  1. It was better as long as SHE was the shiny new thing.
  2. That show is an insult to my intelligence. And I speak as a regular watcher of TLC sh*t shows.
  3. The catfish was just the final straw with Meri. He's stated that he found out soon after he married who he really married (when Janelle joined the family) and didn't like it. I believe him.
  4. Does Robyn practice this act in front of a mirror?
  5. He's wanted out since he met Robyn, IMO.
  6. Meri seems more cheerful this week. She probably hopes this will be the beginning of a mass exodus, leaving just her with Kody in the end. Dream on, Meri!
  7. Meh! I'm more worried about Lilah never wearing her glasses or eye patch. And not talking yet...
  8. Christine Brown who's famously terrified of toasters? Interesting...
  9. I mean...what's wrong with it; is he in danger of being jiggled to death? Maybe they mean without adult supervision since it's an electric appliance. Personally, I appreciate the fact that J&A don't encase these three in bubble-wrap, unlike most neurotic parents today. Unpopular opinion!
  10. Sander is exploring California in his most recent posts. Rather ironic considering that's where Jazz would have been right now had she not been more concerned about pleasing Jeanette than herself.
  11. There was one video posted of (supposedly) Jazz at a desk on a laptop at Harvard, but there's no way to know if it was actually Harvard. She did the jumping up and coming down in a different outfit that is one of Sander's techniques, so it appears he was shooting it -- wherever it was. I'm not saying she's not there; I'm just saying these videos don't prove it. Maybe standing in front of Harvard Yard or something...???
  12. I just mean the video was apparently shot in Florida (it looks like the family home, and the whole family is assembled for it) and wearing a Harvard shirt isn't proof that she's currently attending and/or at Harvard. Hopefully, she is. Jeanette isn't.
  13. Thanks for sharing your adventure in reading glasses, Amy. We are all fascinated.
  14. What's with the surgical tape? That's a look!
  15. Haven't seen it, but Robin is definitely rather ditzy and annoying. Wonder what her job is, and has she no other life (relatives, friends, hobbies)?
  16. Well... That's Jazz wearing a Harvard shirt. Not sure that proves anything? Jeanette, Sander, and even Grandpa wear one, too! Looks to me like she's back in Florida with the fam (at least whenever this was made). IIRC, Jazz started puberty blockers at 11, then estrogen two years later. Not because that's what Jeanette wanted, but because that's how they do it (or at least how her pediatric endocrinologists did it). The most interesting part of the documentary to me was how good a soccer player Jazz was! What happened to THAT?
  17. I don't get either of those. Please continue posting clips, because that's as close as I can get (although I remember past seasons pretty well, having watched this train wreck from the beginning).
  18. Where are you all watching these past seasons? Wish they'd show them on TLC. They'd be MUCH more entertaining than 1k Best Friends, Shauna Rae, and Stuck. Re: Robyn joining the family, I have an unusual theory... Meri is subconsciously bisexual and was as much in love -- or at least smitten -- with Robyn as Kody. In fact, she was smitten FIRST. She suggested her to him and instigated the whole thing. She also hoped it would end the triangulation among the wives (Janelle and Christine against her) and even up the numbers, two against two, but it's also clear to see that she has extremely intense feelings for and about Robyn, even to this day. When Robyn hurts her feelings, those are real tears she cries. So yeah, Meri, you did this to yourself. AND to the rest of the family. Hope you're happy! Adding: this would also explain why she won't leave; she'd be leaving not only Kody, but Robyn. If she stays, she can at least be the "favorite aunt."
  19. The Duggars were dumped a long time ago! These newest TLC shows leave a lot -- A LOT -- to be desired. They need to hire fresh blood in programming or something... Or just bring back Kate Gosselin. 😄
  20. Yeah; it's good to get a second opinion before spending THAT much money out of pocket. I've lost a couple of molars (also a family of bad teeth), but I manage. If you're going to be on national TV, however, and it shows, at least get a flipper.
  21. I don't know if anyone is interested, but I found this old documentary on YouTube that I had never seen before. Jazz is 11 at the time and just about to begin puberty blockers. It was kind of fun to see the whole family back then. Might give us something to talk about; this forum seems a bit dead!
  22. I get the feeling this was somehow supposed to be a replacement for Jazz, who has aged or grown out of her "cute little girl" stage. The placement of this show right after "Jazz" and the preview logo in the lower right-hand corner during it tells the tale, along with the "trapped in a _____ body" narrative. Not sure how that worked out for them, though...
  23. Salmon was served. A dish that's best served cold!
  24. Did the tooth never come in? Is that part of "being trapped in an 8-year-old's body"? Inquiring minds...
  25. I'm sure the issues are overwhelming (or will be) for the kids, too.
