  1. Isn't that the scene with River at the start of Time of Angels?
  2. Shock news!!! Bianca and her business have been "forced" to leave Croydon, blares local paper. Of course, when you look a bit closer, it turns out that she's taking her tights business to Penge because her office building is being converted into flats, but it's good to know that she's still going ahead with her plans.
  3. Wanda took the 10 year old Benedict to the filming of her last appearance on Doctor Who, Time And The Rani. You've got to wonder why he ever wanted to be an actor, after seeing that chaos in person.
  4. I enjoyed this episode tremendously. I was amused by the explanation that Shona worked in a shop, up until that point I'd been thinking "Shouldn't a scientist be a bit more level headed?" But no, it was all throughly enjoyable - good Christmas fun!
  5. Mine as well. The scenes with the cuddle jumpers are brilliant. They seemed to drive David Mitchell almost to hysteria.
  6. If Clara had left being 80-ish old in the Christams special, I wouldn't have been crying. I like Clara, I think she had a consistant. intelligent character arc in season 8, but I'm pretty much done with her. Hopefully, now that the Doctor seems to have his mojo back, he and Clara will have more of a standard relationship.
  7. Tom was pwned on You're Hired. Ricky got to speak, Dr Leah got to speak, Tom got forgotten. I think Bianca made the better presentation, and she did show that she was willing to lower the prices in the final boardroom. Her idea seemed to have legs (I had to say it) and all of the experts agreed there was a gap in the market she could fill. Mark seems to be trying to squeeze into a very crowded market, but it's not my money to choose.
  8. No!! Say it aint so!! Unless Alan gets Claude in to replace him, that would be funny.
  9. The thing about Soloman is that I really don't think he's seen the show before. I get the impression he thought these interviews were going to be chilling over a latte and having an informal chat, where he could impress the interviewers with the fact he could pitch on the spot, not read out from a pre-written report. And for not realising they'd want to check his numbers first...no, he is a fuckwit.
  10. I know!! I do have to wonder how such a business plan made it past the screening process, you'd think Lord Sugar would have said he's looking for something a bit more guarenteed. It's a shame that the two nicest people in this years shows were trying to push business plans that might as well have had "Will not interest Lord Sugar" stamped on the front,
  11. <Pedant hat on> Zoe travelled with Two, not Three. <Pedant hat off>
  12. I think this might be a good reason for her to sit out as PM. Great play was made of Daniel heading straight to Golders Green for his chicken, and Bianca rolling her eyes because Roisin didn't want to head immediately to Hatton Garden. If you're on a treasure hunt against the clock, having local knowledge is perceived to be a huge advantage. Of course, look how that worked out for Zeeshaan last season...
  13. I think that maybe the real problem with the skeleton was that it was unassembled. If they'd been able to buy one that had been constructed, I think Lord Sug might not have blown up quite so hard. It wasn't real, but then neither was the other teams. If it had looked real, I think he might have been willing to accept it, maybe even been amused by the cheek of it. Even if he'd imposed a fine, I don't think it would have been for the full price. I also have to wonder if he'd already decided it was time to push Felipe out of the process. It's clear that Sugs knows what the candidates business plans are from the start of the show, and I can't really see him being keen on what Felipe outlined in You're Fired. Maybe if Felipe had demonstrated killer business instincts during the process, he'd have gone for it, but it wasn't to be.
  14. Then prepare to be unsure. I think Ten was the worst of the whole series, he was a total twat.
  15. To be honest, I couldn't give a toss about RTD's companions family. Jackie? Whatever. The whole Jones clan? Yawn. Donnas family? Apart from feeling sorry that they had that monster in their midst, boredom. I like the fact that Moffat makes the companions friends part of the story, with Rory being a companion as well, and Danny resolving the Cyber army plot
  16. To be honest, anything that gets the gooning chump off my screen ASAP is good for me. Don't let the door hit you in the arse, Katy.
  17. Yeah, Jo's terrible. And she's got the worst scream, it's painful to hear it.
  18. I wouldn't bother looking for it. Not only is it painfully cheap and badly directed, Tom admits he was very bad it in.
  19. I did wonder if maybe there was an obligation for them to do it, if it was party of the task? Not for a business reason, just for the producers to allow us to laugh at their efforts? Is there a reason the British teams couldn't send first attempts for labels to the US teams for assessment? They're using smartphones to stay in touch, take a shot and send it on! I know that the teams aren't supposed to use computers and stuff, but when they're talking cross-Atlantic, it seems foolish not to use the other buttons on their phones. Oh yeah, I keep thinking this is business, not entertainment.
  20. That advert!!! But then...that branding!!! The right team lost, and (purely because Lauren didn't do much this week)the right person was fired.
  21. Yay!!! And wouldn't the TV Movie have been different?
  22. Actually, the reason why some of the races fled at Stonehenge was that they'd already planned to lock him in the Pandorica. But yes, quite a lot of them were frightened by what he'd done in their past. Which leads organically to Elevens decision to step back into the shadows, because his enemies are starting to target his friends, rather than aim at him. I do like Twelve, and I think his growth through his first year as he comes to realise what sort of man he is has been brilliant, but Eleven is still my favourite Doctor.
