  1. Sheldon getting punched AND donut holes. Can it get any better for Missy Cooper?
  2. Understand why 2020 Charles stayed. He came to the realization that 1903 Charles was a complete toolbag. His fiancé was happier without him, and his hated arch rival turned out to be a really great guy. Kinda reminded me of the Dallas episode back in the day where JR realized everyone's lives would have been better had he never been born.
  3. Did a lot of channel flipping during Christmas in Vienna, so missed a lot of the movie, but did see where they went full Von Trapp Family Singers at the end. Started to wonder if they were gonna have to make a quick get-away from the Nazis.
  4. This interview with Young Sheldon co-creator and executive producer Steve Molaro answers the Which Leonard? question: https://www.etonline.com/young-sheldon-season-4-premiere-reveals-the-name-of-sheldon-amys-baby-boy-get-the-big-bang-details
  5. Really enjoyed The Twelfth Date, too. Actually watched the whole movie. Rarely make it much past 20 minutes with most Hallmark movies. Appreciated that before the closing kiss, after five days of interactions, the couple proclaimed their like for each other. Also appreciated the female lead's comment about her heavily Yule-themed office ... something to the effect that she only decorates it like that during the Christmas season, because if she left it like that all year long, it wouldn't be special anymore. Something Hallmark might consider with their twelve months of Christmas movies schedule.
  6. Regarding Follow Me to Daisy Hills - while appreciating the recognition given to the very real quality of the Writers' Workshop at the school (https://writersworkshop.uiowa.edu) ... it is the University of Iowa, not Iowa University. Probably makes no difference to anyone but me, but it was like nails on a blackboard every time someone said it. Just needed to get that off my chest. 🤣😅
  7. Thank you, Schlong of Healing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Things you never thought you'd say, but mean sincerely for $2,000, Alex.)
  8. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This has been an awful week, and in 2020, that's saying quite a lot. My city was nearly blown off the map by a Category 2 hurricane - and I live in freakin' Iowa. (Derecho is the term for an inland hurricane. Like all the other words/phrases that are now part of our vocabulary, it is unwanted knowledge.) Watching these videos and reading these comments/remembering the glory days of the TWOP thread - (dear Lord, Schlong of Healing!!!) - well, it's been wonderful!!!! If someone has the link to the Wayback Machine's Little House thread, and it's OK to share it, I would be forever grateful!!
  9. One of the best Carl Reiner moment's from the show. From the episode "I'm No Henry Walden":
  10. First in a series of videos showing the aftermath of Dante's shooting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0ZRljBNHic
  11. Zaldamo!! Still miss the TWOP Little House thread. Inspired, snark-filled, hysterical genius. Truly some of the funniest stuff I've read anywhere. Will never forget a summer morning many years ago back when I was a baby teacher. WGN and TBS (neighbors on the dial) both had Little House reruns on, TBS starting 5 minutes after the hour. Never watched Little House during its first run, and really never got into the books as a kid, but decided that day I could use a dose of some wholesome family entertainment. The WGN episode that morning - Mary's baby goes up in smoke. Thought that was depressing, so switched to TBS ... for the Sylvia episode. Remember thinking, "Yipes! This is crazy!!" Lucille Tarlek said it best on WKRP in Cincinnati: Oh, well... The Little House in the Prairie, that's a fine, wholesome show. It's about blind children out west, and every week they have a fire, or someone gets an incurable disease. We enjoy it very much!
  12. Rough being kid sitting on the wrong side of Elizabeth's classroom. No field trip for you!
  13. Rules for Teachers - 1915 https://laulima.hawaii.edu/access/content/user/jjudd/edef290/edef_assignments/standard_HTSB_10_learning_community/assignment_HTSB_10_case_study/learning_resources_case_study/teacherrules.pdf Can't imagine a school board being pleased with a young teacher taking an overnight trip with a male companion. Things are different in Hope Valley, of course. 🙂
  14. "Hell hath no fury like a woman sustained."
  15. Got the chicken pox when I was 24. Not fun - sicker than a dog and pox everywhere (and I mean EVERYWHERE!!) The Hope Valley Pox apparently only results in scratchy arms and dramatic, but easily manageable, fevers ... and maybe increased fertility??????? What an amazing place to live! 😄😄
  16. The couple from my state had a hometown wedding ceremony/reception in November, with 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, two flower girls, and a ring bearer. She wore the same dress, with a lace top/sleeves added. Not sure which ceremony made it "official."
  17. And, in next week's previews, it appears Rosemary may have contracted the Corona virus.
  18. Thought it was interesting that Adult Sheldon's voiceover came before the scene with Dr. Sturgis. We have yet to hear his reflections upon his relationship with the good doc.
  19. The last two episodes have been significantly better than the initial ones. Hope this trend will continue.
  20. I REALLY want to like this show, but Carol seems to embody some of the most irritating qualities of Debra Barone and Frankie Heck with few of the more redeeming ones evident - so far.
