  1. I hope Christie returns in the finale as a big shot sophisticated lawyer.
  2. I hear you. I think it's important to keep in mind that humor is extremely subjective, that is why it's hard to come up with a comedy that is generally acclaimed, it is very hard to please everyone. & It's okay, we can't all love the same things.
  3. Um, speak for yourself! Those scenes with Chloe mistreating Maria were downright hilarious. I have rewatched them all of them multiple times because they are awesome. Like when she told Maria to hit the muffin out of Katy's hand? Gold.
  4. Let's keep in mind that the show runners didn't want Christy to leave...she let them know last minute that she is out. They are doing the best that they can and tbh this is still my favorite show on the air I will be super depressed if it ends.
  5. A dead spouse is even worse. After all, the thought is always there: if Jill was still alive, Wade wouldn't want to be with Shannon. And everybody knows it.
  6. Haha it was pretty funny when Kat thought the guy at the ice cream place wanted to guess her weight πŸ˜„ Overall this was a really sweet episode, I loved the mature talk Kat and her crush had towards the end.
  7. Um...that was not nothing. Calling the current lover by an Ex's name is a huge deal (think of Ross calling Emily Rachel during their wedding ceremony in Friends), especially when it's your dead wife the new girlfriend can never really live up to. They are obviously building up to something with the Jill-related friction like it happened 2 episodes ago as well with the apron and keeping the vanilla in the fridge. I'm curious to see where it will go.
  8. So much to say about this one....I liked that the show acknowledged that this is not the first time Adam made a big ticket purchase without consulting Bonnie. It's not really okay...however, the situation did lead to some good lines, like the one about escaping to the environment while also destroying it. And oh, poor Jill. Her reaction is completely understandable. The show made a point of showing that the members of the group are not good with change, like when the menu of the café changed and they could not handle it. Dentists are scary enough, imagine a good one ditching you like that. It was cute when she asked if she could travel with him and his wife. The final scene was very cute when she was so excited to go back and see him again ❀️ .
  9. Of course Marcus is a flat eather.... Also, Colton Dunn (the actor playing Garrett) wrote the monologue where Jonah says nice things about Garrett. I'd like to think Colton enjoyed making Ben Feldman say those things.
  10. Why did Daphne's marriage "set the standard" and "influence the prospects" of the rest of her (I'm assuming only female?) siblings? Why does it matter who she marries when establishing the value of her 3 sisters?
  11. I loved that Katy could get Tammi to do the break-in simply by telling her to "be cool". Hilarious πŸ˜„ It was sweet how supportive Oliver was all through the episode towards Cooper ❀️ . Their friendship is adorable.
  12. I have to say, the actress playing that nurse did real good. She was a delight. I like that Calvin and Tina are so into each other as seen in that last scene. It has been the part of different running gags since season 1 and it's always funny.
  13. Maybe now that she is studying something she is actually interested in? (psychology). That might be an explanation...
  14. Christina looked so pretty with that Nigerian styled head piece on her ❀️ Also, wow. Douglas's dancing to that "Work it, girl" song was so hot. It did things to me.
  15. I thought that was a good and necessary comment. How old is Jonah, around 34? He is not young by any means, and yet what did he make of his life? Nothing. No qualifications, no valuable work experience. All he is good at is retail (and even that is questionable, he can't even work with minors for the next 6 weeks). He likes to brag about "doing a year of business school" but we had an episode that demonstrated how worthless that is. His one hope for a better life was getting with Amy.
  16. This was the best one in a while. I liked how Kat kept inadvertently messing with that one girl in the Gym, that was really funny πŸ˜„ .
  17. Watching the opening scene with Grace getting stuck in traffic was painful...everyone loses in that situation. Poor her 😞 In contrast, I loved the scene where Michelle tried to help her. Grace did well under her guidance, and it was nice of Michelle to try to impart her with more important knowledge for later down the line. She is so nurturing ❀️ .
  18. Tony calling Sandra "mom" is so precious ❀️ Also, can the show give Jonah a win please?
  19. I loved the opening scene, when Greg mentioned having a cold one and watching the game in peace. Katy's assumption about sports and beer was fair, but I love how they took it into a completely different direction and it made sense for Greg's character πŸ˜„ . And the way they laughed about it together was so cute. These moments that demonstrate them working well together as a couple are so precious ❀️ .
  20. If you liked this, you will love season 2. It will be based on the second book of the book series, which is universally acknowledged to be the best one.
  21. While I love Shannon, I am sure she is not the one Wade will end up with. The more we get to know her, the more we find out that she is kind of a mess. She doesn't gel well with Wade or the rest of the group. There were hints of this with her attitude towards consuming alcohol vs. everyone else's, and that lobster story that made the others think of her as a weirdo, plus the husband living situation. Wade keeps overlooking everything because they had that meet cute moment in last season's finale and he is infatuated with her. But I think (if the show doesn't get cancelled/ gets to tell it's story) he would realize that he makes too many compromises in the relationships and even though he may like her, they are not a good fit, or some version of that. And then he would reenter the dating pool.
  22. Dina Fox, Glenn Sturgis, Amy Sosa, Jonah Simms, Mateo Liwanag.
