It was cute how concerned Delia and Forrest were about whether they were or were they not "microagressing". Shannon is just so adorable β€οΈ . They did a great job with the casting, I love all of her scenes together with Wade. I just melted when she offered to make the key lime pie for Wade π.

I was surprised to see Chef Rudy again, since he was always more connected to Christy's storylines, it is interesting the showrunners decided to keep the character around. It was wonderful to see Bonnie so in love, and working well with Adam. If you think about it, we did watch their relationship go through many hurdles and evolve a lot. About Andy and Jill...it kinda sucks. It's now the second time within the show that Andy completely ditches Jill over a small mistake, what a flake. I understand this was probably written this way because the actor was going to have another job, but do you really want commit to someone who abandons you so easily? I know I wouldn't.

The variety article mentions it has not been doing good enough in ratings last season, so that is probably the reason.

Only 11 episodes left..that is barely anything at all. If it was going to be like this, they could have at least given us a good, fully fleshed out 22 episode final season. I am sad and my day is ruined.

The trailer for the final season is out. It looks so good.

I was wondering if they used a stuntman for that scene with all the jumps, that was very impressive but definitely not easy to do. Next episode is on Jan 13th. So far away π

Original air date: 2020. December 2. This is also the winter finale of the season.

You have to give it to her, Gemma did look incredible on their night out. That supportive listening exercise seemed really good. I might try it someday.

That would be just like Katie falling for Greg during her own college days. Same scenario. Like when Oliver was dating Gina Tascadero (?) from Norwalk and Katie made the joke how Oliver fell for her own mother. If they go down that route, then I love how the show creates these parallel lines between the lives of the parents and their children. That sort of thing happens in real life too.

It's frustrating that Anna-Kat is so heavily featured in every episode of this season, since the new actress just sucks. I want to get used to her, but she is completely awful. Most of the time she says a line, you can see that she is pretending.

It was predictable that only Marty was going to eat the pepper, so it was nice when Malcolm eventually joined him. It was also pretty obvious that Dave's political opponent was going to steal Calvin's ideas. However, I liked how Calvin turned it around and showed that Isaiah really didn't know what he was talking about. And the "We're all from Earth" joke was pretty funny π . I was surprised that Dave did not win the election. I suppose they don't want to change up the base dynamic of the show too much, since it wouldn't be maintainable if Dave had a job and left the house often. In that case he would have friends other than Calvin and he wouldn't be obsessed with being Calvin's friend, so the show wouldn't really work anymore.

Reading this comment is a surprise. I never saw the actress before, but her character stood out to me because her speaking voice is so adorable. I never heard someone talk like that before. β€οΈ

It was renewed for season 2 π Also, was it ever established who is the older sibling, Pilar or Victor? It bothers me that I can't figure it out.

No, she was not. But I wish she was. This episode was so much fun. I could watch an entire show about Dina being the boss. I wonder if she will be gentler with Glenn after this episode now that she has walked a mile in his shoes. Also, Garrett's "I donβt bail on work, I half-ass it. Thereβs a difference." line was strangely relatable.

Rob seems like a better character than Kate Micucci's character was, so If Bonnie has to sponsor someone, well, better him than her. I guess he will be a recurring character from now on.

Watching Grace's gradual transformation into a weeaboo is just glorious. I pray to God she will get green highlights π Shannon continues to be charming. Her constant oversharing is so adorable.

Greg talking about it being his pleasure if Tripp was going to get pleasure with his daughter was kinda funny but otherwise eh, not their strongest episode. They needed to flesh out the Oliver - Cooper conflict more, it remained very surface level and the idea of Cooper tagging along with Oliver should have occurred to them sooner, it's not exactly an out there idea.

Abishola's proposal to Bob was so sweet β€οΈ And Christina's meltdown about being alone was hilarious π I thought it was a good episode. I don't quite how are they going to pull off going to Nigeria though. Will COVID become a thing in this show and it will prevent them from flying there? Abishola's ex husband will be sure to bring some drama.

They exaggerated to make a point. From what I have gathered from interviews, it seems like the rest of the season will not be so heavy. It's back to business as usual from Ep 2.
