Don't forget that she had a very high opinion of Victoria as a DCC as she did with Holly and Erica until they messed up. And you do not want to explain on national tv why your stars retired/resigned early, no manager wants to make that call. As for Courtney; I don't know Kelli's thoughts on her as a DCC or as a person but she seemed genuinely shocked by what happened to her. She may have regarded this as a personal failure of not being able to protect Courtney and a wake-up call that bad things like substance abuse and eating disorders exist in the perfect world of DCC.

I really hate those "can you see my arm pit" poses. They're awful when used as the official DCC-cameo picture but even worse to look at when prospective TCCs use them in their application. I have seen a few now. And TCC Amanda posed like this. It seems that only the DCC is still fond of this old-fashioned pose. I've worked with quite a few professional photographers and no one would ever recommend this!

She must go through the entire process for her own sake, if she comes back! If she's selected just like that, it will be the entire nepotism thing again. Not fair to others but definitely not fair to Victoria either because it would rob her of a chance to start with a clean slate (or as clean a slate as possible) I'm sure some time away from the DCC and mommy dearest will do her good.

You may wanna check the work of the DCC media people too. That's what I call pretty dang dumb too. They have been discussed at length here. From typos, awful grammar, ridiculous pictures, pictures with bad lighting or filters/photoshop etc. Not to mention stories about cheerleaders with the wrong pictures? This must be a multi-million business but they can't be bothered with getting the simple things right.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
LilyD replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
To me, it always looked like they randomly collected the cheapest stuff from thrift stores.. It didn't matter what it looked like, as long as it came cheap. -
Absolutely, she has a great sense of humor and will probably think this is funny. Besides, MTT has made her look like a complete fool before, so why even run the risk of giving them another chance to completely humiliate yourself on national tv? I also see nothing strange about her attending Jenn's classes. They did cheer together and may have bonded then. She also teaches the DCC-style Kelsey likes. So probably just for fun. Lastly, isn't Kelsey almost 30? That's pretty old for a TCC! (Though I wish I was still that age...)

Victoria much reminds me of a child who has to become a surgeon, lawyer or take over the business because they have to follow their parents' footsteps. The pressure is on to be what you're not, to do what you don't really want. The pushy-parent vibe is what I get when seeing Tina, who is literally there, every-single-step-of-the-way. I'm pretty sure Victoria struggled with this. Is it the reason for taking a leave? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. It would definitely explain the mature (finally my own decision) and brave (stepping up against mom and Kelli) Just not sure where unselfish kicks in.

Probably the same as the “mean colleagues” in many businesses. Those are typically the ones who feel they are better, entitled to more or people who think they can advance over other people’s backs... Their acts or behavior ranges from nasty pranks, insults or simply tattling behind someone’s back.A lot of companies in many fields have them. If you’ve never encountered one, count yourself lucky! Age doesn’t matter btw.

Anyone else wondering how they’re going to show Meri & Kody’s (non) existing relationship in the new season? IF it gets renewed? A (nasty) split could make for interesting tv... It would be absolutely ridiculous if they hang on to the “guy married to 4 wives” esp. since both Kody and Meri have admitted they barely see each other. And now Meri openly acknowledges so too. (By not mentioning any of them)

Some of the swimsuit pictures over the years have been so incredibly thrashy and/or over-the top-sexy that they make the actual DCC uniform look modest! I like Savannah a lot and this picture is really nice but I do wonder why that backside (in a too small bottom piece) had to be front and center....

She actually said 13 of my best friends... This is such an immature, over the top and insincere thing to say. Most people have a handful of true friends and a small (or large) group of acquaintances. Don’t confuse those with friends! True friends are rare and won’t abandon you when things get rough, as most of us will find out at some point. That may hurt. If, amongst your true friends you have one or two that are extra special, then they deserve to be called best friend.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
LilyD replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
In Meri’s topic, someone posted that her LV home has come back onto the market for $799000. It’s seen some improvement. And apparently there’s a buyer (within a week!) already. I wish we got to see Kody’s reaction to this! The HUGE amount of money that’s not flowing into his bank account.... Another great example of a Poor-Brown-Decision that turned out to be even worse! -
I recently heard about that awesome stuff that can literally cure everything. What was it again? Oh yeah, Plexus! Could someone suggest this to her? I'm sure she can get a discount. Oh wait...she's got a cupboard full? Maybe it doesn't work that well after all🤔

I see an interesting parallel between Marissa and Victoria: Both girls have a mother whose sole goal is to push their daughter front and center all the time, no matter what. So, it is not necessarily about the girls. It's what their mothers turned them into....And the people on here see past the outer appearance and they don't like what they see.

It is absolutely pointless to try and understand what drives people like Jackie as their minds lead a strange and unpredictable life of their own. They have a severe mental illness and should receive proper care (but that's my personal opinion). The true stalkers are usually convinced that their victim cannot live without them. People like this Jackie seem to thrive on having a massive and destructive influence on people's lives. That, or she does live in a delusional world of her own, like some suggested.

I seriously doubt she'd have become one anyways. If I remember correctly, there were rumours about Jenna crossing the line several times (esp with her Dak-fling) TPTB sort of seemed to have allowed it but still. That was just before the whole Holly-thing. The All Stars seem to be a special reward only given to those who were of impeccable behaviour. That does not include fraternisation with players... (Unless you are of course called Paige, but she married him so that is probably different)

Now I have to think about something that happened a few weeks ago when we had a bbq with a good friend and her husband: Her 9-year-old daughter quite spontaneously and confidently told us that her parents had only had sex twice. And I couldn't resist asking her why. Here's the exact quote: "Well, they wanted kids, right? And they have the two of us. So why the heck would they do it again?" That was soooo funny!! (Once my friend had recovered from that bomb shell, she vowed she'd figure out where her daughter learned those 'facts')

Whatever prompted her temporary leave, seems to be pretty secretive. An insider would probably give her/himself away so can't say anything now. I also think that it must have been pretty innocent: I doubt the Dallas Cowboys would rehire someone who has seriously discredited the organization or management, no matter whose daughter you are. Addition related to UK-eve's post: I think the DCC have learned an awful lot from Whitney's case: They got a lot of negative attention which probably made them realise that any future incidents would have to be treated more severely, hence the harsher punishments of others. And I can see how it is a lot easier to release a TCC than a veteran (Heather) who had proved her merit. Is Victoria's leave linked to a phone hack? Maybe. But...as most know, a year's leave is not going to cure this. The internet will make sure it will haunt and taint your career forever. So, I doubt this being the reason.

For the purpose of this forum, I’d say keep all those accounts open as it gives us a lot of info. However, anyone with a little bit of common sense would (should) set their accounts to private! It stops people who don’t know you, or could potentially hurt you, from checking into your life. And what about recruiters, potential new bosses etc who unfairly judge you on what you posted once....

All Past Seasons of the Late Lamented Show
LilyD replied to ByTor's topic in Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team
I'm thinking of all the rookies that were filmed for MTT over the past ten years or so. And every now and then there is one who is barely featured and thus goes completely unnoticed. Any ideas on how or why that happens? Maybe because their "story" is not deemed interesting enough for tv? I'm thinking JennA for example. I cannot remember she was featured a lot in her first year as a rookie. When she became a more prominent DCC, I actually had to look back to find her rookie season as I could barely remember her! Maybe because they thought she was too mature to do stupid things on camera (like orange-tanned Kaitlyn) or because Jinelle and Morgan had a much more interesting storyline? Any thoughts or more examples of cheerleaders that have gone unnoticed on the show? -
That is probably the only time I actually applauded Mariah. That was one of the most mature reactions she every displayed; holding your own mom accountable for her actions.

It's actually a lot worse...I remember one particular scene when she was called out over her expensive LV rental. Her response (quote) "Am I to be punished for having only one child? I would have loved to have had more children." She kept on using this 'misfortune' for all her demands: Why should I have a small house? "Because it is only the two of us?" (She had 5 bedrooms in LV!!!) This is sheer manipulation or emotional black mail, whichever is more appropriate. She also was vehemently opposed to budgets being allocated according to family size/needs. She demanded the same as everyone else. It doesn't take a genius to do the math for a weekly grocery shop for a family of 2 vs. a family of 7...

I knew there were more but when I was writing I could only come up with two... My brain is currently A.W.O.L🙃 My post was mainly about the lack of effort to design a proper uniform for the guys: they led them in but could not be bothered to fix that. Glad some of them now have.
-
I may be wrong here, but the only NFL teams with men that I know of (the Eagles and the Rams but there may be more) had pretty basic and boring men's uniforms. They mostly seem to wear track pants/ shorts with a t-shirt in colours that match the female cheerleaders. They could have done an awful lot better than this if you ask me. If this is the standard, the DCC could simply provide a man with white track pants and a blue shirt. (Not that they will, of course)

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
LilyD replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
This made me chuckle. Here we have a pretty common phrase/expression used by some wives/girlfriends when their partners cross the line big time: "dick detention". I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out its meaning but I'm sure Robyn would love it!
