E2 - The navigation dial on the big zeppelin that Bean hijacked had - Dankmire, New Cremorrah, Dullsville, Naked City, Twinkletown, Oxnard. I liked Elfo's backstory (and the dog). The gnomes crack me up because they're even smaller than Elfo, but have weapons. Elfo's family backstory was actually nice.

I'm on E1. I liked the suave devil being put upon by Bean. (I was hoping for a robot devil easter egg.) I did like all the people Bean killed being at the wedding. I did like Jerry's existential questions in heaven.

I tend to think by the time when kids are watching a show that their parents watched when it first aired, the statute of limitations on continuity runs out; see also Doctor Who, The Simpsons, Family Guy. We all know Token was called 'Token' in 1997. No one is pretending otherwise, and we have actual evidence of that posted here. I can roll with it. Having only Stan think he was 'Token' made it funnier. It doesn't work if it was Cartman.

Gloria mentioned this in the first episode of season 3. She didn't say the cows line yet. It's interesting that they have Archie with the taxi driving second job. I wasn't around in the early 70s, but the family sitcoms in the 80s everyone only had one job. Even if there was 'drama' about the job, they always got saved by the end of the episode.

Amazon does have genre properties like Wheel of Time and Lord of Rings, and with the Expanse ending, this could have been a good fit. Clearly, having a hand in Sens8, with the lack of constraints on the streaming platform, he can excel. I know that wasn't entirely JMS, but still.

I know it's not the most popular, but I like Randy plots. I think getting the weed farm was a great narrative choice. It makes sense someone would get into the business. It was total jerk move to make the billboard, but TokenTolkien's dad certainly liked the money. The scene with the doctor tearing into Stan was brilliant. And then they doubled down with the book voice over. And tripled with Ebony and Ivory! I liked how Stan kept escalating about Tolkien and everyone knew. I hope they continue this plot of competing farms though. "Jive-ass dragon shit." Even better. Randy's weed is actually good. Just because you name a strain after Elves doesn't mean it's good.

Franny just eating pizza and watching porn. It was even better Steve said it would be like if Gargamel walked into Cheers. And even that was generous. Principal Lewis has to be Norm though. I couldn't figure out why the future thought Tuttle died and was alive again, but I realized that Jeff said it out loud before the sledding. I was disappointed that the rose made it to the future and not the pigeons and the dildo. Maybe they could only say dildo once.
