There has to be technology that can get that records real recording. If they can resurrect 100 year old silent movies that are mostly dust, they can do this. Maybe someone watching will have a way to do it and they will get in touch. Next week is the finale and my guess is he is in that grave. Let's hope he is, he did not fake his death and kill for 20+ more years, that's just dumb. I think it would be awesome if they somehow proved that is is Holmes but Mudgett is not his descendant. I would laugh and laugh. Does anyone know which wife is supposed to be his gg grandmother? He has never told the show his lineage. He really needs to at this point, he just looks crazy

This case has always interested me. My guess is she was dumped into the ocean and no one will ever find her. This new info about human remains being found is something I never thought would happen. I will be floored if the bones so prove to be Natalie's. Pretty sure Joran Van de Sloot did it, but the bit about his dad breaking her legs and helping to bury her is a little hard to believe. The dad dad dropping dead of a heart attack in his 50's just makes me think he had some pretty bad Karma. I'm sure he knew his kid killed her. ETA: The Aruban officials are now saying the bones were animal? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/human-remains-natalee-holloway_us_599744f3e4b0e8cc855dc41b?ncid=inblnkushpmg00000009 I have seen other sites that say they removed human bones and are taking them to be tested. Is Natalies dad a famewhore who is looking to plug his show by saying there are human remains? I hope not, I think he's a sad man who is looking for his daughter and will do anything to find her. This whole thing makes me sad.

The first thing that stood out to me when I was reading the book by Adam Seltzer was that Holmes was totally cross-eyed or had a lazy eye (I can't remember which) and because of that he never really looked anyone in the eyes. Seltzer said he would look anywhere else while he would be talking to them. I have no idea how he managed to con so many people when he looked like a shady motherfucker all the time! How he married and slept with so many ladies is beyond me, he must have had something else going on. In the one picture they have of him, I always look at his eyes and one does look a little wonky to me.

Brilliant! What would be even better is if they all take her up on it. Or she wins

Wow! Dogs are pretty amazing aren't they. The dog might be the only one on this show without an alternate agenda and he/she pinged onto some bones in a yard. I can't remember if they said historic human bones or just bones but the dog found something. The coal and matching buttons are interesting for sure. Could be from anything, so I hope they can get some info on the bone fragments. It is all quess work at this time.

Maybe the show can pivot and focus more on Holmes. He is an interesting character even without the Ripper stuff. There is enough there to fill a show I think. They could just say there is not enough to prove he's the Ripper and move on to the murders he is accused of. Some people say hundreds some say 3. There is a lot of story there.

Does it have to be American authors? I haven't read where that is a qualification, just what Americans like to read. If it's American books/authors I'm going with L Frank Baum and Laura Ingles Wilder. Books from my childhood are what stick with me the most. I also really like Hawthorne, Irving and Poe as well. I guess I gravitate towards the spooky.

Patricia Cornwell wrote about the letters and pretty much proved that Walter Sickert (the painter Cornwell thinks is the Ripper) wrote at least 3 of the letters. They came from a very small run of paper, about 24 sheets and a paper expert matched 3 of the Ripper letters to 2 that were written by Sickert. That doesn't make all of the letters real, anymore than it makes Sickert the Ripper, but I think that at least a few might not be hoaxes written by the media. I really enjoyed the time they spent looking at holes on the bottom of the Chicago River. Positive proof that Holmes killed hundreds and encased them in cement and dumped them in the river from a shell company that he probably never set foot in. I'm waiting for them to dig the guy up, I can't wait!

I will give everyone 411 when I get back. I know he only does Sundays through London Walks. I certainly hope I can get there early and ask him about the show.
-
I have heard it is a great tour, and I am going to wait and buy his book on the tour, it looks great. I am pretty sure that Holmes was not the Ripper, MO is just too different. I like this kind of show, even when it's totally out there. I saw somewhere that ID channel is doing a special called Murder Castle, so I will be turning in for that as well. No idea when it will be on though.
-
They had Donald Rumbelow on! He is an expert on the Ripper, has written a book, and does a Ripper tour on Sundays that I am going on during mytrip to London in two month! He was the retired police detective. I am so excited, maybe I can get some info on what he really thought of this theory, they didn't really ask him.

I have only seen her in the one episode of Black Mirror, but she was good. Now I need to watch Broadchurch to familiarize myself. I am impressed this didn't leak out. Let watch the Doctor Who world explode

Wimbledon Final is over. Now they do the awards and interviews I guess. So it could be anytime now! I have changed the channel to BBCA and am currently watching Bear Grylls torture people. Spoiler for winner of Wimbledon
-
The data was red! Obviously they all could tell right away that a huge rock was hurtling towards us. I mean really. I knew the guy who looked up the picture of the explosion was dead man walking. I am going to need some small meteorites to hit major landmarks soon, I need my disaster porn. Too cerebral and I might lose interest. I'm in for the season and have stocked up on my Ensure, just in case.
-
So, today's Wimbledon ended at 10:30 or so. It was a short match, so I guess this announcement could come at anytime from about 10-2 tomorrow in the US eastern time. I guess I am watching Wimbledon tomorrow. I am so excited! I don't care who it is really, my son wants someone younger, he was not a fan of Capaldi.

I did find the info about his mother interesting, wouldn't put it past him to have killed her. The other deaths in that town were supposition, kids died all the time back then from stuff they didn't know about. I think he killed more people than a few but less than hundreds. He was much to busy in court defending himself with all his scams he was running. I really hope they can prove he was in the US when the Ripper was working, that would be one down at least. I'm in for the season, I just love to watch them dig up a grave as gruesome as that sounds. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I really hate that this kerfluffle over the picture is probably the death knell for this theory, if it's proven to be pre-flight. I think that the people that put this together were looking for a "hook" and seized upon this picture and ran with it. It's really too bad that they didn't do their due diligence and find this picture. They were probably trying to keep it under wraps to make it a surprise when they announced the show and it has backfired on them. Doesn't make the story untrue but it really throws a shadow over the whole thing -

I read somewhere, if I can hunt it down I will post it, but there was some speculation that she was spying. Or, at least, had cameras on the plane that might be mistaken for spying. I also heard that there was nothing extra on that plane at all, it was basically just fuel and the bare minimum of equipment they could get away with, so who really knows? -
The Great Pottery Throw Down - General Discussion

I am crier. I cry over everything! I am really not exaggerating. I say that I cry over any excess of emotion, good or bad. I cry when others cry. I hate it, because it makes me look weak, especially when I am mad. Anyway, I find Keith charming, even with his crazy hair. I love this show, it is harmless and sweet. I just found it online and started watching. -

This new info on the possible dating on the photo is very interesting. If it turns out to be true that the photo predates the flight, I fear that this whole theory will be dismissed. It's kinda like throwing the baby out with the bathwater, just because one part isn't accurate doesn't mean the whole thing is bunk. I still have a hard time ignoring all the first hand accounts. What about the lady with the radio who heard Earhart for days after and told the authorities and they ignored her? Earhart was a rockstar in those days, I think it's strange they totally blew her off. Everyone keeps saying that Japan didn't want to rock the boat with the US and would have done anything they could to get her back home, but I seem to remember that after the first World War, the Allies treated the Japanese very badly. We ignored them completely in the aftermath and the treaty signing and they were very put out. It's one of the main reasons why they joined the Axis parties in World War 2. I might have it completely wrong, but that seems like something that might have colored what they might have done if they came across Earhart and Noonan. -

I don't understand all the people that just dismiss this theory out of hand. Why is it so farfetched as any of the other theories that are floating around. The sheer number of eye witness accounts should lend this some weight but people just don't buy it. Why would all these people lie about something like this? I can't see what they would have gotten out of it, especially when most of them didn't even know who she was. I find it interesting. -
I just love Kevin and Vi. They are too cute together. Same goes for Mickey and Ian, I really hope they can figure it out, they are better together. Mickey trying to let go of the stereotypes and just be himself is fantastic to watch. He is learning so much, in spite of himself.

S04.E07: A Jailbird, Invalid, Martyr, Cutter, Retard, and Parasitic Twin
Arynm replied to David T. Cole's topic in Shameless
I am so pissed at Fiona I can't stand it. She took on the responsibility of the kids, she's not allowed to act like she doesn't have kids anymore. Leaving coke out is a rookie mistake and she should know better. Lip is allowed to be mad, he didn't ask for any of this, he didn't sign on to raise his siblings. I can see in his eyes that he sees his college dreams slipping away. I really hope he can make it work, I want him to succeed. -
I cried ya'll. Straight up cried with how much Bash was cheering Carmen on. I don't care if they get together or are just great friends, but I LOVE them. This show was everything to me, the 80's vibe, the jeans that made everyone's ass look huge (stupid mom jeans) the real emotions and friendships of the women. I really, really liked this show. I was a child in the 80's, graduated high school in 92, and I really enjoyed the nostalgia of the roller rink and the big hair. I await a second season

S01.E01 Visual Aids: GLOW's First Visual Aids Are Like A Punch To The...Well.....

This was fun! Music is great, like Girlboss, Ruth is a terrible person, but I really like her! That's the way to do an antihero! Don't sleep with your best friends husband, unless it might get you a job!
