  1. Sooo...-swe have a Valentine Day wedding to look forward to...Johnny's proposal was sweet but cheesy, I think the actress who portrays Chanel is So Cute! I guess Tate & Holly will be -off-screen for awhile...thats disappointing, I was rather getting into their storyline.
  2. I am a Xander/Sarah fan so I was enjoying the sappy, sweet scenes with them today as they get used to be together again. I loved her Xander box & his Kilt trunk. And I liked them trying out the Loving cup. And I really enjoyed the Family Dinner at Steve&Kayla's house! Steve grilling Everett was a Hoot! Steve is already picking up strange vibes from this guy.
  3. I'm recovering from the Flu, so trying to catch up...Sloan, as a silly drunk, was making me laugh :) The actress who portrays Sloan is very good at different variations of her character: Mean Villianess, schemer, Lawyer, and now a comedic side. Marlena could have least pretended to be amused but she has no sense of humor, as Sloan said. And why did Marlena sit down to eat at the table with her purse still slung over her shoulder? I also liked the family moments with Tate at the police station...at least they acknowledged Marlena & John as his Grandparents. And Emily O"Brien has done a good job of portraying an over-wrought Mother...I like that Theresa better than the scheming Theresa & I actually liked the Theresa & Brady scenes. Give me more family inter-actions and I will be happy.
  4. I thought Friday's show was well done, and like tribeca(above) said, I was teary-eyed at the end when Eric said the "Our Father" with Nicole & EJ. These are the shows I enjoy...Family moments, families dealing with real life events(drug overdose) as opposed to the "Devil" storyline. I thought Brady & Theresa had a great conversation about their failures as parents(I was chuckling at Theresa inhaling the dark chocolate, I have done that), and then Ej & Nicole had an adult conversation about Holly's situation & maybe they did Not know what was going on with her. Families fight & have sad/intense moments & its easier to relate to some of these family storylines as opposed to others. (And I did get a chuckle out of Thomas & Chad making Alex the "monkey" in their football game :) )
  5. When I saw this news this morning, I was heartbroken...it was not unexpected, but still sad...I am so glad we got to appreciate his final scenes during the Christmas scenes, his tears were so real & emotional. Bill & Susan were a pair, and I cant imagine what a lose she is suffering.
  6. I figured out Pop Tart just in time, for some reason my mind pulled up a picture of that Human Pop Tart in the giant Toaster at the Pop Tart Bowl, lol.
  7. I like seeing Theresa being in "Mama Bear" mode, better than conniving Theresa. The young actor works well with both Eric Martsolf & Emily O'Brien. I liked the scene with Nicole screaming(I have felt like doing that at times, but never have), Everett is more creepy than ever, I am going to guess that maybe he knows more about the drug trade in Salem than he is letting on. I do like the friendship between Steph & Jada.
  8. I thought the interview with Liz Cheney was good, everyone had good questions, I appreciated that Alyssa thanked Liz for supporting her & the other young women who testified before the Jan 6 Committee. I am not a fan of many of Liz's positions, but she gets my support in her warning to what will happen to our country when the Constitiution is not followed.
  9. And the 'big' news of the evening is the fact that Timothy Chalemet kissed Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes, LoL....
  10. America Ferrera looks so pretty with her new, short Bob and her silver dress. I loved her in "Barbie"!
  11. I always enjoy seeing the handsome Justin Hartley :)
  12. I did get a kick out of the Drag Queens singing for Ana & Sarah & Sunny joined in the singing & dancing :) Joy did not seem to be there for that segment
  13. That is what I wanted to know too. I like the young actress, she is good & when her character first was on the show she was a good young addition, Wendy was strong-minded and I liked her "tom boy" vibe and her inter-actions with her brother, then the writers turned her into a boring, simpering girl with Tripp. I hope she returns as the character she was when we first saw her.
  14. Theresa has a nice figure & she is petite, so she can pull off that outfit...I cant imagine myself putting that on! lol
  15. Oh Good Grief! A wedding proposal?! That does not seem necessary...isnt this supposed to be Theresa & Gerry's day?!
  16. I am loving all the pretty flowers & table settings, its fun to see Theresa enjoying all the preparations for this wedding, since she did not have a 'fancy" 1st wedding..
  17. Anderson is always embarrassed by Andy :) The Head Honchos at CNN were 'not amused" several years ago by A&A drinking, but this year they limited their drinking to one drink at the top of each hour, and Anderson would make the most awful faces after having a drink, lol.
  18. I always enjoy watching Anderson & Andy on New Years Eve...they are a Hoot! They just have a funny vibe between each other & the stories they tell...
  19. Happy New Year to all fellow posters! I am enjoying chuckling at Anderson & Andy on CNN, they are a hoot!
  20. I always enjoy watching the Kennedy Center Honors...a good cross-section of different types of Arts. I do not know much about Opera, but I enjoyed hearing about Renee Fleming, a lovely person, and an amazing voice. I grew up a fan of the BeeGees, it must be bittersweet for Barry to be the only brother alive to receive the Honor...a fun ending performance by Ariana DeBose. And I always get a kick out of seeing 'serious" DC politicians & journalists getting into the music & dancing & clapping along :)
  21. I do not usually find Rafe & Jada too exciting, but I thought their scenes today were sweet & made them seem more connected...the Christmas Trivia game was cute. And I enjoyed Melinda & Wendy's conversation...it was emotional for both of them.
  22. Just watched "Mystery on Mistletoe Lane"...I enjoyed it...the mystery with the children figuring out the clues entertained me. Victor Webster is a charming actor and the storyline with his Father's life story was intriguing. A good way to spend an evening
  23. Finally catching up with the week..I love seeing the flashbacks, but it makes me feel old...I remember the original cast members. Seeing all the ornaments on the Horton Christmas tree always makes me emotional and I had tears in my eyes when Doug was crying at the end...real tears, real emotions. The scenes with the 3 couples were nice too...Marlena/John, Kate/Roman, Patch/Kayla...love the flashbacks there too, John & Marlena with the "big hair". This show often disappoints me, but the shows about Family & Community keep me coming back.
  24. I admit to crying at the end of this series, with the 3 Queens gathered together & young Elizabeth in uniform, saluting her Elder self for her devoted service. I do not think we will see another Monarch like Elizabeth II for a long time.
