I didnt notice any difference in Kate other than she had abs. Her face looked the same to me.

I thought this was hysterical and entertained me as much as any episode from last season. I mean it is basically a comedic Colombo down to some of Natasha's cadences and body language. Like how the Brady Bunch movies were even more over the top in comparison to the show which was already over the top. I am happy this is back and if it went more serious and became just another whodunit procedural I would be out.

Ellie was willing to die for even a CHANCE of a cure. Joel was not willing to lose her to said chance. So he lied to her to absolve her of HER survivor's guilt IMO. He wasn't doing it because he felt guilty about anything he did.

Maybe they pulled a Jeopardy and just recorded a whole bunch of shows earlier since it has been cancelled to burn them off?

If they follow the game, this is not the last time you will see Joel/Pedro so if he was the reason for watching, keep doing so.

A Body In The Snow: The Trial of Karen Read
Unclejosh replied to DanaK's topic in Investigation Discovery
While I would never hang out at the courthouse as someone who grew up in that area and went to school with some of the family members involved (McCabes), a lot of of people have a vested interest because they know the participants AND it is about a bigger issue than just this case due to corruption and cronyism with the Canton police department. I am from the next town over which has has it's own share of police corruption issues going back to when I was a kid and there is a big case going on now regarding the grooming while she was underage and possible murder of a pregnant girl and staging it to look like a suicide by a police officer. So it isnt just about Karen but the overall system that has drawn a lot of interest. -
I thought this ep was the best one yet including the one that followed.

S50.E16: Mikey Madison / Morgan Wallen
Unclejosh replied to Galileo908's topic in Saturday Night Live
I think he is a douche most likely based on his public incidents but like the above said that was how he left the stage at every rehearsal and was never told differently. Also from reports of audience members, before the show came back on air, Lorne went on stage to talk and shake Mikey's hand and when Morgan got on stage and went over to them Lorne turned his back and walked away without any interaction with him. Seems like he was not liked or wanted and his appearance was most likely a label/network directive. Reports also said after the show he was very nice and talked to fans and was signing stuff and taking pics with kids and families. So he may be a douche overall but not sure the act of how he left was an example of it since that was how it was rehearsed. -
I am in the minority I know but I actually preferred the prior episode more then this one although I have enjoyed the whole season so far. I couldnt even make it through the original Netflix series before this one came out. I just finished Season 1 prior to the start of Born Again and am watching Season 2 in between episodes of Born again. I actually cannot wait for each new ep of Born Again where I struggle to make it through the Netflix series. I think the lack of Foggy and Karen are a big part of it. They just bring down every episode so far. I like both actors but man they are bummers and annoying. Like I said I am probably in the minority but I for one am very happy for this new version because I am actually enjoying Daredevil again.

Yeah he basically wants no ties to anything. Most of the books have him walking into a town and meeting someone or some cop being a dick if I recall. He goes to a salvation army or thrift store and buys clothes and throws the old ones out.

Joe lies!

Bummer for fans. I enjoyed it at the beginning but once they changed the format to its current one, it lost me. Did she really want to return or was it failing so that was a saving face quote?

I actually enjoyed this episode more than Episode 6. I find Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin portrayal tedious and one of the big reasons I never finished season 1 of Daredevil on Netflix until recently. The less he is on the screen the more I enjoy the episode.

They all danced better than me so...

Not sure how up on bundles people are but I got the original Disney Hulu (no ads) and ESPN+ bundle. In looking at my bills I am paying $19.98 and $12.00 (for some reason they come out on different days). Is there a better bundle out there for those 3 services that would be less than the total $31.98 per month I am paying now?

This may be way too nerdy but did anyone notice that the 2nd sword that fell, the one behind Teen was the Conan Sword? Or an oddly similar one at least.

I stopped watching due to the changes. Just not what I am looking for.

This really felt like a series finale. -
I still can't get through Season 1. It is just so boring in comparison to the other Marvel shows IMO. I just re-watched Jessica Jones season 1 and loved it again. Went back to the last ep of DD Season 1 that I made it through from prior 10 times trying to watch it which is episode 7. I made it to episode 9 and lost interest again. I don't know that I will be able to watch the rest. I also don't think Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin is nearly as good as most apparently do. DD is my least favorite of all the shows, for some reason I just cannot connect to it. But hoping Born Again holds my interest better.

I have stopped watching full shows. I dont like the changes personally. I will check out clips on YT every once and a while but it just isnt as fun as it was. Maybe i am too old and used to the original format.

Well Zendaya is pretty tall, see her compared to Tom Holland. Shorter actors lie about being taller and taller ones will shave inches off because they will be disqualified from rolls due to framing issues compared to their costars. If someone is listed over 6'4, they could be even taller in real life. Athletes do this all the time as well. Most of the time the heights for basketball players is not accurate. The only time Charles Barkley hit 6'6 for example is when he jumped or was on a step. For a more recent example Kevin Durant is often listed as 7FT or 6'11 but he is really under 6'10. There have been some reports that up to 40% of athletes lie about their heights and weights, mostly at the direction of agents, coaches, owners for marketing reasons. People are obsessed with heights for some reason. Everyone lies about it famous or not. Guys lie about being taller and women often lie saying they are shorter than they are in real life. My daughter is like 5'11 but she tells people she is 5'9 and slouches a lot. She hates being tall. As for Dune, I never thought about gender or fluidity at all when watching the movie as Paul is presented as male and Chani is presented as female but maybe I am not observant enough. Wouldn't be the first time I missed something. lol. Cheers!
