Is it bad that I hope Nadine's epidural doesn't work and she has a long painful labor ending in a C-section? Ending with a healthy baby of course.

A lot of addicts will think that because A was their drug of choice, then B will be ok. So many just trade one addiction for another. I've been sober a long time but I'm taking hard pain medicine right now. Since addiction is in my family and I caught the gene, I'm working with a sponsor while I'm on the medications to make sure I stay on the straight and narrow with them. I don't even keep them at my house. My sponsor has possession of them, we went through my Dr so she has special papers saying she's allowed to have my medications in her possession. She brings my daily dose of the hard stuff every morning and I keep 5 of the "regular" ones in case of breakthrough pain. When I use those she brings me 5 more. I also use medical marijuana because the pills kill my appetite and I have a hard time sleeping when I take the pills. My point was that from what I've seen I don't think Amber is serious about her recovery at all. She's less than 3 years clean am I right? She should still be attending some type of therapy or group. She needs somebody who she can trust, who is sober and has been for a while and somebody working some kind of program that she can call at anytime day or night if she's feeling like she wants to use. NA and AA aren't for everybody. My meetings aren't associated with them. I'm an atheist and wasn't into praying at every meeting. But there are many great groups out there. I hope she finds some kind of support. I apologize for telling you all this off topic shit you don't care about. I blame bed rest and extreme boredom.

I would much rather people think I'm the one who "did porn" than for people to think I'm the druggie who lost custody of her child, abused the child's father and went to prison. But that's just me. I used to really like Maci. After watching her 16 and Pregnant episode I thought she was really mature and had her shit together. Damn was I ever wrong. I'm disliking her more and more every time she opens her mouth. Her going on and on about Farrah while being fine with Amber just really rubs me the wrong way.

I think the only reason she didn't go off on Farrah like she does Gary is because she knows that Gary won't beat her ass. She's not sure if Farrah will or not.Abusive assholes like Amber only pick on and abuse the people they know won't fight back.

I liked Cleveland Abduction too. Knowing it was a true story made it really hard to watch though. I don't usually like Taryn Manning, she always looks dirty to me, like she hasn't showered in a couple weeks but she did a good job here.

I agree. I'm a sponsor. Not all of them are good but the same can be said of anybody doing anything. It takes time to find the right one. Sometimes you go through a few until you find the one you click with. I've been sponsoring my girl for 7 years. In our group we don't allow opposite sex sponsors. It just invites trouble. I just want to clarify something. I know this comment contradicts my comment in the episode thread about being loaded on painkillers. I've had 6 surgeries on my spine and hip in a year and a half so there's a reason I'm taking them. Just don't want any of you to think I'm full of shit.

Well damn. I wrote out a very profound, articulate, intelligent post about this bullshit and it disappeared. I'm on some heavy pain killers tonight (legally!) so it was probably gibberish but it's gone. With the way I'm feeling it's probably in the Modern Family theead. Or I imagined the whole thing. Anyway. Long story short of my post was that I hate the double standard crap. Drugs, violence and prison,ok. Porn bad. I wonder if the kids at Bentley's school ask him if his mom is the one who did drugs and was always high, and if she was the mom who beat up his dad and went to prison. Because that shit actually happened on the show. Farrah didn't do porn on TV. Despite what Maci thinks. She's so full of shit. I'm with the posters who dislike both Farrah and Maci but I judge people like that by who I would rather spend time with if I had to make the choice. I have to say I'd pick Maci. I apologize if you're reading an entirely different thread and my post talking about Maci pops up. I don't even know where the hell I am right now.

I painted the walls purple, got lavender and purple towels, rugs, everything, it's probably only to my taste but so what, it's my room. I don't think we saw a negative edit as much as a negative person. Editing doesn't put words into your mouth or show you doing horrible things you didn't really do. A few kisses and a tickle doesn't make up for the shit she's put those kids through. Poor Colin always looks so sad. He's always been Kate's whipping boy and it seems like he's the whole family's whipping boy now. Mady told Joel to do something, Colin perked up and asked if he could help him. He just got a snotty "no" in return. His smile disappeared so fast. Just from what I've seen, I think he gets the brunt of his mothers emotional abuse, and he always has.

Congratulations! That's awesome! My sober date is 12/29/95. Coming up on 20 years. Amber seems to think that because she isn't using at the moment she's fine. I often tell people that getting clean is the easy part. Staying clean in the bitch. I've said here before that Amber using the anonymity excuse is bullshit. There is a rock and roll icon that comes to the meetings I chair when the band plays the big venue in my town. He has been very public about his addictions. He gets the same anonymity as anybody. People don't rush to our meetings when the band is in town hoping to see him because nobody talks about him being here. He shares his stories like the rest of us and I have never seen anybody ask for an autograph or picture. This is a name that everybody knows and has for decades so Amber's excuse is bullshit. I see relapse in her future.

I hope its ok to start this. I noticed we have a thread for Disney movies but not for Lifetime. I mainly started it because I just watched Stockholm, Pennsylvania with Cynthia Nixon and just needed to say... What the hell was that? That was such a weird movie. It made no sense to me. I watched Cleveland Abduction last week. As horrible as is was to watch, I thought the movie itself was good. What I could see through my tears anyway. This woman is horrible. I caught part of the Sextuplets turn 3 episode today. In one scene she ripped a toy out of Colin's hand, yelled "that's not your toy, boys don't play with purple haired dolls" and threw the toy. Then at the party in the next scene Mady had been waiting in line for her turn to ride the pony, Kate jumps on the pony in front of the waiting Mady and said "too bad, I haven't had any turns yet". She then, after Mady rightfully got upset about it, told Jon to come and get his "problem child". She keeps going on and on about how exhausted she is but she does NOTHING! Bitch doesn't even fold her own laundry. The episode where the boys can't have their birthday cupcakes is on now. The way she let Hannah have hers because she "tried" to eat but didn't let the boys have their BIRTHDAY cupcakes infuriates me. To make sure I don't shoot my TV, I think I'll skip this episode. She had the kids make cupcakes in their church clothes and bitched about the mess instead of changing them because it would be a "hassle" and she didn't feel like changing them. It's not like she dressed them anyway. Jon always did.

I lost any respect I had for Maci, not that I had any to begin with, when she said that Bentley was happy he didn't have to film anymore because he hated it. So he hated it yet she forced him to do it anyway. What is BTS? I hate these damn initials.

I love this girl. I think she's the best of all the Teen Moms. She has gotten her non MTV, non Teen Mom career going. She's bought a beautiful home for herself and Aubree. She seems to have been driving the same car for a few years unlike the other girls. She also seems to be a very kind hearted sweet person. But the best thing of all is that she and her boyfriend have been together for a year now and they aren't living together or engaged and she's not pregnant again. I think Chelsea and Aubree have the best chance for a bright, happy future out of all of them.

I agree. I'm not one to ever say anything bad about anybody's looks. With that said, my best friend's sister and brother-in-law are 2 of the uh...ugliest, strange looking people I've ever seen. They are the kind of people you would do a double take when you saw them, especially him. Their daughter is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She's 16 now and absolutely gorgeous. She has gotten the astonished "THOSE are your parents" many, many times. Now I have to go mentally apologize to them for calling them ugly.

I just found this thread and I'm loving it! Laid up after surgery and am being kept from severe boredom by all of you. I just want to add my 2 cents. In my opinion Thinner was the worst Steven King movie. I really liked the book but thought the movie was terrible. Carrie and The Shining are my favorites. They are what I call "end of the bed movies", meaning I'm walking by the TV and notice one of them is on so I forget what I'm doing and sit on the end of the bed and watching it. I'm sure that makes absolutely no sense. I blame the pain killers! Thanks for the entertainment.

What I've never understood about this show is why NOBODY ever passes. If the question is "name something you can do with your armpit"* and there are 7 answers, I'm passing that question. I have never seen anybody pass. *that was an actual question on the show aa while back.

Its funny how she rags on celebrities and gets so happy to tell us the gritty details about the stupid shit they do but says nothing about this. I can't stand Wendy. And I still have a hard time believing that she's a biological female. Are there any pictures of her pregnant?

Gotta defend my girl Chelsea. She has gone to school, graduated, got her license and is established in a career that has nothing to do with MTV, Teen Mom or any of it. In my opinion, Chelsea is the best of the bunch.

That was the impression I got from that scene too, I think she meant she and Tyler not Theresa and Brandon. Amber is so odd with the nicknames. I understand having nicknames for your kids, I have them for my kids. But most people only use the nickname when talking to the child, not when they are talking about the child to another adult. Its just very odd to me. Same thing with the stupid "Bubby" crap.

From reading both books written by the girls, I got the impression that Michelle was too clingy with the other two after they got out. They had their families and big welcome home parties and Michelle had nothing. She wanted to talk to and see Gina and Amanda every day and I think they just wanted to move on. Michelle breaks my heart. I cried many times while reading her book. The girl has had a horrible life. I truly hope the rest of her life is wonderful for her. Every time I see Michelle I want to wrap her in my arms and give her a hug.
