  1. Starts up again tomorrow night with the VMA fashion wrap-up!
  2. What a great episode. It's so neat to be able to go back to the 1600's and have so much written history available (get out the white gloves!). And such a beautiful village in France. I also love that Tom Bergeron drives a convertible vintage Beetle.
  3. I believe the mods are trying to keep award shows to one thread per show instead of a new one every year. I sent a message to change the thread title.
  4. Susan Sarandon was on Chandler's list and she was also a guest star (who slept with Joey!).
  5. I do like how Joey got caught up in the story and was horrified when Rachel reveals that Beth dies.
  6. Most know about immigration, census, and military records, so I do like that they introduce different genealogical sources that are available. like the Veterans' home records.
  7. I thought she was styled better in the dress for photo shoot than for the wedding. Her hair and makeup were too severe. And the less said about the bird on her head...
  8. That would be the show Impastor that's on TvLand!
  9. A new movie is scheduled for September 13th-Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Truth Be Told "The POstables are on a mission to deliver a soldier's letter from Afghanistan to a teenager who's being relentlessly bullied, while Oliver's estranged father surprises him with news that shakes him to his core." And on October 4th-Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Impossible Dream-no description
  10. I give Jenna Bush Hager props. She's due any day now and she looks great. She doesn't look uncomfortable at all. I know she's only on for an hour, but I don't think I could've done 5 minutes in the days before I was due.
  11. "Ted Koppel's Big Night Out" is on. Kurt asked Brendan for a napkin and he pulled one out of his back pocket. Kurt is sitting at a table with a napkin dispenser. All the tables have napkin dispensers on them and he wasn't eating messy food making it hard to get a napkin out of the dispenser.
  12. Minor nitpick-In the episode An American Girl in Paris part 1, Carrie is meeting the girls at 6:00 for dinner for a 9:00 flight. This is right after 9/11, she would have to be at the airport at 7 at the very latest for a transatlantic flight. And if her book is being sold in Paris, wouldn't her publishing company jump all over having her doing promotions of the book all over the city and possibly places like London too?
  13. I think the award for most WTF outfit for going on a transatlantic flight goes to Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City when she went to Paris. There must be something about Paris.
  14. I just saw The Ghost and Mrs. Muir for the first time. WOW! (In a good way!) Looking ahead to the October schedule-certain nights feature Women filmmakers so the movies are from the 1980s and 1990s. That's just going to be weird.
  15. Speaking of "holy shit" moments-how did they hide from the audience that Rachel got off the plane? You can see her shadow when Ross is yelling into the phone. But it was a great moment! Did they film that without the audience and insert it later? You would have thought the audience would have given it away otherwise.
  16. I'm glad they talked about Parker Posey's hair because that was a bad dye job. The colorist should have been called out for that. It was not flattering at all. It was probably a nice shade of blonde before the colorist screwed up doing her roots. And how about when Michael gave away the prize because he misheard the answer!
  17. Is it the candlesticks that both Rachel and Monica think they own?
  18. FYI, the pilot episode is the 2nd episode. The first one is the backdoor pilot for Schneider that was done after the series final.
  19. How long in real time did all the bouts take? Was the whole thing done over a weekend?
  20. Hallmark's Christmas in July coincides with the release of the Christmas ornaments in Hallmark stores (my personal favorite weekend!).
  21. Who Do You Think You Are starts up again Sunday (July 26) for the Summer Season. Featured are Bryan Cranston, Ginnifer Goodwin, Tom Bergeron, Alfre Woodard and JK Rowling's episode from the British version. Some of Season 6 episodes are airing in the early evening/nighttime before the start of Season 7.
