  1. I'm going to hell. One of the commercials before they returned to the show was for True Life. The episode was "my parents are in porn." My immediate thought was "oh look! Sophia got her own show'" Shouldn't Shopia's front teeth have grown in by now? Proud of Ryan standing up to Dr. Drew and saying hell no to them meeting his new lady.
  2. So many thoughts in my head they are all jumbled together. I'll probably post several times as they slowly become coherent. First, can we post about the after show here? The silence following Amber asking Matt if he had nothing to say was quite telling. Also? Matt yelling at Heather to stay out of HIS house? Um, nope. Isn't it Amber's house? Or did they go get a new house once he moved in? Wow! Cate! She even had a blanket and was laying down in therapy. Sheesh. But loved seeing her riding a bike with Nova. And Tyler with the rollerblades. Hehehe Ryan was a winner this episode. And Bently was too cute.
  3. Did Farrah get yet another dog? Yay for Ryan's friend Stephen. I hope he appears again Wait. What?
  4. Dang. As a Nebraska fan I've never felt so welcomed by fellow BIG people. :|
  5. Hey Big 12 fans...legit question. When will the conference announce the conference football schedule for 2016. I know the 2015 one was announced 11/19/14 but haven't seen the 2016 one yet. I find it so strange dates haven't been set yet. I know Nebraska's for several years out are set (minus kickoff times obviously). I ask because I need to pick a date in November for a huge benefit in Oklahoma. Thanks!
  6. It is about time my Huskers game out victorious on the last play of a game. Is not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight.
  7. Yay! Nebraska is taking back the $5-bits-of-broken-chair trophy. :) I saw some things which made me hopeful for the rest of the season so that is good. And for the most part, it was a fun game for me to watch which made me want to watch the rest of the games. Having watched other games -- what a fun day in college football!
  8. What in the world is going on in college football this year? Spurrier just retired....immediately. I hope there isn't some health issue behind it.
  9. Calvada, trust me. They were legit injuries. Not using the injuries as an excuse but this team has been plagued with injuries far more than our teams usually are. At this point, most of us are surprised we are able to piece together a team to take the field. Yet again, my team has broken my heart with another last play loss. I'm not sure it will be possible to repair my heart. In other games.....being a native Nebraskan living in Oklahoma City (wtf?) and having to interact with so many arrogant Sooner fans, even though I can't stand Texas, I'm thrilled they pulled out a win.
  10. As the Nebraska fan here, I suppose I should come out from my corner, and speak. Y'all are right. With Texas and Oklahoma flirting with the Pac-12 was one of the key reasons, as was the money of the B1G. Other contributing factors were the league consistently voting 11-1 against Osborne in meetings (just what I've heard, not sure about what but I know it was one of the reasons discussed at the time) as well as OU point blank saying they chose Texas over us. Bitter, hurt feelings? Yep but such is life. I'm still thrilled we are in the B1G but part of that may be because I'm an avid volleyball fan a seriously, this league dominates the sport. I believe a majority of fans have realized the glory days of Osborne are long gone but they still expect the team to be successful, ranked and a national topic for good things not bad. I don't believe anyone these days expects national championships year in and out. Granted I no longer life in Nebraska so I'm not around the crazy 24/7. Yay for that. Personally, I'm not sure if I'd rather have Pelini or not. I do miss Faux though. He certainly isn't as active these days. Watching the games, I see signs to be hopeful. These games have been a gut punch though. I was born in the 80s so I've been spoiled by how the team was as I grew up. However, I'm trying to keep perspective and realize there is far more to life and transitions take time. But Riley seriously needs to get a better grip on time management here. Phew. That was a lot of rambling. Sorry friends. Thrilled Clemson beat Notre Dame. Disappointed Wisconsin lost to Iowa. As much as I don't like both schools, if I have to pick one to win, I pick Wisconsin. Alright, back to my corner to curl up in confusion and pout.
  11. I'm curled up in a corner trying to comprehend what is going on at my beloved Nebraska. What an amazing comeback. Sad they couldn't finish though. I've never witnessed a losing season before. This is so strange. Also? I'm baffled by how the Sun Life stadium was so empty. Incredible play for Ole Miss when the QB chucked the ball in the air, bounced off some players and one of his guys caught it and returned it for a touchdown. The Texas Tech coach had great quotes after the game regarding the Arkansas coach. (I'm too tired to look up their names to spell them correctly.) I do love the chaos we've had in recent seasons in the early weeks. No longer a given of who will win.
  12. I'm quite surprised he didn't try to mention it again at the end of his interview with Julie. I almost expected him to say something like "so Julie, how about we put me on the Bold and the Beautiful?"
  13. Dear Judge Judy powers that be, For sweeps week this season please let one or two episodes just be out takes from crazy Pat Bean's episode. Your viewers would love it. Xoxo, Me
  14. I am still giggling over the moment. It was just so random and yet perfect timing.
  15. Argh! My let disappeared! Let me try to remember what I said. Thrilled the Spice ladies went home. Too much whining and crying. Can't stand that. I wanted to root for them since they are from Phoenix and I do love Phoenix. All the remaining trucks seem to have great food. I'm rooting the most for the waffle truck. There used to be a waffle truck in OKC until they closed it to open a brick and mortar location. My favorite is the grilled cheese waffle sandwich. It is amazing. If you are curious, here is their menu: http://media.wix.com/ugd/9aa393_a6be24127a36449d9c238ecc8aac10a6.pdf Yes, the waffle truck's price points may seem high but I wonder if those are their usual prices because if so, it kind of makes sense. In addition to the cost of food, food truck owners have to pay for permits (usually one for each location), employee wages, gas for the truck, propane for the kitchen stuff, insurance for the truck, wear and tear on the truck, etc. I assume on the show those things are covered but in real life a lot of other things factor into the prices of their food.
  16. Huge Air Force Base here...Tinker. There are even a few Navy squadrons here.
  17. I've lived in Oklahoma City the past three and a half years. Brianna....we do not get tornados every week. Earthquakes yes. Tornados no. Exaggerate much? I think so. For those wondering, no one has basements here. As it was explained to me, the way the red dirt is causes foundations to shift so much, basements aren't recommended. The tornado shelter she has looked like an average size. It is becoming common to have them in the garage rather than outside as it is easier to get to in a storm. Mine is in my garage. Plus it just looks random to have a big piece of metal in the middle of your yard. I need someone to let me know next time Vicki comes to Oklahoma City so I can either not be here or witness her in real life. I agree with Brianna, this place stinks and is boring. I'm anxious to move! Someone mentioned Tamra, Vicki and Brianna being in NYC all happy and how it must have been because they knew Brooks was no more. Did he and Vicki finally split? I applaud Eddie. He was on the money regarding Ryan. I get the sense of future issues between him and Tamra. Meghan strikes me as someone who constantly needs to be the center of attention.
  18. As a Nebraska alum and fan, can we restart the season? Thanks. Ugh, the last second almost always bites us (see Big 12 championship game versus Texas) but props to BYU for winning. With a new coach I wasn't sure what to expect going into the game but was hopeful, not confident, for a win. I saw a lot of things to be hopeful about though.
  19. An! Okay. Thank you for clarifying. I obviously do not retain much information from past seasons. :)
  20. So many times it seems like we are just on the edge of getting something wonderful to happen (I.e. Blackdoor Vanessa, nomianting Austwins, etc.) and then is all falls apart. I'm really hopeful James and Meg finally pull through and "bust a move." (Sorry...listening to old school music). I don't watch the feeds but follow along here closely and I know there are mixed feelings about James but I enjoy all his practical jokes. They are harmless and definitely add some fun into the house.
  21. I finally got around to reading the Huffington Post article. Very interesting. One thing that stuck out to me was Andy's little rant about the game and gay men. He mentioned Cowboy as one of the gay men. I thought Cowboy was married to a female during the game. Has he come out as gay? Not a big deal and it really doesn't matter but I'm just curious.
  22. I like Eddie and am glad he won of the final three. Arnold was my favorite and I'm still sad he wasn't in the final three. This probably makes me a horrible person but every time I watch Jay, a part of my brain just starts shouting "go away Lenny!" I know they are not the same but Jay just always reminds me of Lenny. Because if that, I'm glad he didn't win although the entire show it seemed like he was going to be the winner.
