I fully agree, teacher here.... What also bothers me about the bios is the "rather childish" language and construction they use. Last year I let my students do a passport assignment, i.e. a biography, which looks exactly like the stuff on the DCC site. And that work was done by 12 to 14-year-olds who have English as a second language! For such a world class (here we go again!) organization, I would definitely expect something that exceeds that level.

Personally, I think that the arms over the head is the worst. Especially with those huge puffy sleeves. I must admit I quite like the cheeky over the shoulder look, though perhaps not the most suitable cameo/profile picture.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this is going to be the season with the highest number of returning vets. No one wants to retire after such a shitty season.... Which also leads me to speculate on the 2021 season of MTT: If hardly any of the vets leave, there are few rookie spots, which means not much show content unless...there is a massive vet culling which would make for “great” drama and plenty of room for new rookies... ouch... some vets’d better be warned!

Cheekfillers or not, those features don't do her any favours I'm afraid. K&J always talk about how the girls look on the big HD-screen but I'm sorry to say this, her face isn't hd-friendly....

The discussion of Marissa's age and whether or not she should marry surprised me a little to be fair....True, in the 21st century most people marry when they are a little older (at least in most parts of the US and Europe) But not all do so. Yes, you could argue that she is young, immature and has a life ahead of her so why the rush? But in her defence: 1. You cannot decide when you meet your Mr Right. (If at all!) And when you do and you are happy.... why not. 2. Mhe current divorce rate is about 1/3 of all marriages if I remember correctly and people from all walks of life, all ages, whether they dated for 10 years or 10 months get a divorce...(heck, my parents divorced after 30 years together after the kids had flown the nest) 3. I didn't know her boyfriend is a cancer survivor. But do not underestimate what that does to a relationship. A loss or a serious disease either make or break a relationship. I take it they have both learned life can be brutal and that a relationship is not just a fairytale but really for better or worse, in sickness and in health....In that respect she is probably more mature and wise than a 25-year-old who's never suffered a setback in life. But...that is my opinion... I wish them all the best!

Well, I don’t understand the Gina-Ashlee swap in the 2nd triangle? They could (should?) have left Ashlee where she was and put Gina on the outside spot. Now she goes from flanking Maddie in the triangle to a position hidden in the fourth row? So basically the first triangle swaps places with the girls from the second triangle who were in 3rd row, but not Gina? Who is pushed back and to the middle? and even from Kelli’s “bouquet of hair colors” it doesn’t make sense to do it like that?

Re triangle; weren't they doing two triangles again this year? One with Maddie as point and one with Rachel W? Does anyone have an idea of what the 2nd looks like?

IWhen it comes to the “who just didn’t do it for me as point-competition” nothing beats last season’s points if you were to ask me... I was ok with Holly and loved Kashara. There is this great Thunderstruck video on youtube with Holly as point and flanked by Emma and Jacie. It is so obvious Holly is having a whale of a time and enjoys every second of it. It’s what Kashara radiated too. It’s hard to explain, but I simply can’t stop looking. Maddie is obviously enjoying herself too but she just lacks that it-factor. She is just not able to draw me in...

We already know their editing is sloppy at best, but generally incredibly bad, dishonest and mean.

Re. Probowl... I’m not from the US so all I know from probowl is straight from the internet... so... what’s the fuss? It’s not the Super Bowl, that would make sense. Maybe I am wrong but it is my understanding it’s an incredibly hyped-up event but the teams cannot be bothered to send their best players to play a one-off event in made up teams for fear of injuring them? And the players who go don’t give 100% because of the same reason? So from a sports perspective not many care. Yet to the DCC it seems the biggest honor there is? I just don’t get it... so if someone can explain this?

I am trying so hard to understand why the Cowboys think it is ok to humiliate and make fun of their (future) employees on tv..... I suppose it’s for ratings, but it is a team/company that is so proud about everything they have achieved and what they stand for, yet it is apparently ok to sacrifice your loyal and hard working employees on national tv? Up to a point where they create drama that is not even there? with the pride they have for anything Cowboys-related I would have expected a more professional and true approach to the tv show. On a personal note: who out here would want a boss that treats you like trash?

I haven’t seen this season yet because of region restrictions but wanted to respond to the comments re. a (hopefully) more lenient standard in weights. If that’s true, that’s absolutely amazing. A lot of these girls have become way too skinny, up to a point where it’s unhealthy and lose their feminine curves. The very visible rib cages in some of the poses make me cringe! No muffin tops of course, that would be awful in that uniform, but most girls would look better with a few pounds extra.

I teach in high school and it is scary how many teens seriously consider becoming an influencer or selling stuff online as a future career! They honestly believe it is easy (lazy) work that will earn them a fortune. Bursting that bubble in trying to explain that only a very select few make a decent living out of it is pointless. Not in the least because most (wannabe) influencers do everything they can with photoshop and clever backgrounds to keep up that image of a jetset life. guess it’s one of those curses on social media: not knowing what is real or normal and what not...

This....a thousand times! ,I just rewatched her rookie season and there were quite a few moments where I thought "did you hear what you were saying?" or "Have you got any idea how you come across now?" I would love to have a friend like Kat: Fun, with a group of friends, definitely. Amongst football players, the Joneses, celebreties or politicians? Most definitely not! In fact, I am 100%. sure she'll make for some interesting headlines if she' staying on for a few years. Simply because she either has no control or awareness on what comes out of that mouth...

I could not stop laughing after reading this response and the baffled reactions of some to why men do not seem to bother with washing their hands... Just their fascination with a certain body part should be enough to (sort of) understand men's logic 😂😂 Surely, there cannot be anything gross or unhygienic to something as amazing as that?? (Not saying I agree btw!!) There...I've said it... and in a rather political correct way if I may say so. So hopefully no one is offended now!

That way Kelsey was trying to process what Kelli meant with that bacon comparison in the short interview afterwards! She literally munched over the chewy bacon and said she'll be more like crispy bacon next time. I kinda feel she desperately tried to respond seriously but I'm sure she thought something like "wtf??" (sorry for the language guys)

Kat seems to be a “love or hate kind of person” But as much as I like her sparkle, her entire attitude (airhead and speaking without thinking, reacting completely over the top)makes me cringe... positive vibe? Yes for sure, accident in waiting? Definitely. I would absolutely never put her in any type of spokesperson position! She has no control over that mouth nor clue about what her words might do to others. Basically like Victoria...I am just waiting for the moment she is going to greatly embarrass the DCC...

oh yes, absolutely (mum of 3 here), and with shocked I basically meant incredibly worried as I could barely recognise hear. I have seen a few post-pregnancy pics and she looks absolutely amazing in those.

Re: Jenna and Holly vs Paige... The rumours about Dak and Jenna seemed to indicate that she was little more than a pastime to him. Someone on this forum actually said Jenna thought it was very serious but he thought otherwise. She’s never mentioned anywhere when it comes to his (past) girlfriends/relationships. Had it been different, as in Dak having very serious and honorable intentions, then Kelli might possibly have reacted differently I think. High profile player or not... It seemsthat Jeff and Paige were serious from day one and also kept a low profile themselves. I feel that this also greatly contributed to Kelli not interfering. It’s what she wants for her girls; a successful time as DCC, followed by a good marriage and a bunch of kids. It sounds like the perfect DCC fairytale... I am sure the part of fraternization is mostly there to protect the girls (or dcc brand!) Whether you like it or not: any fling with a player would result in the player being the hero and the girl’s reputation in tatters... not my opinion by the way, just a sad realisation on how are society thinks in general...

I can hardly name anyone where cosmetic surgery in the face actually lead to an improvement. With 9 out of 10 people I feel like "holy moly what have you done?!!" Can someone please explain why people keep on doing these procedures and change natural beauties in caricatures of what they once were? How can someone like Lacy actually be happy with her new look when she looks in the mirror?

If I remember correctly, someone across the board posted about this a while ago. There was this one and done girl from about 8 years ago, (I think her name was Emily?) who gained a lot shortly after. I believe the explanation was medically related? I also remember seeing JennK heavily pregnant in the 2017 or 2018 show (she was giving Kelli feedback on the stands) and it shocked me how huge and puffy in the face she was. Of course everyone gains weight and suffers from swelling to a certain degree, so it probably doesn’t count as an answer to this question, but it really scared and worried me to see her like that. I did not even recognise her at first.

That’s an interesting question... uhm I don’t know... I did wonder whether Kash retired after 4 years because she had been point for 2 years. Has anyone ever done 3? as for politely demoted: I kinda feel it happened to Maddie going from point 2 to point 1, which is a lot shorter and less spectacular (my opinion)dance-wise.

I like Maddie too, a lot actually , for most of the reasons you pointed out. So couldn’t agree more with you. But... that does not make you the right person to have that no. 1 position in the team. A point has to be front and center all the time, not just during Thunderstruck. Someone who stands out, even in a group of beautiful women. How can you make someone point of 36 people in a massive stadium when you can barely utter an audible sentence in front of a group of people with a look on your face that shouts “can I please hide or run from here?” I know her primary task is to dance, but I also remember Jenn and Kash as points and good representatives in lots of other situations like interviews and appearances.
