  1. Betta are solitary (they'll fight and kill each other in pairs) and are often kept in simple fish bowls so, technically, it's "adequate." But it can't be much of a life...
  2. #thecaptivityofhenrymandchrism
  3. Zach and Tori probably have their hands full with two children with dwarfism, both of whom are (it sounds like) facing surgery in the near future, and whatever happened to Zach's progressive spinal stenosis? That didn't just go away... I suspect that's at least part of the reason J&A went radio silent and took a SM break -- both to insure the pregnancy would "stick" and to avoid gloating about it, at least for a while. Joy on "Counting On" was one of five sisters/sisters-in-law who were expecting at the same time and lost her baby at, I think, six months... It happens.
  4. Except that it wasn't; she's 5-6 months pregnant.
  5. What was Amy even crying about? I have my guesses (reminiscing re: her wedding with Matt). I noticed she rhapsodized, in another scene, about HER event; me, me, meeeeee! Poor Chris really is just a bit player. Something tells me she wouldn't even mind if the union dissolved at some point after, as long as she beats her ex to the altar and gets to be queen for a day! Also, is fish Henry living in a table lamp?
  6. I remember an old episode when Caryn was holding Jackson (he was still a baby) at pumpkin season and Amy was having a cow about it, saying in her TH that "that's MY grandchild!" But I imagine babysitting would interfere with bike rides, road trips, soup night, girl talk, cooking videos, walks with Felix, selfies, and whatever #amyandchrism get up to. #secondact isn't raising kids all over again! I also recall an early scene of Amy babysitting baby Jackson while Z&T went on a "date" to an ice cream shop. Zach admonished her to pay attention to J and not be on the phone all night; then they came home early and walked in to find her on her phone! That was when she was being a social butterfly with her singles group before singling out Chris.
  7. What? Amy's getting married in 2021??? Is "chrism" to distinguish him from any other "chris" she might be marrying?
  8. Zach and Tori don't work, either, unless you count Zach trying to tell Matt how to run the farm. Jer and Auj are actually more productive in terms of actually producing something, even if it takes them months and/or isn't viewed as valuable. Just sayin'.
  9. Didn't he even say that going around closing all the doors and drawers behind her every day was like cleaning up after a child? Good thing he's into that!
  10. Matt didn't say he didn't want to move the chapel. He asked if Amy was going to want the chapel moved, because he would kind of have to know that in order to get it done, and Amy got all defensive about him getting up in her wedding stuff. I wonder how long Chris will be able to pass off his honesty as "just kidding"???
  11. Is the implication that somehow poor Amy was robbed of "the fairy tale event" the first time around by big, bad Matt? From the looks of her wedding photos, it looked pretty fairy tale to me, poofy white dress and all the bells and whistles.
  12. I assume they waited to announce it until it looked like a sure thing after Tori's miscarriage and maybe so as not to appear to rub her face in it or be gloating. As for the Jeep ride, how fast do you go leading a bike parade; 5 mph? Pretty sure Bode will survive that one. I'm not big on hating on family members who aren't even on the show anymore and haven't been for years now, but just me!
  13. Hopefully they shared it with the neighbors or Amy's kids before that happened -- she was always bringing meals over to Zach and Tori -- although I'm not sure they'd know what to do with raw vegetables. I suppose Jackson could always feed them to the goats!
  14. This would basically be primitive camping, which used to mean a hole in the ground or at best a portable loo, but fortunately they now have such things as incinerating and composting toilets that don't require plumbing. I'm sure accommodations will be provided (the four - four and a half - grandchildren aren't quite ready to spend the night there yet).
  15. Well, she's got the money to waste after selling her half of the farm...
  16. That is one chonky little boy! Who does he take after -- Amy?
  17. Hey, with Felix hoovering all the food she drops (did you see her transferring those diced potatoes from the counter to the pot on the stove?), she has a clean floor without having to sweep or mop... Win-win!
  18. It's adorable; the grands will love it as they grow up. GO, MATT!
  19. On the farm again! Isn't that Matt's log cabin?
  20. She's definitely reading here.
  21. She undercooked the first couple of pieces, scorching the outside, then noticed the oil was too hot, so turned it completely OFF. At some point she turned it back on (after a few pieces sat in the cold oil not moving at all), then was shown re-entering the room wearing boots while the chicken was frying away without her supervision. Does she do a trial run of these recipes before filming? What am I saying; this is Amy we're talking about!
  22. Quite possibly he bought a whole pig, and she bought half from him; families often go in together on slaughtered farm animals if they both have deep freezes. I've seen goats, but no pigs on the Roloff farm.
  23. Commenters noted that it browned too quickly, meaning that the oil was too hot, which meant the inside possibly wasn't thoroughly cooked. The meat seems okay in the screenshot, but her nails look filthy! It's always something with her. Then at 11:27, she handles the cooked chicken with the same hand with which she had just handled the raw chicken. Never change, Amy!
  24. He appears in the pork chop video, probably slamming back some of that vodka.
  25. Oh, no; more pork! I swear she just hits "record" every time she walks into the kitchen to fix something to eat. Next she'll be monetizing the daily brushing of her teeth in the bathroom.
