  1. A perfect fit for this thread, a soft kitty:
  2. Trump Handing Over His Business to His Children Wouldn't Eliminate Conflicts I hope every media outlet keeps hammering this point.
  3. Trump Chooses Chicago Cubs Co-Owner Todd Ricketts for Deputy Commerce Post So he's appointing people who he claims have a lot to hide:
  4. In addition to costing NYC 1 million per day because his wife & kid won't move to DC he's now asking his supporters to sign a contract supporting removing federal funding:
  5. Agreed. Ivanka has already been included on meetings and phone calls with leaders from other countries and I'm sure would be at receptions, etc going forward. IIRC, Trump was also requesting clearance for his son in law as he is one of his advisers. His children and their spouses should be completely removed from any government intelligence, functions, meetings. Even if that's done we'd still have to trust that Trump wouldn't tell them what they need to know to benefit his businesses. I don't. Blind trust with no family involvement until he leaves office is the only way to avoid conflicts. I think we call all agree that ship has sailed. Clearly there are no longer any gaffe or gotchas that can keep someone from being elected.
  6. Its a hotel. He's going to cost the city nearly 1 million per day since they won't all move to DC. ETA: Trump Tower’s security is making Fifth Avenue shopping more difficult
  7. I'm so sorry for everyone dealing with the fires; my heart goes out to you.
  8. "Deal terms to keep Carrier jobs in Indiana include new inducements from state. Deal spear headed by former Indiana Gov Pence." Source: David Faber, CNBC
  9. Break out your checkbooks: Trump Committee Offers $1 Million Packages for Inauguration Donors I'd rather light myself on fire but YMMV!
  10. Gingrich calls Trump tweet about vote fraud a big mistake
  11. They'll blame Obama and talk about HRC's emails.
  12. And yet here he is as the President Elect. I really am having difficulty understanding how he can continually commit crimes and still be eligible for office. I don't believe he will back out. See above, he knows he can do whatever he wants and he just continues on. No one stands up to him.
  13. Bahrain to host event at Trump's D.C. hotel, raising ethical concerns
  14. Law Professor: Trump Can't Hold Lease On His Hotel Near White House
  15. She's been re-elected since being appointed. I'm from NY and she fights for many of the issues that are important to me. Who knows where we'll be as we get near 2020 and who will even want to run. I posted the link mainly because I found it interesting that its already starting to be discussed.
  16. Congress May Hold Key to Handling Trump's Conflict of Interest
  17. Looks who is at it already today. He's moved on from "the failing NY Times" to CNN. I really want CNN and other media outlets to hammer the point that he hasn't yet done a press conference. Let's get him up there alone in front of the press with questions being thrown at him instead of him sitting with his phone tweeting his nonsense.
  18. Chicago Tribune: Which Democrats will run for president in 2020? Really, really early but I could definitely get behind Kirsten Gillibrand.
  19. Donald Trump Son-in-Law Could Face His Own Conflict-of-Interest Questions
  20. Trump’s truths often fail the test Donald Trump’s Washington Hotel Is About To Violate Its Government Lease PROTECTING JOURNALISM FROM DONALD TRUMP ETA, one more: NY Mag: Conspiracy Theorist Donald Trump Does Not Understand How Logic Works
  21. (sorry, couldn't help myself. I'm just kidding fishcakes)
  22. Will he look to block the recount? If he is so confident he's won fair and square then why hire lawyers, etc? Official: Trump could object to Michigan recount request (Source for screen shot below: http://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2016/11/28/michigan-presidential-recount-heres-what-we-know/94548274/)
  23. Too bad the elector didn't do what is right - stay and vote for the person they thought was qualified. Coward. No, the cult-like following continues - the press is evil for saying anything bad about him, everything is HRC's fault and people who don't like Trump are stupid. And the gems like this continue on FB:
