I started listening to my first podcast last week to avoid the world. I went with a true crime podcast. Serial: Season One. Positively captivating. Problem is, instead of laying in bed every night thinking about how the world is coming to an end, I've just traded it with laying in bed wide awake going over all of the evidence and facts of the case trying to determine what I think happened. Last night I watched the latest Bridget Jones movie with a double shot of rum & coke.

I have a seasonal job that I am soon to return to where I work with a woman who is extremely patriotic about Canada and also loves Donald Trump. I have spent the last few weeks wondering if her head has exploded.

+ Despite serving as Team Canada's honorary captain during the recent 4 Nations hockey tournament, he openly supported the American team by entering the rink through the U.S.'s bench while also giving them a thumbs up.
