It’s allowed but not encouraged…they are expected to have as many children as possible. Also…although Kailani, Corey, and Armando were raised in the Mormon church, I do not believe any of the three still consider themselves to be that religion any more. Kailani was likely ex-communicated for having a baby out of wedlock, and Corey ex-communicated for premarital sex. Armando was almost certainly ex-communicated for being in a gay relationship, and Steven should be on the church’s chopping block very, very soon after tonight’s revelations. Active Mormons are regularly interviewed by their leaders to make sure they are following church doctrines and their “sins” have been exposed on tv. I know most of Corey’s family are still active Mormons, I suspect Kailani’s family are not…and I have no idea as far as Armondo’s relatives. Mormon missionaries are sent to Samoa and Mexico as well as most other countries so you find converts in many foreign locations.
