Didn't think he was THAT old, I remember him joining the Northwestern crew & he seemed like a snot nosed kid so I guess he really does need to pick up the pace in maturing or at least being able to hold his temper. Jake just needs to mature which he will eventually but I can see why he lost his temper, more at himself for going against his own better judgement than anyone else. As for Linda while it is good to have some new blood I'm not sure she is likeable after watching the show about her straight after the deadliest catch episode, I got the impression that because she had some quota she thought that she could just walk onto any boat as a co-captain & she also didn't seem very humble for someone entering a new fishery with established captains. As for her quota, she did say she had to buy it & maybe it was offered to her first because she's such a big shot and knows the right people.

As for the the scanning of the boarding pass If I remember right from the last time I traveled internationally (2019) they do scan your boarding pass but usually only to check that you're traveling out of the country but that may depend on the airport as I flew from Heathrow and some terminals only have international flights, especially big British airports.

Aren't they all creeps by definition? People don't seem to know or care if they are or cults wouldn't be a thing. Just take a look at the way the Catholic church has covered up abuses, a cult that has managed to fool a lot of the world.

The discussions with their family I agree with but people 100% still ask a grown woman's father for her hand in marriage, some just like the tradition while some see it as a sign of respect and I doubt many wouldn't get married if the answer was no but people still do it.

In fairness it isn't a cashiers job (even in duty free) to know the import law in every country, in fact it's probably impossible for just about anyone to know the law in every country & as I keep hearing ignorance of the law is no excuse, declared or not.

The school decides which books are in the library & it is the PARENT who should be able to make the decision on what is & isn't acceptable for their child to then read and that is what Whoopie for all her faults is trying to say, just like it has been for years & years.
