  1. I thought the same thing. I would think him being one of the "Founding Fathers" they would treat him with reverence and actually bury him. To me, the flashbacks and signs in the candle room indicated that they saw outsiders as the enemy who they would entrap, destroy and eventually eat. The fact that the brother was treated no differently than their enemies tells me the group was totally off the charts crazy! Or as Conan called him, every annoying Starbucks manager you've ever met. LOL! Even with that, Martin was the most irritating Termite to me, with his stupid little cocky grin. He immediately went into lie-mode claiming he had a safe place for them to live... even after they clearly heard him say his people were going to "bleed out" their friend, the kid in the hat! He was so cocky; so sure he and his group were going to be win in the end. That was clear to me when he told Tyrese he really didn't want to do "this" today. He thought it was game-over when he picked up that walkie-talkie to call the base. He thought Tyrese was dead and he was calling in to warn them Carol was on the way. IMO Martin and the rest of the Termites were drunk with power. They had outmaneuvered, killed and eaten so many unsuspecting people that he had no doubt Carol and Tyrese were doomed. But, like Rick said, he REALLY did not know who he was screwing with. Heh!
  2. Exactly! I can see one person, maybe two, saying "Hey let's eat these rapist bastards and anybody else who falls into our trap". But, how in the world do you get all the others to go along with it? Like Conan said in "The Talking Dead", I might pretend to be down with cannibalism to stay off the menu... But, first chance I get, I'm sneaking the hell out of Dodge. But, everyone seemed to be okay with this whole "let's eat people" plan. Craazy!!
  3. My favorite line too. It was all Kurt Russell from "The Soldier": "I'm going to kill them all" LOL! I thought of another movie scene when Rick told the Termite Leader how he was going to kill him... Reminded me of Mel Gibson in the first "Lethal Weapon" when he was hanging from the hook and being tortured: "I'm going to fucking kill all of you". Heh! LOL! I saw her expression as... "Where the hell have you been?! Stuff is constantly blowing up around me... that crazy little blond girl tried to kill me, TWICE!!... Then some gum-chomping sociopath sent Uncle T outside to fight all those zombies by himself and threatening to snap my neck. I need a nap, oh and some milk if you have it!"
  4. As a black woman I was very bothered by Denzel's remarks. If one of the white contestants had said: "I think Denzel and Keith are stupid and inferior to me because they're black. I don't mind losing, but I would really hate to lose to stupid, inferior low-lifes like them. I need to represent for all the intelligent, superior white men out. What would all my white friends say if I lost to one of them?" And then after it gets back to the white contestant that Denzel is upset about those remarks, that white contestant followed up with: "Hey, my opinion of you doesn't mean I don't like you and that we can't still be friends. I'm not being racist. You're being too damn sensitive. We can talk about this like grown-ups... but if you just want to be stupid and use that tired old argument about racism and throw out the race-card then I hope it upsets you enough to send you home.. proving my point that you are too stupid and inferior to represent ANTM! Just sayin' " IMO Denzel's statements are not about his healthy competitive spirit. It's about prejudice and intolerance... And the fact that Will heard the conversation by accident should not matter one bit; that he wasn't meant to hear it does not magically take away the sting or make him immune to hateful words. I'm glad Tyra spoke up and tried to enlighten Denzel. Sadly, I don't think her words had much impact on the "traditional" young man who thinks it's a good idea to fool around with a tactless, drama-filled, silly, immature 18 year old "woman"? He was just pretending to agree with Tyra to win points with her. His friends will likely pat him on the back when he gets home. And he will gladly high-five them for their support. (heavy sigh). IMO it's because his conceit and super big ego override his prejudices. He thinks he's the next big supermodel/actor and that he will single-handily save the industry and other straight models from the "stigma" of being called gay. And he'll do it with the sheer power of his extreme manly maleness; Umm, that and his very masculine rash-inducing front lace weave beard. ; )
  5. IIRC, they were allowed to pick their helpers. I'm pretty sure Heidi said something like "You can have a helper, your old partner or whoever you choose to help you".
  6. And that top was supposed to be her SHOWSTOPPER!!! The piece that was going to give her the edge if it came down to a tie in the winner's circle. It was her Ace in the Hole!!! Heh! (sigh) Poor Korina.
  7. I disagree. Yes, Tim seems to be a big fan of Char's and she has been a benefited from it. But, they've all (with the exception of Kini) been on the receiving end of some kind of save or another: Amanda - Got the ultimate second chance to compete by being brought back on the show. IIRC she lucked out with at least one of her silly designs. Sean - How many times was he on the bottom (at least 3?) and could have easily gone home. But, the judges believed in him and kept giving him another chance. Emily - Could have been kicked off for the American Girl design as well as the Avant Garde challenge. Korina - Made an ugly ass green dress, and was given a 2nd chance to fix it and made it even uglier. But, she stayed in the competition anyway. Even Alexander (who last week complained that he was mad at Char over zippergate) was lucky he lasted as long as he did with his very mediocre and often times craptastic designs. How many times was he in the bottom before the judges finally booted his ass. Every booted contestant who lost to the remaining designers can scream they were robbed. That's the nature of a competition that is so subjective. I believe Char eventual boot is coming. And the final 3 will be Kini, Sean and Amanda. Korina's tantrum was more about arrogance and entitlement and than it was about unfairness. She was so focused on declaring Char unworthy to hang with the big dogs that she didn't recognize her own design flaws. That cape was awful ... and attempting such a complicated dress in one hour was ridiculous! Even with zippergate and Char's questionable sewing skills, Korina and Alexander would have never been in the position to lose to her, had their own designs been on point.
  8. Korina may well be a (slightly) better designer than Char but I can't stand how she lashes out and is unable to take criticism. She's incredibly thin skinned for the Fashion industry. The funniest part was the way she kept asking the other designers if they ever thought she would be going home. Oh come on!! She could have easily gone home the week she was in the bottom. She lucked out. But, I think her delusional ass has blocked that from her memory and really believes she's the greatest designer EVER! She could have easily beaten Char in that challenge. But she was so angry that Nina didnt appreciate her brillance and that she had lower herself and compete against the likes of Char that she blew it. IMO they're all kind of mediocre.. capable of the occasional exceptional design. So Korina needs to get over herself.
  9. Korina is the most entitled, hateful, delusional person I have ever seen on Reality TV. A couple of her badly sewn designs have been in the top and she acts like she's the next Vera Wang! Can't stand her. She takes her disappointment out on others, which makes her a horrible person. Remember how mean she was to Amanda the first time she landed in the bottom. To continually berate Char...whine that Char had already been eliminated.. then say it's not about Char when Char dares to stick up for self...I just can't with her. So glad she's not in the competition anymore.
  10. Umm... I'm not at all convinced that was really a little girl. Based on her mannerisms, maturity and speech patterns I'm sure that was a 30 year old woman in a little girl suit. Heh! She seemed like a nice kid ..and indeed was very calm and brave to try new techniques. But, I'm not entirely sure the best cook won. The winner left something off her plate in the first round and her appetizer was described as under seasoned. In the second round, her entree was described as tasty ... but it consisted of about 3 or 4 small bites of chicken. It seems like the judges liked the appetizer and entree of the runner-up better. The runner-up seemed to have bested the winner in 2 of the 3 rounds.. and IMHO should have been named the winner.
  11. EXACTLY!!! I thought the lawyer kind of sucked... Wrong or right, a lawyer's goal is to give their client the best defense and get them off by any means necessary (within the law). She was ready to plea bargain right off the bat without looking at any other option. But, I think that has more to do with the writers trying to wrap up the storyline quickly. The plea bargain/sentence may very well have been the final conclusion of the lawyer after presenting her defense to the prosecutor... But that would have taken too long to play out. The writers had to quickly put Daphne and Bay in a tough spot that required to Bay to make her selfless gesture. They apparently didn't have enough time to play it out.
  12. I thought it was quite selfless too... and not unheard of. I'm sure there are cases of family and friends taking the fall for a loved one... because he punishment would be less severe. Of course, it probably happened more when DNA technology wasn't as precise as it is now. But, it's totally in Bay's character to take the fall for Daphne. But, yeah Daphne should have some consequences for her rebellious, crazy law-breaking ways. I hate to see her get a felony though. I know i'm all over the place. LOL! I'm torn between Daphne being punished and having her life ruined by a felony... because of teenage stupidity. I feel the same way about the countless people who received locked for non-violent crimes.
  13. That was my problem with it too. No school would announce something like just days before the prom. The dress code would have been mentioned to the Senior class long before that. Most people don't wait until last minute to buy formal wear. It's also not believable that such a progressive and inclusive school would have such a rule, even if it was allegedly coming from the School Board. Just plain silly! And where did the Prom Nazi school official come from anyway? I don't ever remember seeing him on the show before. What happened to the kind, patient and understanding female principal who runs the school? I wish they had let Bay and Emmett have a nice protest-free Prom... with the biggest problem being the Limo driver showing up late.
