For a deeply guilt ridden person, channeling the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and stealing state secrets, is a pretty good coping mechanism. It beats cutting, binge drinking or eating, and hyper sexuality. Although in Chloe's case, hyper sexuality would make her the perfect woman. She would give you great sex, then without prompting, she would get quickly dressed, say thanks and goodbye with that half hearted smile, then leave. Probably paying for the pizza on her way out.

That was my take on the fight also. With a little feminist revenge fantasy porn thrown in for the ladies. Having said that, I was amazed at how loyal Garrett was to Ward. He kept telling him you can have anything you want. But Ward like everyone else thought Garrett was going mad. I could see Ward not seeing that Garrett had reached some type of transcendent intelligence. However there is no excuse for the gravitonium creator not to see that Garrett was now operating on a different level of intelligence. Also did anyone else find it funny that Coulson went into battle wearing a perfectly pressed shirt and a perfectly worn tie. That made Fury's comment about how he was dressed even funnier.

I want a black man purse like Jack but I know I am not macho enough to pull it off. Looks like next week we will get to see if MI-5 or the British police are any better at secure perimeters than CTU was.

I do not know if it was just me, but when mother terrorist greeted daughter terrorist in the garden. I got a strong Adrian and Nikita vibe. Oh Peta Wilson where have you gone.

One of my main problems with Hand's actions was that Garrett was at least a mid level Hydra agent. The world would be better off interrogating him for information. When she started with her little manipulation I thought she was Hydra also, seeing if she could turn Ward by testing his loyalty to Garrett. The truth is given Garrett's motivations she could have been Hydra, but a road block to his true goals.

Under the war conditions that are rag tag rebels are operating under, Fitz did what he should have. He was captured and unarmed, conventionally at least. He had a chance to take out a major figure of their foe's army. He took it, his out burst was more PTSD than anything. The man has gone through a lot lately, including shooting someone to save a team member. Skye allowing Ward to live could have been more instinctive than feminine weakness. After all if Ward had died the only person left to get her to decrypt the file is her own frail body. Deathlock would have surely gone Jack Bauer on her, real quick. In the last few episodes the one person's actions that has bothered me the most is agent Hand. She had a prisoner in custody. Then preceded to psychology manipulate a former colleague of the prisoner into shooting him in the head. That is wrong on so many levels. As I read all the posts on this episode it dawned on me what I was watching. And I have not stop laughing. Garrett is the emperor, Ward is Darth Vader, May is master Yoda and Skye is Luke Skywalker. "I know there is still some good left in you" speech is coming soon from Skye.

When it comes to Burke and Christina I am an unapologetic kool-aid drinker. So here's to a How I met your mother ending for Burke and Christina. -

I Stop watching Grey's when Burke left. Had to watch this episode. Because as much as Grey's was supposed to be the Derek and Meredith show. It became the Yang and Burke show when they were on screen together. Christina let a man show his respect, admiration and love for you in a non sexual way. Guys are capable of that. -
Season 4 Discussion

The second half of the season or the "scattering" still bugs. Because I truly do not know if it was for character development or if it was to save money. So they could front load season five with lots of characters and action scenes. The ratings for the season finale were lower than the season opener. A first for TWD, so l guess I was not the only one disappointed in the latter half of the season. After watching season three I was on pins and needles waiting for four to begin. So far not really anxious for season five, maybe it will come in a few months. -
Season 4 Discussion

I did not realize until after reading someone else's post. That this was the first season that I watched week to week. Before this season I streamed whole seasons usually in one day. So having to wait a week to see story development, probably lessened my enjoyment. The first half was okay because it was a group centric arc. And I could see where it was going week to week. But after the prison fell, they were evolving the characters. So I just needed things to move along quicker and perhaps tie in better. I am sure season 5 will probably weave together the timelines and positioning of our characters. -

Team Death Eternal: as in and his word shall carry death eternal to those who stand against the righteous. I would love it after the Terminus people get there comeuppance. Eugene paraphrases DUNE: We the TDE have a saying "God created the walkers to train the faithful. One cannot go against the word of God." -
OG or Why Did You Start Watching?
Watcher0363 replied to LCanterbury's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
Yeah the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode is what hooked me. That conversation between Rick and Shane, about Shane's girlfriend and the lights had me laughing so hard. Because it sounded so much like a real conversation. I have not laughed much since that opening scene. Now I spend much of time while watching TWD, saying, "that's just not right, you know that was not right" -
Season 4 Discussion
Watcher0363 replied to David T. Cole's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
Well, now that season four is all wrapped upped. I thought I would post some thoughts on the season. First I will acknowledge that this is the Walking Dead, where zombies in various states of decay are everywhere. And our hearty band of survivors are alive despite of themselves. Having said that, this was my least favorite season. Because in order to show us character development they made the characters do really dumb stuff. Like Daryl opening a door without looking, walking into a dark tunnel, both Glenn and Maggie's I will go it alone to find my true lovvve. There was all this dumbness with very little pay off in what I considered to be weak character development. Unlike many I really enjoyed season two character development. There we saw Shane's true nature reveal itself, we saw Glenn realizing his value. Andrea found her strength, Lori's Lady Macbeth nature revealed and the Herschel family saw the light as well as Carol realizing that the ZA is no place for weak children. To me season two was good stuff. Except for the Micah, Carol dynamic playing itself out. I found everyone else's introspective angst rather boring including the episodes they were contained in. As it stands only 3 or 4 episodes really held my attention. Hopefully maybe we will get some flashbacks in season five to give more weight to some of season four's episodes. Like perhaps Beth and Daryl breaking in a casket or two. Perhaps that would explain his don't look opening the door policy in the middle of the ZA. -
Yeah that article is very correct. The truth is with all the dried pastas and smoked meats in this country there is no way these people should be starving at the 5 year mark that alone the 2 year mark. Plus Georgia is in a hurricane prone area. There should be enough can goods in that state for a couple of decades.

I was going to post an article defending Ricks leadership. But the 4th season finale summed it up well. In the world they live in, it is easy to become a monster and to justify your actions as just for a host of reasons, some more legitimate than others. But the greatest danger is when you are a leader and a monster. Then your followers become monsters and the humanity of the whole is greatly diminished if not totally lost.
