  1. In the New York Times article about a year ago, Syngin said that his end goal for being on the show was that someone would offer them a camper or land. There's been speculation that the producers give them a bad edit, because they didn't appreciate Tania and Syngin's trying to outplay them.
  2. She said, "This is the one I throw away," about the bouquet to toss. I didn't see or pay attention to Michael's boutonneire or Sissy's bridesmaid's bouquet. Despite all her weeping that her family won't be at the wedding, Skyla said, "You still have time to be a runaway bride," when Angela facetimed them from the venue.
  3. Every group of South Africans criticized Tania, but she never took the criticism well, and she still lacks any self-awareness. At the vineyard, Syngin's sister tells her, "I didn't expect it, you know, to burst out like that," regarding the braai. Tania dismisses the remark by depersonalizing it and saying, "The emotions were high last night," as she looks down. But Syngin's mother doesn't let go. She says, "I felt actually a bit hurt by it," and looks directly at Tania. To apologize without an apology, Tania concedes that she has "some control issues and such," but after Syngin's parents defend how carefree he is, Tania faults his inexperience with responsibility. She also plays with her hair whenever someone is addressing her behavior. Then, when she meets with the bruhs, the first thing they tell her is that they never thought that she and Syngin would work out. She pulls her hair back. They're visibly perturbed when she claims that Syngin displayed so many red flags in the beginning and are amazed about it in the talking head. They keep on exchanging looks when she tries to defend herself and actually accuse her of coming out that night to argue. She again deflects by arguing more aggressively with Syngin, who falls back on his pmce carefree life with no responsibilities. In their final talking heads, the bruhs predict doom for the relationship, and Tania complains that too many people tell her to be patient and less controlling. The bruhs still intensely dislike her from her impromptu two-month stay (while their rent remained past-due) and Syngin's update a few nights earlier, and Syngin's family deepened their disdain for her after experiencing her on this trip. And, the producers must truly dislike her, which is why they freely show these dynamics and everyone's disdain. However, everyone too readily defends Syngin as a free spirit. After all, Tania demanded that she is a free-spirit, too. They're both just grifters.
  4. 23 minutes in for a behind-the-scenes moment that was Darcey's projecting her need for male (preferably foreign) attention upon her daughter Aspen. A group of Russian boys, like its own paparazzi, according to Darcey, skated around them.
  5. Did this episode air last night? Or, is it behind-the-scenes? I watched this last night, but it's so boring that nothing about it registers with me.
  6. Libby was styling blocky-head Eleanor's hair the same way as she wore this week: The Pebbles Flintstone.
  7. David is even more bitter than Ash. He (David) gets away with it, because he's so delusional.
  8. David fit a large, full-sized brush and atomizer in that coat. It's like the ones that they'd sell fake Rolexes from.
  9. Ash's revisionist history makes him sound reasonable and considerate, while Avery obviously can't understand what she hears and twists it into insanity.
  10. Erika: How'd you sleep? Stephanie: At the opposite side of the bed, with one foot on the floor.
  11. Does Florian expect a bigger modeling career in Middleton, CT, than LA?
  12. It's a marriage agency. Yet, David failed 150+ times.
  13. David's such a putz. The private investigator and translator showed up, because they got paid. Maybe that's the case with Lana?
  14. Ed the Misogynist: Women remember everything, and they know when to bring it up. Maybe he should reflect on his behavior.
  15. Erika's the best participant on this show, because she's authentic, and she can honestly laugh at herself. (Unlike, let's say, Big Ed or Wig.)
  16. And he has one empty glass vase in that entire credenza-bookshelf. Maybe he's downsizing for the RV.
  17. David's lonely kitchen/dining room table and its one chair is more interesting than he is.
  18. Ash tries too hard. And his body looks really weird on that couch - the overdeveloped chest with the skinny legs.
  19. I'm ready. The only thing that makes this watchable is this live chat.
  20. This! Yet, Kalani's perception is completely different, and the therapy session seemed unsatisfying. When Kalani eats a pancake and discusses therapy with her mother, she says that she is not one to be put into place, after she projects that Asuelo thinks Americans have it backward and would figure out how to put her in place. In the therapy session, she tells the counselor that, during their engagement, she told Asuelo that she hoped that they could be equals, and he agreed to it. The counselor concludes that Kalani comes from a culture that is egalitarian, where the husband and the wife share the responsibilities, where Asuelo comes from a paternalistic culture. Also, at the session, Kalani frames their problem as Asuelo's treating her like she is his property. Asuelo explains through the translator that Kalani crossed the line between the father-head and mother-neck of the family when Kalani told the family that they're no longer going to see them, rather than letting Asuelo decide what to do. And, in doing so, she was breaking up his family. The therapist assigns them homework to delegate household responsibilities. Kalani is already creating her exit story to tell her children ("I tried everything, even therapy."), and she declared that therapy was an ultimatum to save their marriage to Asuelo.
  21. One of the Instagram posts from Saturday is from Carmen, saying she doesn't talk to Larissa. But, within a day, she's at a hotel pool party with Larissa and Jess. Even if it were a paid appearance for Larissa and/or Jess, I doubt a sponsor would seek and pay Carmen.
  22. Why do Darcy's men buy and wear bedazzled skull clothing? Tom did it, and now we see The Bulgarian Georgi (before he takes it off).
