Hawaii is where the Roloffs took their last vacation as a family, I believe. It's also where Matt always talked about retiring/buying a second home/disappearing to for part of the year. I could be wrong, but doesn't Amy's sister either live with her father or nearby and act as sort of a helper/caregiver?
-
Did you know Amy lived there for 30 years? I wasn't "dismissing" Amy's childhood health problems; I said "related to dwarfism." She's remarkably healthy and able-bodied, considering. Even athletic.
-
Are they even really getting married, or is it all just for "show"? If she doesn't legally change her name, we'll never know... After all, this is REALITY TV. As for health insurance, I always assumed at least some with dwarfism were considered disabled and thus qualified for Medicaid, at least as children. I know Jen Arnold was at one time crusading for it to cross state lines so Will and Zoey could see the same specialists that she and Bill saw as children. Matt certainly has one of the MOST disabling forms (diastrophic), and I doubt his middle-class parents could have afforded the cost of all his medical care as a child. For TWO children with the disorder, actually (his brother, the photographer, also has it). So I always assumed Zach qualified, as well, and Jackson and Lila. But not Tori. Amy, as far as I know, has never had ANY health problems related to dwarfism.

I think it was in one of the many "Live with Lisa" IG installments, which I don't blame you for missing.

Okay, it's not just that "he doesn't talk much"; I don't, either. It's that he speaks in grammatically incorrect and incomplete sentences of just a few words at a time, comparable to the speech of an average two-year-old versus a four-year-old. Hopefully I've made myself clearer. Apparently I don't speak very well for my age, either!
-
It's not his pronunciation; it's that he barely speaks at all and, when prompted, only in one or two word sentences. That's not the norm for a four-year-old. Pointing out facts and expressing concern is not "being cruel."

Someone in another forum,, back when early episodes were discussed used to refer to "Amy's drunk dad." It's true he always seems to have a drink in hand! Must be where Amy gets her fondness for the ubiquitous glass of wine, which probably accounts for some of her more disorganized videos. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Yes; isn't that the farm manager position? It's not just for pumpkin season. -

Wasn't he also very active in LPA at that time? The first episode of the show featured him giving a speech at a school (maybe his kids'). I think his stool business has been around a long time, too. At any rate, it was interesting in the last episode to hear Amy concede that of course Matt was physically unable to perform the farm work himself, so his "job" was supervising the labor of others. -
They seriously could have been transported from the farm in her myriad boxes. Do her neighbors have mouse infestations? Looks like an upper-class suburb...

I thought Amy said Matt was working a full-time job when they bought the farm (then additionally supervised the farm). I suppose at some point he transitioned to making the farm his full-time job, which was smart since you can't always count on someone else to hire you when you're a little person or otherwise disabled. I certainly don't think anyone could ever accuse Matt of being lazy or directionless. -

The mouse incident occurred in Amy Roloff's Little Kitchen. Not only a mouse, but a flooded room (the mouse was drowning in the water). Chris was there, thankfully, to alert her (still in bed) and turn off the hot water, which had flooded the new kitchen floor. All things considered, we can probably forgive her for not showering and washing her hair THAT morning... -
Audrey's family is quite wealthy, I believe; maybe someone's a pilot or owns a plane.
-
Didn't I read something about a mouse infestation being what shut down the bakery that was producing her pumpkin, etc., loaves to sell? This was a couple of years ago...
-
Plus they announce the wedding date while still pondering the venue? Sure, Jan.

Does she just start the camera rolling every night when she cooks supper and make a "Little Kitchen" show out of it? I'm beginning to think so!

Tori chooses to live her life very publicly. You get what you get! It's pretty obvious that she expected another Sully (the canine version of a mini-me) and was disappointed that she didn't get the same dog. Don't buy a giant puppy and then complain about it. For a mother of two, she's quite immature, IMO.

Tori seemed gob-smacked and devastated that Lila wasn't going to be "mini-me," so yeah, I'm sure she's still trying for that! -

I thought Jackson looked a little reluctant when Amy was encouraging him to come in for a hug at the Christmas party, but maybe just me... He probably doesn't spend as much time with Amy as he does with Matt and Cha-Cha. -
Lisa suggests that Amy ask the FB viewers if they can hear her or just Amy, and Amy totally ignores her request; "I think we're good!" She'll just repeat what Lisa says; Lisa points out that this will take five hours. Never change, Amy!

When they first met at Amy singles' pool party. One week she was reflecting that she had no friends or life and hosted a tea or something for rather portly church ladies, and the next she had about 30 cool single friends (I'm assuming a singles' group). The first outing was a wine-and-art painting event, and then she decided to throw a bash at the pool, of course running over to tell Matt all about it. Lisa and Deb appeared as her "lifelong best friends" to help her pick out a cute suit, and she impressed with her aquatic athletic prowess. Chris proposed a bike ride. The rest is history! Or her story! -
Where can this be seen? You've got to hand it to Amy; she brings the entertainment!

I swear Chris's ardor was inflamed when Amy cannonballed through the center of the pool toy during that party, There's a lid for every pot! I just hope their sexual attraction is enough to compensate for whatever incompatibilities inevitably arise... Did Zach really say "short-staturedness"?
