Shortly before the release of Into Darkness, the studios have been on a campaign to let people know they are dumbing down Star Trek in order to get a wider audience. Well they have succeeded, by putting really bad Star Trek on the screen and alienating good solid scifi fans and totaling ticking off hardcore Star Trek fans. But they are not worried, because now they have the Hunger Games crowd set, streaming into Star Trek movies. They could easily make a cerebral Star Trek that makes lots of money. But it would take someone with a good bit of S.T.E.M. knowledge and understanding of the vastness of space along with how good strong confident military organizations function. Ahhh But! We are truly in the golden age of Young Adult Chick Sci Fi.

I liked the movie, that is saying a lot for a Bryan Singer movie. Must say the woman playing Jean Grey, has a very powerful sexuality about her. Just like the young Virginia Madsen.

I was trying to stay out of this because of how much hate I have for this poor excuse for Star Trek. These rebooted characters, are so far from the characters, especially for the women, that were in the pilot for Star Trek. Now I know the original pilot was never aired by it self but as part of a two part arc with the final 1960's cast. But the depiction of the women were so superior to the women of this rebooted garbage. I remember how much I loved the character of number 1. Now having said that, in reality, the closes any form of Star Trek has gotten to the pilot women, has been in Deep Space Nine and Voyager. With most of the Voyager women, being a pleasure to watch, week in and week out. And for sure the women of Voyager certainly knew how to handle romantic relationships in a professional manner. Which the same cannot be said for this Uhura. Uhura as a tactical officer, now there is a laugh, this rebooted Uhura has no sense of tact. Kissing, pouting, arguing and being relationship bitchy while on duty and in uniform. Way to portray a strong woman in any century. As for the job title of Communications Officer, if this was good Star Trek, the job would rate a bridge position at this point in the Federation history. After all you are just beginning to explore the galaxy. With messages on all frequencies from subspace to the full spectrum of radio waves, coming at you weak and at the speed of light, while you are moving through subspace at speeds of 300 to 400 times the speed of light. Not to mention having to distinguish between back ground noise and actual language from any number of species. In short this reboot garbage is bad fiction from a science point, military ship point, and depending how you view good leaders with the fate of many others in their hands, a good leadership point.

Bryan Singer can not direct X-Men movies very well. Disliked his original X-Men movies. It was if he did not know how to show or represent his characters powers. Rogue was so under utilized, that it boggles the mind as to why they even had her in the movies.

The writers do not have an easy job when it comes to the Inhuman story line. They are pulling processes and procedures from the Marvel Universe. Which most people know nothing about. After watching Guardians of the Galaxy, which I did not quite get. I read an overview on the Inhuman universe. All I can say is that it is highly possible that over 10000 years ago some great Kree intelligence either saw the the events of today or through a very sophisticated algorithm got an overall view of where the planet earth would be at certain age points in its history. The Inhuman's could be genetically modified along the lines of the insect world. Where it produces what ever type of workers it needs to sustain itself. It was clear that Daisy's mom was royalty of some kind. Most of the Inhumans changed or not, followed her lead. It is highly possible that Daisy is a pheromone based Queen. In the sci fi world we all know how the bodies pile up, from falling on swords or jumping on grenades, to save the pheromonal Queens.

It's a bear to do a remodel of any kind. Perhaps it would have been better if they had a female dog walking around the bathroom, when discussing the remodel.

Ziva's name being thrown around is NCIS's version of click bait. Trying for that extra 100,000 viewers.

They are baiting so many of us with Ziva David being shown and mentioned.

Well isn't Daisy the "all in", "ride and die", inhuman. Was it just me that thought Daisy's "drain me", was a sexual metaphor for bang me anyway which way you like. After viewing that trailer I think the Magnificent Seven Culturally Diverse Heroes with Feminist Girl Power! Would work too. I would love to see how this was pitched to the studios.
