I really like Adam. His performances always make me smile. I agree with the poster up thread though. His weight may affect his stamina in this show. Does he remind anyone else of Coach Bieste on 'Glee?' Adorable! I think the audience have been told the more they 'react' to the singer, the more they will be shown on air. The black kid that was rocking out Wed. night ~ although he looked like he was having a ball, I bet inside he was saying to himself "I'm far better than these guys. Maybe a recording executive will see me in the audience and give me a shot." The other one I really liked was Qaasim. High energy performance. I liked Taylor Hicks for similar reasons; unusual moves. But the one I always quit what I was doing in the break room at work (eating, yakking) when he was on was Adam Lambert.. To the one above who said she cried for days when Clay got his veneers, I was heartbroken when he got his jaw job.

The best singer in this episode was the girl who sang St. James Infirmary Blues. And she wasn't put through while caterwaulers were. So strange. Remember in the first episode when we all agreed about the one guy who sang horribly off-tune and yet went through? There are so many of us in this thread who feel the blues girl was a standout. This is just downright odd.

Yes, I think the judges were instructed to like barista guy (Cory? Kory?) because of the story and giving Ryan an opportunity leap over the railing and spontaneously go to talk to his boss. Jennifer was the best actress with her goosies and lip synching the song. Keith was the worst actor because he looked like he was wincing at the off-key notes (that would be most of them) or looking as if it was unbelievable that Cory (I've made my decision) was really that bad and he was going to have to pimp him. Harry just gave 'a look' to Keith like "Is this the one we've got to praise?!" How did they keep straight faces? Must have taken a few takes. What are the judges hearing that we're not? How are we hearing something that they're not? That guy was so bad.

I don't see a thread for last week's show (ep 8?) Has Previously TV given up on TT? Whoops, my bad. 'Gone Girl' was the episode last Tuesday? All the misery kind of melds together.

I liked that Zachary chose the most dramatic accessory to design for. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the bustier, but I loved that gorgeous green skirt. And was his second design the grey dress? I thought it was equally compelling even though the judges called it 'too simple' or 'no wow factor.' I'd like to look at that one further.
