  1. I can't fault her either. Someone going through that with their child would be upset and that would boil over into everything going on during that time. However, it was odd how she was fine with a random woman who is an IT Director's medical advice/opinion before she knew she was Shaun's girlfriend. All of them were wrong for having the discussion then and not focusing on the child who was about to die. I find Andrews most at fault. He is the high ranking, seasoned professional. He should have immediately put a stop to the chatter but instead fed into it with his NRA comments.
  2. I think it's because next week is preempted because the President is speaking Wednesday night.
  3. After the very beginning of the show where Bailey had Meredith jump through hoops for an episode relationships with coworkers wasn't an issue (that I can recall) until Alex & Jo. It's been forever but I recall them faking a breakup and having to sign forms with HR. It never mattered for anyone else. At this point in the show it's happened so much that it's barely a blip for me. When Meredith was in between life & death in S3 she returned remembering. She told people she spoke to Denny. She knew her mother was dead. IIRC, there was a talk with Denny where she even learned things about people she didn't know. IMO, it was portrayed as a near death experience. Because of that I took this to be the same. In both she chatted with various dead people then returned after talking to them. Yes, I noticed that too. I found the conversation about Amelia annoying. Meredith saying kids get stronger after struggling when losing a parent and Derek saying "or they're Amelia" and they both laugh. Glad they got a chuckle from a 5 year old watching her father die then having addiction issues later in life. At least Meredith did say she's doing better now. Good thing seeing how Amelia has been one of the people who has been helping care for her kids for years now. The scenes with Zola were very good, the best of the episode for me. I enjoyed seeing the departed characters but I'm glad the beach is (hopefully) done. I hope they do a bit of a time jump to move the vaccinated COVID world. I appreciate they wanted to show the struggles but the show is a pit of depression most of the time. Other shows have shown the impact of COVID but moved to other stories instead of drowning in it week after week.
  4. I guess because it's possible for electronic accounts to be tracked. I took it as her wanting the cash if she felt unsafe enough to want to leave with the kids without warning. Agree with above that Stella is being shown as too perfect. She can't keep that up for too long. Wouldn't be shocked if Clay came home in the finale and she's gone or something.
  5. I think there's a pretty good chance the show will return next season. I saw this article last week - Krista signed a new overall deal and it says they are working towards a deal to bring GA back: https://deadline.com/2021/03/krista-vernoff-overall-deal-abc-signature-greys-anatomy-season-18-renewal-1234721820/
  6. When Meredith died/hung out in the afterlife way back in season 3 she touched a lot of dead people (and her dead dog) and popped back. Of course there's no way to know if the dead surgical floor and the dead beach work the same so time will tell, lol. I wish there was a moment with Mark and Derek too but so many dead, so little time. Meredith and Lexie falls flat for me because Meredith never appeared close to her and barely said a word when she died. But I did enjoy seeing both Mark and Lexie.
  7. I think Amelia's reaction was because the bottle was hidden. Alcoholics/addicts often hide their addiction & I think that is what set her off. At the end when they talked she said "no more secrets". I don't think she really has an issue with Link having a drink or going off to play his guitar & have one. It's that she felt like he was keeping it a secret. I was glad to see them actually have a conversation and move past it. Often on Grey's no one talks to each other.
  8. I didn't mean her leaving forever. I meant leaving having recovered fully from COVID surrounded by her family & hospital family. Would be a contrast to how she started, walking in alone. Of course there could be 17 more seasons LOL.
  9. Agree. But I could also see them ending - leave Meredith on the beach and cycle through as many dead characters as they can, give everyone else tidbits to wrap them up and end with Meredith leaving the hospital surrounded by her family. It's dead beach going on so long that makes me think that.
  10. I watched this show a couple of years ago. I'm thinking of rewatching again. I enjoyed it so much.
  11. Wasn't a fan. I agree with many of the posts already made about how much better it could have been done so that Alex wasn't shredded in the process. I loved Alex & Izzie way back when & I loved Alex & Jo these past few years. Now I want Jo to rip up the letter, sell the shares & live it up without an ounce of mourning or guilt. Well its Grey's & Owen seems to father the majority of the children so I think its more likely Jo will sleep with Owen. She's reeling from being dumped via a letter & Teddy just cheated on Owen. Presto! Another kid for Owen. (I just made myself a bit sick from typing that - I am joking).
  12. I think Vanessa is going to be the Kirsten of this series. If you didn't watch the original Kirsten was the nanny. She was initially either engaged or married, I can't remember. Bailey had a crush on her but she & Charlie hit it off. My memories are fuzzy & I don't remember how long it was until she and Charlie got together. I had extremely low expectations going in. I like the show quite a bit so far. I'm in for the season.
  13. The Page Six claims offer an explanation but it still seems odd; the lack of well wishes, etc. They could have had Alex's mom need him and have him off screen until the finale or til next season. Its not like they give him major storyline anyway. If he needed help I am glad he is getting it, regardless of the issue. Haha that was my immediate thought as well. Its been just about every season.
  14. Popping back to say I wish Justin nothing but the best. Unless he did something completely heinous (& I struggle to believe that) there is no reason not to give him some kind of decent exit. Pure guess - He came back early from his visit & Alex is the driver of the car that drove the bar & they'll kill him off. It would be so Grey's.
  15. Preview for 3.07: Longer sneak peek:
  16. I agree, that is the case in real life. The show mainly focuses on the portions of their lives that immediately surround (& during) the missions. IMO we don't see the stretches of time when life is more normal for them. IMO, I don't think its much different than a medical show having surgeons perform ground breaking surgeries every week, lawyers in court arguing huge cases every week, etc. All the drama is heightened. I also don't think the show started all military and nothing with their lives - we saw Jason struggling personally after Nate died in episode 1. JMO.
  17. A post from Max - Swanny was based on Ryan Larkin, a former SEAL who took his own life in 2017.
  18. Are the sides the only reason why its being said that he doesn't appear after episode 8? I haven't read them for Jane but if the sides are like other shows its very possible for Michael to be on the show & not in the sides.
  19. I'm not convinced Emma thought about going to school in NYC prior to Alana dying. I think part of her wanting to get away is tied to her being afraid Jason is going to die too. She lost her mom unexpectedly & her dad has a job where he is always in danger. IMO, at least part of it is that she wants distance. I don't think Jason will sell the house. I think seeing a problem and looking for the way to blow right through it is consistent with Jason.I hope Emma stays. I think there could be decent story going forward. Jason dealing with his kids after leaving most of it to Alana gives him some personal conflict that isn't another romance on the show. Emma being 18 & having opinions that differ from her father give a family dynamic that is different than Ray's with small children. Especially after all the talk about the brotherhood throughout the episode. 5 hearts beating as 1- well until 1 is injured then you can stand in hall & you'll see him when you get back to the states. At a minimum there should have been a scene with them watching Clay be wheeled out after Blackburn told them he was leaving. I think we'll see his father, mainly because the actress who plays Stella went to another show didn't she?
  20. I agree with you, I think Nicky is staying with Kevin and that's why he is there. Perhaps he & Rebecca bonded & he's sitting with her while Kevin went out to get the food. I don't think Kate is dead. I think she & Toby have split and Kate is bringing Jack. If Kevin bought the house after they split that would explain why Toby never saw it. We also don't know how long Kevin has had the house. He could have bought it a month ago for all we know. A few nitpicks but overall I liked the finale.
  21. I've watched the whole way through. I found season 2 a bit off the rails but it got better towards the end of the season. And, season 3 was good.
  22. He went to theology college after FNL and didn't act for awhile. He was on Grey's Anatomy for a couple of seasons afterwards. Its great to see him here. I'm interested to see how it all plays out. I'm really enjoying this show. I never expected to like it and now I look forward to it every week.
  23. The show is back March 13th and moves to 10pm:
