  1. I knew this would happen eventually. When you grift and put your well-being in the hands of others, you're playing with fire. With everything going on now with the economy, inflation, upcoming election etc., people have to make decisions that best support their own bottom lines. Erin's landlord has bills to pay too, and he probably can't afford to give them cut-rate rent for the sake of Godliness and helping out sweet church friends. My guess is they won't find another property in Florida. It's too expensive and Erin and Chad aren't ideal tenants. The only employed spouse does sporadic handyman work, and comes with six kids and a menagerie of farm animals. I imagine any place willing to give them a chance would charge such an outrageous cleaning and security deposit that the Paines couldn't afford it if they robbed a bank. I agree Bill and Jane's is the best bet. I think Chad has too much pride to go crawling back to Tennessee.
  2. No retaining wall at the far end?! That pool is going to be a mucky mess with the amount of runoff that's going to flow down from that slope. I wonder if the builder advised them to put one in and E&C declined? They don't seem to be making wise decisions with this backyard.
  3. She was working as a stylist when she got married, so my guess is 18/19?
  4. The Redditer figured out Alyssa sold 66 out of the 600 hats, but I wonder how many orders that translated to? If people were purchasing say, an adult and a couple of kids hats per transaction, the numbers could be even more dismal.
  5. No, it's one style of hat, available in three sizes.
  6. I think Carlin said 14x20.
  7. I just saw that on Instagram, lol. I honestly feel bad for Alyssa at this point. UnCheerfullyU is only a week old and she already needs to have a sale? Her latest post with Rhett only has 96 likes and no comments, despite being up for four hours. I don't know if she fell into the trap of thinking her following was more loyal or what, but this was a really bad idea from jump. She might as well donate the hats to Goodwill and write off the loss.
  8. Oh my gosh, I can't unsee it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Pretty much. At least the putting green should get plenty of use, it's not like Evan has a job to report to.
  9. That backyard is absolutely hideous and the pool is too small for a slide. If you look at how far the tanning ledge extends out, there's barely any room to swim. I also love the clip of Layla and Zade playing with the water spout. Great feature to have that draws small children right to the edge of the pool! Safety first! Also, not sure if any of you are on Reddit, but it was recently discovered Josie and Kelton purchased five acres of land for 284k. Should we start the countdown for Carlin whining that she needs more space?
  10. Knowing Carlin, it's clickbait. She needs engagement, so she posts something cryptic so her fans can ask if she's okay. She's living it up in Vegas right now, whatever happened couldn't have been too upsetting.
  11. With regards to the Disney trip, I'm sure the Pastor is taking in a hefty salary and probably has his wife on the payroll too. I don't doubt they can afford it. Carlin and Evan are likely living off credit cards, loans and spending every penny that comes in. I watched the Netflix documentary about YouTuber/boxer Jake Paul. His dad remarked that when Jake started pulling in serious money he was never more than a month away from being bankrupt. He was making millions, but spending like crazy. I imagine the Stews are similar, albeit on a lesser scale. Carlin once said she let Evan take care of the finances because he was the more responsible one, but she may be in for quite a shock. Evan is the one who went crazy with the add-ons in the backyard. First they were going to do a standard pool with tanning ledge. Then came the cement loungers. Followed by the sprinklers. Followed by the slide. Then they needed a putting green. No wait, they can't just have a little area, they needed a bunker as well, not to mention the hot tub. Evan is blowing Layla's money like it grows on trees.
  12. Both ladies look beautiful, I love Jana's dress.
  13. The worst was the comment section, telling her she should invest in all this fancy printing and labeling equipment. Um, I don't think she's going to need any of that. The business isn't going to last long.
  14. Oh, boy. This is not going to end well. Full disclosure for what I'm about to say, I'm NOT implying Lawson is dangerous or violent, but I watched a Dateline episode where a husband killed his wife for money. She was a wealthy doctor, he was a grifter who was a decade younger. They had a daughter and one theme the wife's family and friends noticed was that he was extremely possessive over the baby, and not in an "aww, Daddy loves his little princess" kind of way. He refused to let anyone hold or feed her. He wouldn't let the grandparents babysit. The wife would come home from work and want to spend time with her daughter and the husband would let her play with her for thirty seconds and then snatch her away. It was like he was trying to ice her out so he could be the main character in the little girl's life. I've noticed that since William was born, their social media has been all Lawson. Tiffany gushing over what an amazing dad he is, but not one comment from Lawson calling her an amazing mother. Sadly, I think Tiffany is in for a huge letdown. Even if she's not in an extreme situation like the story I just mentioned, she's still married to an attention seeking narcissist. They're all about the shiny new toy and once the thrill wears off they quickly lose interest. She's going to be doing all the work while Lawson preens for Instagram.
  15. I agree. The lack of engagement on her socials is proof positive there's no market for this. I think Alyssa saw her sisters' success and figured she could toss anything on the market and make bank too, but she failed to follow their model. As much as I can't stand the child exploitation, both Josie and Carlin have carefully curated brands. They've spent years building them, and the products they sell have a purpose and appeal to women. Granted they're overpriced, but more Christian moms need a church dress than they do a trucker hat. Josie's failure with the jewelry line showed why it's so important to stay in your lane. Since then she course corrected and put out the curlers and hairbrush. Alyssa's strength is organizing and planning. Like others have said, she would've been better off partnering with an established company and selling those types of materials. Leaning into her Type A personality would've worked because it would've been authentic. Watching her try to adopt this bubbly, sorority girl persona is just so cringe.
  16. Probably not. For some reason, I thought they'd been living there much longer.
  17. Is it possible they borrowed against the house to build the pool and backyard?
  18. It looks like Alyssa's hat business is off to a less than rousing start. She's doing a giveaway where people can enter by commenting on her latest post and tagging a friend. The prizes are a mish-mash of junky crap she received for free from various p.r. boxes. A lot of it is stuff young girls would love, but of course Mommy Dearest won't give it to her daughters. Anyways as of today, a whopping 256 people out of her 339,000 followers have entered. I also noticed there's a lot of comments like Cute! So excited for you! Congrats!, but nobody is saying they ordered. I'm sure Alyssa will get a few sales from her die-hards, but this seems like a worse idea than Jeremy and Jinger Vuolos' short-lived candle venture.
  19. Evan sounds really unprofessional. The OP acknowledged he was probably shooting b-roll for their social media, but still, he should've informed the models beforehand. She said he didn't say one word to any of them and only spoke to Carlin. I definitely agree Josie is hanging with Carlin more for the sake of the kids, but i wonder how long that will last. Judging by their most recent vlog, Layla is getting brattier and more entitled by the second. I also noticed neither Carlin nor Katie were invited to Josie's birthday dinner, although Lydia was there.
  20. Man, the tea is coming in piping hot these last few days. Someone who modeled for BSB did an AMA on the subReddit. Mods verified her identity. Some of the tidbits confirmed what we already suspected: Whit and Carlin don't run anything. Their manager does all the work, and they show up for the fun stuff. OP suspects the manager has some sort of hero worship of the Bates which is why she's willing to put up with it. Evan creeped her out. He was following all the models around with a video camera, which made OP uncomfortable. The shoot was a disorganized mess. None of the clothes were prepped and steamed ahead of time. Models had to do their own hair and makeup, and were paid $50 for a couple hours work. OP joked her impression of BSB was that it's a front for the Bates to get cheap wholesale clothes. She went to the Big House years back for a post-church lunch. Said the furniture was really tattered and poor Lawson had to pay for all the food. Josie and Whit were the nicest (that threw me for a loop). Carlin is totally different when she's vlogging versus when the camera is off. OP referred to it as wearing a mask. Major bummer: she has no clue why Erin left the Boutique.
  21. It's way too classy and tastefully done. If it doesn't scream "new money," Evan and Carlin don't want it. Cereality, it wouldn't surprise me if half the weekly collection plate was going right into Wifey's purse. You'd think a mega church would have more checks and balances, but they seem to be the ones frequently caught up in financial scandal. It also wouldn't surprise me if the Clarks are operating a big money laundering scam as well. I know plenty of people do dumb shit in their past, but to me there's a big difference between a teen swiping clothes out of Dillards and getting caught, and a grown woman methodically defrauding both the government and the tax payers. And I agree, it's amazing the amount of bad behavior congregants will dismiss. I also don't doubt the Bates and their ilk are no different. I mean, Carlin and Whit are totally declaring all the income they make off those cash and carries, amirite? 😜
  22. Another juicy nugget of information: Carlin's new BFF, the Pastor's Wife? Someone on Reddit discovered she has a criminal past! Apparently she stole just under 5k in 2008 when she was a part time employee at the Anderson County tax office. There were several instances when residents paid their property taxes in cash. She pocketed the money and didn't record the transactions. She pled guilty and received two years probation in addition to restitution and fines. The article linked didn't have a picture, but the full name, age at the time and location all match. I wonder how much she and Creepy Pastor are currently skimming off the top? Leopards don't change their spots. I hope Evan and Carlin tread with caution.
  23. Alyssa and John have launched a merch business, "CheerfullyU" with the goal of, get this, creating happiness "one product at a time." Translation: selling you dropshipped AliExpress junk one sucker at a time. So far the offerings are one trucker hat available in three sizes for $26-$35. Yes, $30 for a flimsy hat with a brand logo nobody knows or cares about. Who told them this was a good idea? Her launch post only has 74 comments, many of them snarky ones she hasn't had a chance to delete. The only Bates who commented were Kelly, Michael and (of course) Tiffany. I'm sure the others will follow suit once Kelly gets on their cases. It's so laughably bad I feel sorry for her. This makes Erin's sad prayer card business look like Amazon.
  24. Maybe it'll look nicer when it's finished, but that's a hideous setup. Their backyard is nicely sized but they don't have sprawling acreage where the putting green and pool fit into the landscape organically. I also hope they're prepared for the fact that turf gets extremely hot when baking in the summer sun. This backyard has to be costing them 150k. They better plan on staying in that house forever because they're going to lose their shirts if they sell.
  25. William Daniel, blink twice if you need us to save you! It didn't take long for Lawson's narcissism to kick in. William is going to be for Lawson what Layla is to Carlin. A prop to keep the grift going.
