Oh My: I am crying at the end of today's show, Paul Telfer(Xander) is just great in these emotional scenes, he & Chloe had such a moment when they said "I Love You" and then the final scene with Victor saying he is proud of Xander as a Kiriakis. All the Flashbacks were great, altho I was distracted by Lauren Koslow's changing face & the buttons on her jacket! I loved the Steve Flashbacks of him coming to Salem to work for Victor & what a 'bad" guy Victor was but Kayla reminded him that her Mother loved Victor & I have always been a Steve/Kayla fan so I loved their scenes together & so sweet when they kissed. I feel really Old because I remember those early days of watching "DOOL" & the romances & intrigue. :(

I thought Maggie & Justin did a good job with those emotional scenes today, and I liked having John there too. It was rather abrupt with the transition from those sad scenes to the ones of Leo/Gwennie/Dmitri...good grief, could Gwen be even more Dumb?! Gwen was never written before as dumb & clueless. Apparently, someone on the writing staff is a Madonna fan :) The scene with "Auntie Gabs" & Rachel playing a "Game" was making me laugh.

Gosh: Brady finally came to his senses! Going on the run was the worst possible decision he could make & John was making all the arguments why he should not do it. Stephanie/Chad/Alex: Blah. I did enjoy seeing Thomas & Charlotte, they are cute.

FYI: Kristen Welker has been promoted to Anchor of "Meet the Press"

I was laughing when Kayla said to Abe "We are all just characters in this crazy Soap Opera" ...True words!

I said that on the 1st episode...he looks just like Donny Osmond! And "Puppy Love", Las Vegas residency...all those point to Donny Slapping my head! Why would they think Elton John is from Utah?! Certainly the young folks know Elton's story(there was even a movie recently), even if they dont know who Donny Osmond is. I feel OLD...I remember Amy Carter as a young girl in the White House.

I thought Jill Martin was very brave coming on to talk about her Breast Cancer surgery & recovery, but why is she coming back right away to do her "Steals & Deals"?! Looks like she could take time to recover & I am sure someone else could do the selling of her "Stuff"!

Just read about a fun Charity event in Los Vegas(Karaoke, a Boot camp), and James Holzhaur was there, along with Amy Schneider, Mattea Roach, Sam Buttrey, Brad Rutter & others.

Well, today's show was all about Proposals & Babies! Sarah needs to listen to her Mother. Xander needs to listen to Chloe(and maybe Xander could straighten out Rachel!), I like this version of EJ & Nicole together(I keep waiting for a mention of Sami...what would she think of this proposal?!). The "NuEric" is very nice looking with pretty blue eyes :)

Goodness: Lots of shirtless men today! Xander, Eric, Dmitri, Tripp, Li Shin...fans were getting an eyeful :) I got a kick out of the scenes between Tripp & Leo...Tripp was clearly uncomfortable. Maggie & Xander's scenes were leaving lots of clues. I thought Nicole looked pretty, I was laughing at her wanting a Mimosa :)

I have noticed James Reynolds hands(Abe) trembling for over a year now. He often tries to hide it by putting his hands in his lap, I wonder if he has some kind of palsy....I was annoyed with Paulina today, going in for that big Smooch & startling Abe...good grief, the woman needs to consider what Abe is going thru!

I was getting a kick out of Li & Melinda's bad dates...Connie the overly talkative girl, and Alex trying to be "So Cool" and Melinda called him out on his glasses on & off which we have all commented on being annoying. Melinda does seem older than Li...I thought she was supposed to be in her 50s, while I would put Li in his late 30's, but they are a 'fun couple" for now. But, I am So Confused as to the time of day/night?! Li & Melinda are on dates, dressed up for a fancy 'evening out"...I assumed it was Evening. Tripp & Wendy seemed to be eating Dinner...but the other couples(Nicole/EJ & Sloan/Eric, Chad/Steph)seemed to be doing Daytime activities like going to the Hospital for Doctor appointments & Chad was out running. Sloan stops by the Restaurant to talk to Melinda while on her way to the Hospital, I was so confused. :) I guess Salem is in an "Alternate Universe"

I thought Nicole looked pretty today with the Pony & the pretty green print dress and green earrings. Why was Stephanie wearing a Fall looking dress of green jersey when everybody else is dressed for Summer?

I agree with everyone, how in the world did Whitley roll Lani down to the docks without anybody seeing her?! And then raced back to her apartment in record time! Meanwhile, Why is Lani wearing High Heels?! They are lovely, but I would not think prisoners are wearing High Heels with their ankle monitors?!

I, too, am enjoyed the Li/Melinda Trask scenes...they will make a devious pair. And even tho I am a Xarah fan, Xander & Chloe scenes are fun & flirty, I loved their back & forth about the Darts game & then the Dart board falling off the wall :) Paul Telfer & Nadia seem like they are really enjoying their scenes. Chad & Stephanie are a boring couple, Chad is a jerk & Alex is a rude idiot. Loved Justin's face while Bonnie was babbling on about Sarah.

I, too, wish they had showed the police searching the attic for Rachel and her being in her bear costume...it would have been like the scene from "ET" when ET hides in the closet amongst the stuffed animals while Elliott looks for him. Rachel is in serious need of therapy! Grandma Marlena needs to have a couple of sessions with Rachel.

Christmas Crush was boring for me, and I was surprised to read that Katie & Stephen began dating during the movie...I felt like they had No On-Screen chemistry at all!

I guess Michael Strahan is close by so he can just drop in for a visit at the last moment. Sunny had to do her usual name dropping, hanging out in the Hamptons. Poor Whoopie, laid up with a bad back...I have back problems all the time, so I sympathize with her.

Well, Rachel is turning into a conniving little kid: takes after her Mother :) Wonder how she will use that tidbit of info about Leo & Dmitri to her advantage? The young actress is cute. Leo is amusing but I'm not sure what else Dmitri sees in him....I agree with DisneyBoy that Dmitri is playing both Leo & Gwen. Does Chad not have enough money to buy a nice big house for his family?! He is moving into what looks like a tiny apartment?!

I like Abby Phillip too...she has a calm demeanor and pleasant way with her guests. Same with Laura Coates, very calm & professional...neither one gets hyper & argumentative.

It was sadly ironic that Dr. Rolf arrived in Salem via submarine & talking about getting wet on the journey considering the news about the implosion of the Submirsable Sub near the Titanic last week. And Rolf in his impeccable white suit looked like Colonel Sanders :)

I was happy to see Chris win, his story about using his winning to help build a school in his brother's honor(his brother died last year of cancer) was very emotional. He was having a rough time & in the red for a long time, so it was a come from behind victory. I knew FJ...I tried to think of a book about animals & "Jungle Book" came to mind.

It was very dramatic when Dermot Mulroney walked off the set, but I guess the ladies had been warned ahead of time since they did not seem very upset about it.

I wish we would get some clues as to why Whitley kidnapped Abe & now she wants to Kill him?! At least Abe was out of his PJs & wearing some regular clothes, but where did Whitley find men's clothes? Abe was adamant he did Not want Sausage & now he wants Bacon, but he hates Oatmeal...what does he want for Breakfast, lol. And Kate was wearing a hideous spotted vest over her floral dress...it did not go together! I did like seeing the 'softer" side of Melinda as she talked about her marriage & ex-husband.
