  1. Sometimes, Dateline's way of presenting stuff is confusing. First we get they have a wonderful marriage and she was pregnant with a second child, and they were moving to Minnesota so she could be a real Mom, and not deploy anymore. Then we get the real story. Where was this woman's brain about her personal life, why didn't she use the same brain she used to be a commander? Why stay married to a guy that was cheating while you were gone, is still cheating, got an 18 year old pregnant, and is partying with a bunch of teenagers? Why get pregnant a second time when you knew all that was going on before you even got home from deployment? She would have given her soldiers very different advice if they had come to her with similar situations in their personal lives, or her friends in thiers. I felt so sorry for Tristan, Even 15 years later, he seems abandoned, as if he felt unloved by his aunt. There was no explanation of what happened to Aprils' pregnancy, and subsequent child. Like others, I fail to understand six people who sat there and openly discussed KILLING someone, a pregnant Army Captain... because some guy who basically bought them beer asked them too.
  2. Well, wow, Donald Trump can read from a teleprompter and hit all the talking points that Jewish people want to hear. I walked in the room, turned on the TV in the middle of Kasichs' speech - where there was lots of rousing applause because he was actually saying real stuff. Trump got very little applause, but no one seems to notice that. Cruz got medium applause. I did not hear H. Clintons' speech.
  3. Please someone explain why we are still watching this? The only people that I even like are the non-hijab wearing sister, and Caleb. Yes, I know most people don't like him, but he actually seems more honest about himself than the rest of them. I have decided the reason he went to the bank at the end of last season is that he has info about Shelby's con-artist 'sister' in the deposit box. Alex is like Harry Potter was... she thinks she is the only person capable of doing anything, and therefore, will never involve 'the adults', or in this case, her superiors. These FBI agents remind me of the ones on The Following, and I anticipate the same result. I also cannot believe that 3/4 of the recruits would have passed a real background check.
  4. What I found unbelievable about the mask-maker is how he was willing to save the fighter at the end by telling Nick what ceremony was needed. That didn't jive with taking the other Vesens' face off, and not explaining the contract to the fighter in the first place. had he told him why he shouldn't wear the mask outside of the ring, then the fighter wouldn't have killed anyone. Nick was turned off, not by Juliette being a hexenbiest per se, but more by her personality change. She became increasingly erratic and mad at the world.... and then tried to kill him. That was all her.
  5. I like the background story, and some of the 'daily life of an addict' scenes where it's shown how much they've lost to their addiction. I usually half watch during the obligatory 'family dinner with the addict' scenes, and the pre-intervention scenes. I may watch the pre-intervention if I think the interventionist is going to read a relative or friend the riot act for their own behavior. I don't like to watch the chase scenes where the addict runs from the intervention and people go drag them back in. I don't like following the addict to the motel or house where they are going to turn tricks to earn drug money, or into the 'hood' where they are buying the addiction product. I especially watch the intrervention if I think they will offer an addicts' significant other treatment also. I have a hard time watching the ones where the parent is the one that got the child addicted, or parties with them. edited to remove gibberish,
  6. Like others, I often feel that certain episodes of Intervention should be required viewing for 8th grade/high school classes. This is one of them. I never knew what meth induced psychosis was until I saw this episode. Veronica - please keep your chin up, and remember to take care of yourself. I was very impressed with your knowledge and how well you spoke during this episode. I pray that everything works out well for Sierra, and that she gets up every time she falls and tries again. As you know, it sometimes takes several tries.
  7. Glad tai didn't play his idol, but wish he hadn't told anyone about it. Peter has the stereotypical arrogance and terrible beside manner of a surgeon, which he is not.
  8. I doubt they adopt. She's likely to be pregnant soon. She's probably going to do research so that there is subject matter for their show. Which I refuse to watch because 1. they are boring 2, they are insufferable judgemental holier than thou people.
  9. I wondered when Avery's attempt to falsely hold on to Raven was going to come back to haunt her. If I remember correctly, Avery admitted to DB that if she had spoken she would have had to tell the truth, which would have set Raven free. They should have just let Raven graduate and offered her a job. Lil Bow Wow can leave as far as I am concerned. Not for the actions in today's episode - because being freed for an illegal search is displaying a really important right and protection all of us have. I want the character to leave, because the character doesn't do anything for me. This show keeps talking down to us, and it is ridiculus.
  10. In regards to Peter - yes, he's a doctor in USA - not the country they are filming in. He's a contestant. There are doctors there who have been cleared to practice on the set, island, whatever you want to call it. Further more, Dr. Joe? wasn't doing the actual IV... that's the medic or nurses job. If they had thought they needed to drag Peter from under the umbrella that they probably had ordered him to sit under, they would have. I am sure that there was activity occurring that we did not see, and that missed footage probably explains why people were in the spots they were in and doing wht they were doing while Caleb was being attended to. I think these medics and doctors need to proactively stop challenges for water breaks and medical checks, not just react to someone collapsing. The minute Debbie went down, the challenge should have stopped, to be restarted after she was checked. There should have been enforced water and shade breaks at that time.
  11. They had to go there with Adalind, didn't they? Last episode was bad enough, but now 'she's back'. I'm assuming sex with a Grimm brought her powers back, since a Grimm's blood took them away at least once. Renard will be tempted to take Black Claw's offer. We've seen in the past that his greatest desire is to be a leader, a 'Royal'. Hopefully he can resist temptation. Loved Wu's reaction to Renards' take-down of the bad guy. Was that the first time he had seen Renard in full Vesen mode? Why are the European Vesen so much tougher than the USA ones in that they are perfectly happy to hunt a Grimm?
  12. Here's hoping the Jason/Scot team gets split up, and that they each end up on the bottom of a team, and Cyndey refuses to work with them. Alecia was annoying, and not overly bright, and talkative. That doesn't give Jason and Scot the right to treat her like they did. They say you know someone's real values by the way they treat the waitress or the janitor. etc. Jason and Scot showed their true values, and if I were their wives/daughters, I would be very ashamed. However, social media fans should save their hate for the two guys in question. This happened the last time it was beauty vs brawn vs brains, right?
  13. I think this show needs to be called something else and have a slower premise. Match the couples up, pronounce them engaged. Move them in to a 2 bedroom place, tell them they have 3 months to decide to get married or not. Finale will be the wedding day for those who say yes. The couples can decide separate bedrooms, or one bedroom, and that can change in weekly decisions. Does anyone else think the reunion show was changed because of the season 2 fiasco? Wasn't there issues backstage with season 2? I'm guessing Ashley couldn't be in the same room with David because she thought she would get confronted about her family's social media presence? The question she objected to from Pepper was the question regarding the fact that she never gave David one single chance after the first 5 minutes she saw him.
  14. This was definitely filmed in the summer/fall. The visit with her brother was 60 days into treatment, but that doesn't necessarily correlate to the date she last drank, or used. If she truly has bi-polar disorder, she will have ups and downs. Manic episodes will be difficult for her to stay sober thru, just because of the nature of a manic episode. Poor impulse control is one of the symptoms of a manic episode.
  15. It was for me 8 months ago.... but they have only recently begun actually discussing the fact that he has baggage, lots of it. All of this should have been brought up by the investigative reporters months ago. Instead, they courted his favor, and held him up on a pedestal. and acted as if they were best buddies.
  16. The biggest problem, Medicine Crow, is that the people who support Trump don't watch the debates, nor the CNN talking heads. So they will never learn any of it anyway.
  17. Wow. CNN has finally decided to 'vet' Donald Trump.... about 8 months too late. Thanks a lot, CNN. You created this mess.
  18. Thank you Darklazr. I tried to use google to find out Monroe's age, but didn't find it. Of course, Nick was getting that from his driver's license, which could be faked, I suppose. Somehow, I got the impression that Monroe himself had lived in the 'old country', and that was where he terrorized the villages in his youth. I don't know why I extrapolated that to he lived in the 1800s.
  19. Did I incorrectly remember in S1 that Monroe talked about how old he was.... and it was like 150? I seem to remember him talking about all the changes he had seen over the years, and that he used to be 'rough' in the beginning, but had been mellow for decades? I must be incorrectly remembering it, because otherwise, why would his uncle have been born in 1949.
  20. I watch on A&E, so I don't have the 15 minute Jamie interviews. Thank goodness! Yes, Ashley wanted a divorce.... and we all knew that. I am disappointed that David didn't man up about a woman who hasn't given him the time of day in 6 weeks. She couldn't be honest in her 'explanation', and fell back on the social media thing. Meanwhile, her talking head interview was honest 'I don't have, never had feelings for him.. David needed her to say that, but she lies and tries to make him feel guilty. Neil is at last honestly discussing his feelings in the last day or two leading up to the decision. Sam is coming around, but I think it might be too little too late. I bet Tres wants a divorce ETA - Lynnie76, they just did David and Ashley, the rest of the episode is the few days prior to the decision.
  21. Redhead Zombie - thank you for your answer. although I do live within a day of Chicago, I hadn't thought that their school might be in one of the Hispanic neighborhoods. I should have realized that if they speak Spanish more than they do English, that they would have an accent even if they grew up here.
  22. I think this is what she has, they replayed her doctor visit where she learned she had doubled her chances of getting pregnant due to 10% weight loss. She's lost more total now, right? Total of 15 or more %? I don't bear the twins any ill will. Now they can be better examples and motivate their students. I am concerned that they as teachers don't speak English any better than they do (and yes, I know that is politically incorrect) - they were born here? or did they immigrate (in which case, they speak English better than I should complain about)?.
  23. I liked the double-weigh in concept - it freed up time in the finale for actual conversation with all the contestants. Bob was Bob, and I watched in spite of him. I like him as a trainer, not so much as a host. Stephen did look drawn, but I bet he fits right in on the BMI/ weight-to-height charts. Colby doesn't, but I don't think he ever will or could. He's 'big-boned' as we like to say. Some of the contestants worked hard at home, some much so much. Yes, Brittany, Richard, Whitney, and a couple others.... I'm talking to you. Sarah - wow!. Erin looked great - bet she is a size 10 now. Felicia didn't lose any weight nor her whiny personality at home. I hope the twins put their money to good use for their families. They did work hard.
  24. I did like the update, although my DVR cut off before Benzino and Althea's update. However, Google is my friend, and I gather they split up later? I was surprised that Ink and Sarah stayed together, so that update made me feel I wasn't quite as clueless as I thought. I was actually glad to see Sundae and Cedric's update. Hope it works. There's nothing to say about Sugar Bear, and Mama June. Hope the money helped them take care of the kids. Sean and Catherine - I hope they enjoyed their money, too. Next time, go get a real life. Your 15 minutes of fame is over. I think adding Judge whatever her name is to this actually made things worse.
  25. I was confounded by Emily's reasoning and whining to Mitch.... until I realized the following: Emily was not offended FOR Mitch because her friend questioned his sexuality. She was offended AT him. She believed her friend was correct and she thinks (or at least was acting as if) he married her while in the closet. I don't think Mitch is gay, he's just not a cowboy type. The world has all kinds of people, and there is someone for Mitch out there, he seems a really nice guy. If Mitch were gay, the only thing wrong about that would have been getting married to a woman under false pretenses. I also cannot figure out what the *&() she thought was okay with refusing to answer questions like that on-camera. It's a simple question, answer it. She acts all coy ' I answered that off-camera, I am not answering it on-camera'. Christina is a little girl in a woman's body. She's all about romance, but not interested in the day to day aspects of married life. She's not going to be a helpmate when life hands them a curveball. I didn't get a 'serial killer' vibe from John. I got a confirmed bachelor vibe. I am not surprised he got cold feet - I am surprised more of them don't get cold feet.
