  1. Ohmygosh! JPJ snotting on the ground! Gross!
  2. Colton does something that I think is so attractive. When he's talking to one of the women, he looks intently into their eyes or face. He kind of ducks down when he does it. I think he's probably the most attractive bachelor they've had.
  3. Jason has skinny legs and slicked back hair. Don't like. I thought Colton was the cutest of all the Bachelors. Would like to see him as the next Bachelor.
  4. Kisses ~ They are supposed to look so passionate, open-mouthed, enthusiastic. Anyone else notice Becca kisses the guy's upper lip?
  5. I didn't even notice that the final four were men of color! Not sure how many were gay or not either. But I was shocked that there were no women designers going into the final. I think the judges should choose the best of the auffed women and bring her back to at least give a little equality . Who would be your choice to bring back if that hapened?
  6. I thought both of Alyssa's dresses on the show last night were fine. The rainbow number was a little startling but very pretty and unusual. The blue lacy dress was pretty. Nothing to criticize there Her hairstyle was flattering too..
  7. I thought the auditions were much better tonight. But in some of them, Katey had the black wooly worm on her arm again...
  8. I think what was wrong with most of the poor to mediocre auditions last night was that they tried too hard. Their vocal cords were tense and they hit wrong notes and squeaked. I kept wishing the judges would ask some of them to sing another song in the hopes they'd relax and do better. What was so great about Sinatra boy (Zack?) was that he did appear relaxed. Katey's eye makeup was excessive but beautiful.
  9. What was with Katy's dress? When that boy was singing 'Worms,' I thought, 'That's it! It's a big black worm on the arm of her dress!' When wooly worms are completely dark like that in our area, we think it predicts a hard winter.
  10. I don't recall AI auditions being so mediocre in the past. Most I thought were awful! However the Sinatra boy was great! I'd vote for him as the winner right now without seeing the rest of the pack.
  11. He told all 3 that he loved them. I think he probably felt correctly that it was a prerequisite for them being ready for the fantasy suite. But, yes, how icky ~ 3 in a row. I can only imagine how the women felt when they watched the show back saw him saying 'I love you' to all three and they each felt so special. I also thought Ross was pretty doggone tempting. Maybe he'll be called back for one of the men on 'The Bachelorette.'
  12. I'm curious about the designer whose name is spelled 'Art' but it's being pronounced as 'Ari.' I hate to even ask, but what is wrong with her skin? Is there an official name for it.
  13. VERY disappointed. I had heard the old characters would be back and they were, just not the beloved actors who played them. I felt quite cheated with look-alikes. Darn! If they could have pulled this off ~ actually bringing back the originals for the 300th show ~ it would have been great.
  14. I wonder about the clothes the contestants bring with them. Corinne, for instance. Obviously, most of her early outfits featured her 'upper assets' the most. But, my gosh, those jeans she wore last night were great. Even with flats, her butt looked wonderful. Poor Nick is probably just about blind from looking.
  15. JenE4 said <Ben, you don't HAVE to propose. This is pretty insane to think proposing to one while you're still in love with the other is a good idea. Every time you get into a stupid little tiff you're going to be questioning what if! I bet the other one wouldn't forget to pick up milk!>> I've thought this all along. If you're not absolutely sure about 'the one' you should say at the end you need more time. ' I want to date both women longer in real life and get surety' (is that even a word?). It also occurred to me that whenever the engaged couple do have a rough spot, Ben will slap his head mentally and think 'I could have had JoJo!' Also crossed my mind that Lauren could have slapped Ben up side the head and said 'I could have been the Bachelorette if you'd chosen JoJo!' Seriously, I hope they're all happy, Ben and Lauren in their romance, JoJo in finding better love on 'The Bachelorette.' She was my choice for Ben. Lauren did seem 'too perfect' and JoJo was more earthy and real. Plus people think her awesome boobs are implants? They look real to me, but what do I know about the differences. Have had the same ones for 70 or so years. When Ben finally decided which love while viewing the rings, I was thinking 'Is that a Lauren ring? Or a JoJo ring?' I thought Lauren.
  16. It ended up as I thought it should ~ Bindi first, Nick second, and Alec third. I was really impressed with Andy Grammer's singing and dancing. Bindi was criticized early on for the 'faces' and it seemed she paid attention to those comments on the internet because she did calm them down a bit. I was feeling sorry for her for the fact the make-up on the show was breaking her forehead out terribly. She is a teenager, after all. And, my goodness, who did her hair tonight? the upsweep was beautiful but the butterfly curl added on to her forehead was pretty bad... I hope DWTS opens up a whole new career for Bindi. It's done that for others.
  17. Tim went out of his way to say the edits were not to make people look better/worse and that the button choices were completely legit. The fact that he addressed those suspicions makes me more suspicious. Someone in the thread 'Finale Part 2' said Kelly looked gutted when she lost to Ashley (although she did congratulate her and praised her later.) As I re-watched that ending between the two, I felt Kelly looked gutted before the winner was announced, as if she knew what was coming. On the other hand, Ashley looked smug, as if she was not only confident, but expecting the win. I don't want to pile on the criticisms of Ashley's win. But social media, at least what I've read (mainly here), was shocked at her win. I was shocked at Swapnil saying her collection was great and would have won shown on plus size or regular sized models. I was surprised she did not in any way address the avalanche of criticism leveled at her by the viewing public. Straycat, I was mesmerized by Swapnil's ear decoration too. It would be kind of neat if it was a button, but I thought it was just a new kind of man's earring, on the upper part of the ear.
  18. <<Both Tim and the judges told Ashley that her collections was ill fitting and looked like a high school student made them. It was actually Heidi who made that statement and also said she hated mostly everything shown. The for Ashley to keep everything the way it was and STILL win? I call Bullshit.>> I didn't hear that in the final evaluations of each designer's choice of three of their designs. If so, that's very honest and true. I thought they gave her a tongue bath and she was very smug that hers were the only designs that were not dissed by the judges. The judges were so rough on the other three designers, I think it put them off their game and they made some changes they shouldn't have. I thought Candices wooden neck piece looked awesome and even her model asked about it. As far as the win, it is appalling. I hate to bad mouth anyone, but Ashley's collection was so unattractive and poorly made. Who fixed that broken zipper at the last moment? Ashley seemed to think it was funny and just stood there and looked at it. The poster above who compared her finale gown to a Rose Bowl float was very apt. I think possibly Tim's negative comments about Season 14 were not meant for individual designers, but for the fixed win. I'm a bit heavy, as is my daughter. I know that certain outfits look good on us (mainly looser tops and tights or pants in darker shades) and others don't. None of Ashley's would have. Not a single one. My choice for the win would be Kelly, followed by Edmund, then Candice, with Ashley dead last. I think the only appropriate punishment for the judges would be for THEM to wear Ashley's collection, including Zack and including the flower pots, for a period of time. I think Carrie and Heidi are able to pull anything off and look good, but Nina and Zack would be hilarious in them.
  19. I'm amazed at how much better Kelly is styled now. Either she or some PTB must have noticed. I was one of the ones who compared her look awhile back to Boy George. But I think she looks quite good now. Ashley's transparent strip on her skirt was horribly unattractive. If this is her idea of designing for the plus size woman... Her legs looked like an old lady's who had put on stay-up hose and folded them down. I agree with Kelly for the win and Edmund for the go. But I also agree it's a done deal that Tim will save him and he'll go to Fashion Week. They send 4 instead of 3 a lot, don't they? That's 1/4 of the original lot. Maybe they should do away with the show and let them ALL design collections for Fashion Week. That being said, I'm so glad Edmund will be there (if he is).
  20. Yeah. What was with that? I turned it off after the first two re-dances. Hardly any new content. If anyone missed Monday night's show, there are plenty of places to get it w/o wasting two hours of air time. Guess they made some money off commercials. I actually thought they might announce the first couple of leave. But no.
  21. Unless the show decides to pit Ben Z against Ben H for the Bachelor and let the 25 women pick which one they want, I really see Nick as the next Bach. Twice a bridesmaid, never a bride! So close. On the other hand, I did/do like Kaitlyn. I liked her on Chris Soules' season and I liked her even more this time. For once, I really did believe she had deep feelings for both men. And she didn't want to let Nick go until the last minute, although she knew from the very beginning she would pick Shawn. I think the show relentlessly short cut Kaitlyn. Few exotic locales, no home town dates. Heck, they even did the FR in the DARK and the pavement at the house looked wet like it'd been raining! Talk about the bum's rush. I think they did it to punish Kaitlyn for so obviously preferring Shawn from the get go. And you know what? I don't blame her for 'being in the moment' with Nick. Not something I'd do, especially if I was so in love with another person. But, heck, she had every right. She was not in a committed relationship. She was seeing several other guys. Maybe it was her version of a last fling. But I definitely won't slut shame her. And I think Kaitlyn and Shawn looked very happy and in love. (Geesh, this is all against the protocol of this forum, isn't it?)
  22. Ben Z and Ben H see to be the front runners for the next Bachelor (much as Ian believed he deserved it). I wonder if they would consider doing the same thing to choose TB they did to choose TB'ette. Now that would be funny! And fair. Let the girls pick.
  23. Much as they appear to hate each other (producer driven, in my opinion), Shawn and Nick are now 'Eskimo brothers' even though on different nights. I've never seen a B'ette be 'sick to her stomach' as often as Kaitlyn. Pepto-Bismol should be a product placement. Shawn is so obviously her choice, although she enjoys Nick too. As I mentioned in another post, the show always makes it look as if she is going to choose another man before she picks the one who is actually her choice. It's been harder to mislead the viewing audience with Kaitlyn because she has been so obviously in love/lust with Shawn from the beginning. And oh, yeah ~ both the extremely close bro-love between Clint and JJ was as producer driven as the fight between Shawn and Nick. Oh, and one more thing (honest), why do these lousy actors smile when they're saying they love/hate someone? It's so awkward and insincere looking. That's why I didn't believe Nick when he professed his love for Kailtyn ~ he was always grinning like an orangutan and looking off in different directions. And when Shawn threatens to dismember Nick, he's grinning in almost a apologetic way, to me. PS: I wonder if Kaitlyn and Nick (rather than the producers) came up with the idea of using him as a decoy for her real feeling for Shawn. Their relationship could also be a sham. She talked with him, told him honestly she was over the moon over Shawn, not really feelin' it with the other guys, and would he like to come on the show and do a little acting, get a little more publicity. If so, its Nick's family who are the far better actors. Of course, they know a different side to Nick than we see and doubtless really love him and are concerned for him.
  24. I guess this is a dumb question, but what did Kaitlyn do in the snapchat that was so bad the producers would want to give her a bad edit? And what IS a snapchat? I have a strange feeling that Ben might be Kaitlyn's choice. In previous years, the edits all point to one person as the Bachelor/Bachelorette's choice. Then it's the 'sleeper' who is the F1. Wouldn't it be funny if they (producers) were leading us (and RS) astray with both Nick and Shawn? I don't like either Nick or Shawn. Nick smiles when he's supposedly talking seriously. Shawn's looks just don't appeal to me. But Ben is a doll.
