  1. I think they call that being passive-aggressive, but that's probably as far as Chris dares to go against Amy along with all the arm-rubbing he does to pacify her in their THs.
  2. The "Amy sandwiched between two men" comment. Ewwww.
  3. "It's been a sombering year." Oh, Zach. Oh, dear. "Lacksidaisial." Never change, Amy!
  4. One of the posters on another unnamed forum who confirmed that "my man" frequented strip clubs also added that he frequented other clubs and may even swing both ways. Maybe he considers marriage to Amy a BOGO since she's still joined at the hip with Matt!
  5. Let us not forget "fustrated," which both Amy and Zach mispronounce. That was the only word I noticed (for years) until she delved into the culinary arts with all its exotic terms like Parmesan.
  6. I think their personalities are more similar than their looks. However, Jeremy is the spitting image of her brother! At first I thought she was referring to her "line" of marketable products...like maybe a flavor of fudge that's an old family recipe. "Michigan Maraschino" or some such. BTW, I said Amy and Tori purport to be educators; I didn't call them educators myself. However, if indeed Amy interacted with four-year-olds (reading aloud to them, hopefully without mangling the language), then she should have some inkling that Jackson's speech is somewhat delayed. Same for Tori. Neither one have to be Rhodes scholars to have worked professionally with preschool kids.
  7. Pssssst! Chris! Now's your chance to "accidentally" break all those coffee mugs and clown figurines while dusting!
  8. He doesn't have a hearing impairment, as far as I know; he has/had tubes placed and is prone to earaches related to swimming.
  9. Actually, no. Turns out the child ended up being diagnosed with autism, but only years after critical early intervention opportunities were missed due to the mother's denial and/or attempt to save face by concealing the speech delay.
  10. I think the point being made in that post was that Amy and Tori both purport to be educators and thus should be more attuned to such things as speech delays versus a pumpkin-growing grandfather. As for Zach, I don't think anyone expects him to be astute about much of anything! As for Jackson's doctor, a friend of mine had a child who still wasn't speaking at the age of 3. However, at each doctor's visit and to anyone who would listen, the mother insisted the child talked up a storm at home and was just shy in certain circumstances. I can only assume the doctor took the mom's word for it since no speech therapy was ever prescribed.
  11. All roads lead to Matt! I wouldn't use Will Klein as a comparison. Not only is English not his first language, he clearly has delays and has been in speech therapy since, I think, his adoption, so I would hope Jackson would be more advanced. I personally also believe he may suffer from Willi-Prader syndrome, but if so, that hasn't been shared on the show.
  12. Zach seems to have the same challenges with pronunciation. I still remember Tori falling out over his "glucosamine," and she's ridiculed his mangling of a few other words in recent seasons. Chip off the old block?
  13. I'm glad this wasn't a selfie. It would have reminded me of that Twilight Zone episode.
  14. In THIS video, she remarks that she loves leftovers. Hee!
  15. I agree that neither is hurting for money, but I'm sure this relationship has propelled Chris into a whole other level of financial security (Amy freebies, publicity from the show, ability to liquidate and invest assets, TLC-sponsored travel, living presumably rent-free, etc.). However, I think he derives other intangible satisfactions from the show and Roloff name; he's commented that he enjoys Amy's "fame." Would they have gotten or stayed together if she were just Jane Blow, divorced mom? Who knows? That said, I think it's safe to say the "fame" is here to stay as well as the show, in some incarnation, even if it means having to forever keep Matt and Amy involved just to keep viewers awake.
  16. She DOES apologize if she's totally obliverating (???) that word at 05:22.
  17. New "Little Kitchen" cooking video. Bolo- Bolog- (however you pronounce that) Sause (sic) over Pasta!
  18. Correct. It's not a "true farm." It's a tourist attraction. And Matt seems to have done alright for himself -- and his entire lazy family -- NOT growing pine trees... Back to the episode: Z&T debating whether or not they could bear to leave their Nightmare of Stairs in the 'burbs to occupy the LP-friendly farmhouse was pretty funny.
  19. I think anyone watching any episode of LPBW could easily discern that "what brought them to divorce" was their basic incompatibility; they were always like oil and water and are both more happily matched now, so it's a happy ending. Next!
  20. Perhaps this belongs in the "Matt and Amy: Divorce" thread. Just a suggestion.
  21. You are correct; I should have said that Amy hooking up with "my man" made Matt very happy for HIMSELF.
  22. Then why in the world has she mentioned several times that they can't get married until he moves in full-time (they were already "shacking up" five days out of the week)? I think "religious Amy" - didn't the kids attend a private religious school? - is a relic of the past or occasionally dragged out for certain Instagram posts...not that I personally believe it's sinful to cohabitate without benefit, myself. I agree that she's more "in love" with the idea of marriage than with marriage itself; possible even than with Chris himself! She seems to regard it as a personal achievement, IMHO.
  23. "My man" reportedly lived with a former GF for seven years without marrying, so evidently it's not him cherishing the tradition.
  24. Because, as always, it's all about Matt. I'm sure she feels the need to remarry before he does (it remains to be seen if that will actually be the case or not)... Amy is nothing if not competitive and seems determined that Matt be made aware of every detail of her "second act," whether that's to make him jealous - stifling laughter - or just rub it in. I remember she couldn't wait to run over to the DW on some pretext to let Matt know she was going on her first motorcycle ride with "my man"! It backfired, however; he was very happy for her! The urgency to marry can't be on religious grounds since we know they're now officially living together and presumably were doing the mamba long before that finally happened, and I can't think of any other reason... I agree that they have the IDEAL arrangement living separately and BOTH would be happier that way, but it's Matt's - I mean AMY'S way or the highway!
  25. I do, indeed, thank you for that, but Z&T - not unlike Amy - are prolific posters on social media, which is in real time.
