  1. I was entertained by Nick during Andi's season and had no issue with his behavior at ATFR. However, knowing how disliked he became by his fellow bachelors who he had been with from day one, and now coming into this group who've bonded for four weeks and don't want any more competition...wtf? Me thinks he's had too much of the Fame Kool-Aid. What happened to the fluffy entertainment that was TB?
  2. I came into this spoiled too, and although there are a few guys I'd like to continue to watch, it just seems like it'll be a huge waste of time and not much fun. Instead, I should get out to enjoy local open mic Monday nights, maybe meet a bachelor of my own. lol I get a sort of "trained monkeys" vibe too. These group dates aren't thrilling most of the men, and I don't blame them for being less than enthused at what they're having to do for Kaitlyn's entertainment. Can't believe I want BIP to hurry along. Ha!
  3. Looks like I have time freed up on Monday nights now, as I don't think I can continue with this show. I didn't watch the last ten minutes, and the only reason I made it that far was because I wanted to see what they did with Nick...but the way that was played out cast a pall over the episode. Even what would've been a typically romantic date (the museum and helicopter ride around NYC at night with Jared) was tarnished. Too much of the ep, for me, was unpleasant and uncomfortable. What happened to the cheesy romance elements, which are imo more entertaining than all this over-dramatic angsty shit. The writing has zero believability, and is dripping with testosterone. So many guys walking around wanting to punch something or someone--how romantic! :P
  4. Ben H. was appealing tonight. I've noticed him every episode, so I'm interested in how they'll continue to edit him.
  5. Ben Z. should've had that hot tub rose pinned to his Speedo.
  6. I did not enjoy any of the Clint and JJ storyline. I'd even exchange them and have Tony "I stepped away from my business, my dog and my bonsai trees for this" back for a week instead. I don't know any "healers" who drop so many f-bombs. And is there a difference between "I'm not a quitter, I'm walking away"? Bye, Tony, you were weirdly entertaining compared to some of these other bozos.
  7. "Former Investment Banker" reads better than "Between Jobs And Living With Parents" I think many of us have become cynical of the occupation tags assigned. After a half-second of being impressed with Clint's "Architectural Engineer" descriptor, I was pondering the possibilities...it could be designing and building dog houses (not that there's anything wrong with that--dogs need nice, functional spaces too). :) Obviously I'm not interested enough now in these men to search online for background. I get skeptical because, if you happen to have a great career rolling along, I question why you'd consider it a good move to interrupt it to appear on a cheesy show and risk your reputation.
  8. The show should tone down scripting "I can see my husband/wife in the room" multiple times within the first episodes. Such silliness.
  9. JJ is quite the loathsome asshat. I was hoping Kaitlyn instead overheard him, being the opposite of what she said she wanted from him (sensitivity) and in a most.dramatic.twist.ever, TB pulls the rose OFF the lapel and sends him on his way before the ceremony. (Has that been done before?) But leighdear brings up the potential entertainment of seeing him lock horns with Nick, so I'm torn about JJ sticking around. Boxing holds absolutely no appeal to me. Brain injury of any severity is no joke. I hope Jared doesn't suffer the consequence of a stupid display of "manliness" on this ridiculous "reality" show. (As usual, I find myself questioning why I watch said show.)
  10. At the beginning of this episode I said a few times, who's that, he's kind of good-looking...they didn't look familiar to me from last week...and apparently they're not showing their names often enough because I can't identify half of them, and we're giving them nicknames to help keep track. haha
  11. I will miss Len. And the dancing shark and lobsters. :)
  12. I'll bet Britt wished she had taken her gift pack of tissues along for the limo ride to the hotel. heh
  13. Dave Letterman maneuvered a cupcake mobile around his stage bumper car-style a while back.
  14. Guys who have a decent work and social life wouldn't be particularly compelled to take time out of said good life to appear the fool on this shit-show, so you get a high percentage who want to market themselves (singers, actors, vintners, pantsapreneurs...) or are between jobs (Unemployed, with a capital U) or who can take a sabbatical from real life to play make believe and be edited to appear a shadow of your actual self in front of millions in perpetuity (more or less). Or something like that. I think I've gotten to the point that juvenile 20/30 somethings annoy much more than entertain. heh
  15. I still don't like Britt.
  16. It wasn't an OTT finals, but I enjoyed it. Except for the poor time management that left no time for any words from Rumer and Val after their freestyle. I'd like them to win. Riker's a close second.
  17. I knew ahead of time that AI was going to bleed into the start of a show I watch at 10pm, so I was resigned to miss the coronation. I still watch commercial tv sometimes, so it ticks me off that shows can't willfully keep within their hour. What's this 10:06pm b.s., you had two full hours. Now back to my other show...
  18. AU wimpy Hook was painful to watch. Enjoyed Henry kicking some ass as needed. Of course Emma finally squeaks out an ILY to Killian only to get disappeared seconds later. Forget Regina--poor Killian can't get a love break lately (a quick tumble onto the bed is but a tease). Looking forward to Merlin and Dark Emma, AND not hearing "happy ending" for a while.
  19. I liked this episode except I would be more satisfied with this being the last episode ever if Henry had spent a few moments giving Jo the cliff notes version of his "long story" so I could see her reaction to finally getting the low-down on this odd man who intrigues her. Then if they did continue production they could take it from there. But instead we get a cliffhanger with indefinite resolution?
  20. Well, the finale looks more interesting, anyway. Here's to my hopes not being dashed...(again)... I did like the scene with Emma taking shots of Killian's rum while having a nice chat, so I suppose that means it's the last we'll see of any sweet Captain Swan, ha
  21. Harry didn't bring the gravy to his own performance; color me disappointed, though the dullness of it fit right in with the way this meh of a season has gone. Blinged-out pajama party is all I could think of upon seeing JLo's outfit and messy pony. Rayvon seems to do the same thing every week and I'm bored. And I don't think it's a good thing that he's set a record for most saves from the brink of elimination, it means you're not exciting enough to get lots more people to vote for you. I'm fine with Clark standing up for what he wants to convey to the AI audience, but it makes me wonder what his goal was for coming on this type of show if he won't make compromises as a way to get to the greater reward (if being a big-name entertainer with backing is end game, as opposed to just gaining exposure and returning to your own thing). Busking on the street corner, you can do whatever you want...being signed to a label, not so much--especially in the beginning.
  22. That sounds like quite a jam-packed hour of sparkle. Or two-thirds, after you factor in commercial breaks.
  23. Word Up for Robert and Kym's AT was so distracting I had the volume one click above mute. Cool slow-motion visual effect of the subway during Nastia and Sasha's dance <<< and Derek. Loved Willow's long, straight hair and the way it swished around during her salsa dance-off. :)
  24. We're in that crappy part of each season when the initial tide of good-will toward the weaker dancers is turning, when more technically proficient or entertaining dancers get the unceremonious boot. I enjoyed Willow and Mark's partnering and creative performances, sad that they had to be cut this soon!
  25. Seems the only things I like about this show are Hook and the changing animation under the OUAT title near the show open...this week was the yellow Bug, last week was running dalmatians, etc...otherwise, I'm not liking the direction of many of the characters and how so much doesn't make sense. But I keep tuning in, wtf.
