Brooklyn Style" that aired on TLC. When TLC still was sort of "The Learning Channel" and not all about Honey Boo Boo, people that eat their couches and having sex that puts them in the hospital. I used to talk about it at TWOP all the time before Howard banned me for something or other that I still don't understand. I was tempted to speak to the discussion of Vicki's style but I want to respect Lisin's boundaries.
  5. I have to say I really like Shannon. She is extremely honest in her talking heads and is not afraid to admit when she is wrong. Something you almost never see in Real Housewives Land. I was on my own reality show and you should know that talking heads are scripted. Except if you refuse to read the lines they right for you. I did that so I had very few lines. Occasionally I had to read lines that were exposition and even then I changed them into my own words which drove them crazy. Some of the guys on the crew worked both NYC and Jersey and said it was basically the same deal. You can tell who is just reading the script and who was more or less speaking from the heart. I think Tamra, Heather and Lizzie are just parroting words planted by the TPTB. Shannon is doing some exposition but some of it seems pretty heartfelt. Believe it or not I think Vickie and Brianna are both bringing the honesty this season in a refreshing change. I could be wrong but that is how it seem to me.
  6. Really? I would have went with "Not a Leg to Stand On." Or "Are you Pulling My Leg...Because if you are I am going to throw it at you Bitches! Holla!"
  7. I have to admit that I shut this episode off right in the middle. That's a first for any Housewives show for me. It was just super boring. The wife and I both fell asleep right in the middle of it and we just shut if off. Not a good sign when we able to last through every minute of DC and Miami.
  8. Well I think that they will mock the Dubrow kids because their Mom is Cindy Lou Who.
  9. Heather has to know she has trashed her brand by her behavior the past few weeks. She will most likely survive and thrive like Brandi Glanville and Shannon will go the way of one and done Joyce. It doesn't matter if you are in the right on these shows. You just have to bring the drama like Tamra and you can survive any amount of despicable behavior.
  10. I thought that he said some members of the family were hygienic. I mean the guy exaggerates but lets give him that one.
  11. You know I think Heather is the type to send one of her kids to a shelter if they misbehave and trade them in for a better breed. Watch out Cocoa Bean!
  12. Thank you for that great information about breed specific rescue organizations. My next door neighbor belonged to a Staffordshire Terrier organization and adopted a couple of dogs that belonged to someone who had died in 911. They both belonged to a organization devoted to the breed and my neighbor was contacted to adopt them. They were two wonderful dogs. It was quite a sight to see him walking three of these huge dogs through the streets of Brooklyn. His own puppy and the two rescues.
  13. It seems clear that Heather is a reptile kind of girl.
  14. On a reality show like this if you get on the producers bad side you really get the bad edit. You can see that over and over again. They just hang you out to dry. Josh certainly gives them enough ammunition. He seem to be one of the most unpleasant husbands across the whole franchise. Verging on Slade territory. Nobody wants to be there.
  15. You got to love Luann calling the Moaner a cow! We need more of that.
  16. I think Reid of NYC would not cheat on Aviva even thought everyone thinks she is so horrible. That seems to be a the core of the resentment that some of them have toward him. Plus Heather's husband wouldn't cheat on her unless she told him to it.
  17. They must really dislike Heather because they are really sticking it to her this year. The juxtaposition of Shannon feeding her family and Heather saying she doesn't cook and hiring a chef is kind of telling don't you think.
  18. "Catatonic husbands in modern yellow-papered living rooms." Carole sure is a peach. What did he ever do to her?
  19. That is a precipitous drop in sales in one year. I wonder how Jason planned that?
  20. Jason should just concentrate on being a good father. The rest will take care of itself.
  21. I don't think that is strictly true. I just saw an episode called "The Last Viking" where Hoss's Uncle made a visit. He was the head of a group of Comanchero's and ended up saving Little Joe and his date of the moment while getting killed in the attempt. The uncle was played by the great character actor Neville Brand who you might remember as playing Al Capone in the original Untouchables TV movie.
  22. It is kind of hard to believe. The only thing we can be sure that is dated is her look.
