Jessel was so much more likable in tonight’s show than she’s been in the past. I really enjoyed the scene between her and her mother.

That’s one of my all-time favorite episodes.

She should spell the cat’s name “Choux” (as in “mon petite choux.)

Does anyone else get a Jill Zarin vibe from Erin? (And I don’t mean that as a compliment!)

Since he obviously made two dough rings, it would’ve made sense to fry one and bake the other. That way, if frying didn’t work, he still would’ve had a nicely done (if more conventional) pastry.

That would be about $2,700 today.

I wonder if the REAL reason he confessed to Kaity about having sex with Gabi wasn’t so much about being “open” , “honest”, “transparent” (yada yada yada) but because he was afraid Gabi might tell Kaity herself. He must be aware that the two are close friends. He probably just wanted to get to put his spin on it first.

This is moot at this point, but it annoys the heck out of me when someone can’t be bothered to pronounce other peoples’ names correctly. Ariel pronounces her name “air-ee-ELLE”, not like the Little Mermaid.

If the editors cut out every “like”, “incredible” and “vulnerable” there would be enough time for another two hours of more interesting stuff.

It’s gotta be Charity for the next bachelorette.

Thank you, Stats Queen! You're so sweet too 🤗. I think you two will have a more enduring love fest than Zach + Whoever! Meanwhile, Ariel needs to find herself a nice, smart Eastern European Jewish mensch who can keep up with her! Zach, the walking definition of the word “vanilla”, isn’t up to the task. I cannot wait to see that hometown!

So, is that the end of this season? It sure felt like it.

I loved JP! And I know he’s not popular on these boards, but I always had a big crush on Arie.

It was my impression that the bacon inside the cookies was one of the things the judges liked most. They liked how the bacon rendered inside the cookie. Their only quibble was that the bacon could not be considered a “topping.”

Maybe the reason the women are so friendly with each other is that none of them are really that into Zach. I think he’s doing very well in his role as “The Bachelor” but other than that, I don’t find him particularly interesting.

There does seem to be more emphasis on flavors and overall technique in this season. There’s very little focus on decorating and presentation.

Jazz just seemed to be sleepwalking through that entire last episode. Very flat affect. I wonder if she’s depressed or just bored to death, as I am becoming. Same old, same old…

Well, this new guy seems to be an improvement over Amir (or whatever his name was). We shall see. I know it’s difficult to find flattering clothing when you’re as overweight as Jazz, but honestly, she couldn’t wear more UN-flattering outfits if she tried.

Just getting around to watching the last episode. Jason is so adorable. “I’ve made dessert in a jar before, but not on purpose.” So cute.

I’ve read that the new season starts on January 24th.
