  1. Well, a year of preschool doesn't seemed to advanced his speech much... I hope this is being addressed - by someone - and not just laughed off, as usual, by Z&T who indeed seem to do most of his talking for him on the show.
  2. This was in response to someone asking if Chris would have any legal claim to Amy's house after marriage. But that's no doubt the deal they've worked out; in most of Amy's giant-head selfies taken around the house, "my man" is shown blurred in the background working on some project or other that she'd never be able to do herself. So it's all good as long as Chris enjoys home improvement! Presumably he mows the grass and tends the garden, too, but it's probably no more than he had to do around his own home. The more pressing question is: will Amy make room for his pet fish???
  3. Z&T just proudly posted that he's "graduating" pre-school and will start kindergarten in the fall. Ignorance is bliss! And Lila Bean's eyes are fine.
  4. They've gone the way of the Gosselins. You'd think that family would have served as a cautionary tale, but guess not!
  5. I think Trent is basically a good man and loving father, even to scapegoat Anna, but he naively leaves the parenting to Amber and gullibly takes her word for everything. And wants to stay on her good side to preserve his sexy time. And not the brightest. And weak. And did I mention whipped? But not a malignant narcissist with sadistic tendencies like Amber.
  6. There IS no mortgage; Amy paid cash with the money from her buyout (or other assets). However, Chris could retroactively charge for all the manual labor he's provided since she bought it! Working on the house, I mean.
  7. Amy bought this house; Chris isn't part owner. As for property and marriage, "joint" would be anything accrued after the ceremony, so the house would remain solely Amy's unless she deeded it to him in part or whole afterwards. Chris apparently liquidated his real estate asset and is living large playing the market!
  8. I think she's been quoted as saying that she plans to keep this house for about ten years. What would be "more suitable"? I don't think it's a square footage problem...
  9. Maybe they prefer privacy -- at least to some extent? And I don't think anyone knows for sure where they're both living. Not even Amy now that she's moved!
  10. I agree with you - there have been too many slips of the tongue, and then there was that kiss on the stair landing, which is major PDA for those two - and I say WELL PLAYED. It was probably a very small, private (obviously), understated, and classy event befitting their ages and "seasons" of life. In contrast to...
  11. I remember Amy going house-hunting with Deb at one point and walking poor Felix on a leash around her neighborhood; something about doggie poop bags. Looks like the same neighborhood where she ended up buying (Deb actually pet-sits for her when she's off on one of her many bike trips with Chris). I, too, was surprised. My heart broke for both Felix and Lucy; those two loved the farm and each other!
  12. I suspect that athletic Amy does something for Chris that no other woman, in his many years as even an adventurous bachelor, has been able to do, but I'll spare you the details. I'm sure being a millionaire is the icing on the wedding cake. What's a few clown figurines cluttering the shelves or fly-laden coffee mugs sitting around compared to all that? In all seriousness, I do wish them well. Actually, Chris may be more into her than she is into him. All that constant petting he does in their THs...
  13. Lots of women in the PNW are "outdoorsy"; that's a fact. Chris wasn't exactly a hermit (he has biker friends, both male and female; poker buddies; he must've met thousands of people in his line of work), and yet he chooses to marry Amy. She must float his boat.
  14. I thought the same. Especially when Amy suddenly affected that giggly little girl routine around Chris (seriously, when had Amy ever before giggled uncontrollably and talked a baby-soft voice which she unfortunately continues to use in "my little kitchen"?). Not that there's anything wrong with that! There's a lid for every pot (more kitchen references). After all, there must be SOMETHING drawing Chris to Amy? We all know it's not her organizational or housekeeping skills.
  15. There doesn't seem to be anything Amy isn't capable of doing physically. Maybe that's another attraction for my man!
  16. And, as usual, Zach and Tori seem happily oblivious to an apparent speech delay and eagerly hope for more children because "dwarf butts are the cutest" and "soccer team"...
  17. The farm is free, and Amy is cheap. Also, more opportunities to lament "30 years, no longer my home," etc.
  18. It's certainly not a stretch for me to believe that Chris frequented strip clubs as a single unattached adult male (as I recall, it was some sort of singles group that brought Amy and Chris together; she went from having no friends when first separated to being accompanied by a mob everywhere she went, and that's how singles groups roll), nor that he has a proclivity for little women, so I'm not sure why anyone would doubt that testimony. As quiet as he is, we've heard more than one sexual innuendo from him, so he's obviously not a celibate or prude; in fact, I gather he gets a "kick" out of Amy's various and sundry costumes, and her LP status seems, if anything, a turn-on for him. I had in fact read from a separate source when Chris first appeared that he frequented the Portland nightlife scene, and it was rumored that his tastes were...well, shall we say liberal? I gather Amy appeals to that wild side of my man! Little kitchen!
  19. Matt and Amy raised four children, plus not infrequently hosted out-of-town family who visited for holidays and - who knows - maybe even friends when they were active in LPOA. That would have been one sprawling ranch if all the rooms in the farmhouse (not to mention that farmhouses are traditionally two-story) plus bathrooms were all on one floor! Better to use that land for pumpkins and projects. I'm sure Matt occasionally went upstairs, if only to check out the hoard and squalor, but his bedroom, bathroom, and office were all on the first floor. He was also younger and somewhat more agile then. I'm not "blaming" Caryn for buying a two-story (if indeed she does), especially when she stated no ranches were available; I just doubt if it's a place where Matt -- or even Caryn, for that matter -- would actually spend much time. Could Tori make it any clearer (no pun intended) that she hated Lila Bean's glasses? Way to put a positive spin on it, mom! No wonder she soon had her in the black scholar frames (that didn't fit properly) versus "ugly pink baby goggles."
  20. Tori has a personality -- a rather annoying one! As an aside, her mother and grandmother are both extremely short; is there dwarfism in her family (although she obviously takes after her tall father)? As for Caryn's purchase, maybe it's a story line and will never happen, maybe it's an investment and a flip (Matt did one, and I'm sure she has Matt's contractors at her disposal), or maybe the proposal is a gentle nudge to Matt to get moving on the dream house! For Caryn is subtle, whereas Amy never was and still isn't. I agree that a flight of stairs, even with a "rest area" in the middle (Matt is on crutches and could seriously hurt himself climbing steps) is only slightly less impractical for a woman with a dwarf boyfriend than Tori buying a house with multiple sets of stairs with a dwarf husband and two (plus however many more they intend to have) children. (Oh, and Karen said she was currently in a townhouse.)
  21. I think Matt wants a harmonious relationship with them for the sake of the kids and grandkids, and there's nothing wrong with that (and, for all we know, they have one IRL). Matt is also the mastermind behind not only the pumpkin farm, but also the show, and knows what brings likes: drama between Matt and Amy. Heaven knows Zach and Tori don't exactly keep viewers glues to the edge of their seats!
  22. I'm sure Amy's guests - AND Chris - appreciated that bitter reference to her ex-husband as drinks were served. Matt: living rent-free in Amy's head since 1987.
  23. Amy just couldn't get through an episode without taking a swipe at Matt (she's "not used to" having a mate with social skills who is actually cordial to guests)... We came sooo close!
  24. "My man" working hard to display a bunch of artificial floral arrangements to sell in the yard sale, it looks like. Bending over... I don't see coffee mugs or clown figurines?
