  1. Forget Caleb/Amber. Christine/Cody is the true horror show of this season! (Not that I blame her for being all over him, since he is hot! But get a clue, Christine! A) YOu're Married, and B) He's clearly not interested.)
  2. And add "Beast-Mode Cowboy" to the list.
  3. Agreed on all counts. To be fair, which would you rather have? $500K, or Juan Pablo? TOTAL safety-net, in case Frankie (or maybe Donny?) gets evicted, they can get right back in. (Did I mention lately how I much how I loathe Frankie and his narcissistic self and over-the-top antics?)
  4. Agreed on all counts. And added to my "HAAAAATE" list.
  5. And I’m one of them. I’ve said before that this show, while it introduced him to the mainstream is NOT a particularly good showcase for Darren Criss. Having seen him in “How to succeed..” on Broadway and several times in concert, I can say that A) He just OOZES charisma, and B) The small tube does not translate that charisma factor. Bingo. I think the nail has been hit on the head. It’s only really since Cory’s death that they’ve been pushing Chord/Sam to be the “Leading Man” of the show, which he just does not have the chops to pull off in any way, shape or form.
  6. My two big "HAAAAATE:-worthy actors are Jonah Hill and Adam Sandler.
  7. I have WAY too many "Guilty Pleasure" movies... But the two I just rewatched recently are Legally Blonde and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.
  8. To be fair, Lea Michelle, Darren Criss and Chris Colfer (and arguably Naya Rivera) were the big, breakout stars of the series. It makes sense that they would focus on Rachel and Blaine, at least. Why they're not focusing on Kurt, and why they ARE focusing on Sam is a mystery for the ages.. (At least until the "E! True Hollywood story" comes out.) But this S6 really sounds like a hot mess. Why cast NEW roles, when you are already have perfectly servicable people that the fans recognize? I mean, why NOT briong back Unique and Ryder and Marley and co.? IS RM set on having his "Hot, "Post-Gay Jock" on the screen THAT badly? (And I'm a gay man myself, and I don't WTF "Post-Gay" even means.) Wait, don't answer that! I was rewatching my old "Popular" DVD's (Don't judge me!!), and in several of the commentaries he was bragging about dating some of the extras. Yeah, he's THAT much of a total knob.
  9. Wow! This topic is like the gift that keeps on giving.
  10. Yes, mixed metaphors are the least of the problems in the BB house!
  11. This was by far my favorite part of the episode! Do the "Team Amurica" players really not know how MEANINGLESS these missions/"Alliaince" are? I mean, really. If they're going to insist on having this STUPID idea in play in the first place, the members should be FORCED to take on the task assigend to them, not be able to put it aside at a whim! (At the very least, make them a "Have-Not", FFS!!)
  12. Absolutely agree. This is a precursor to stuff that's to come in later seasons, but it's handled rather ham-handedly in this episode, to my mind.
  13. I think that served to humanize him even more than ever before, actually. He came off as a REAL person, with flaws, merits and prejudices. (And to be fair, IIRC, wasn't he imprisoned/totured by the "Cardies" during the TNG run?)
  14. I'm firmly convinced that Jessie (AKA "Mr Pec-tacular" [sNORT]) remains one of (if not THE most) douchey contestants in BB history. I dare any of you to watch this and NOT laugh out loud.. (I'm shocked that that two hosts didn't ask for lapdances the way they fawned over him!)
  15. Agreed. I think Aisha is great. She's the straight-woman with a dose of comedy, coupled with common-sense to offset the wackiness of the rest of the ladies..
  16. When did Jacosta become a stereotype of a stereotpye? Ah yes... "Team Amurica"? ENOUGH, Please just stop. "America comes first." STFU, Frankie. And these "Missions" that these blockheads take so seriously? Are CRAP. If I hear "Beast Mode-Cowboy" or "Stealth-Mode Cowboy" one more time, I won't be held responsible for my actions.... I"m wondering how much is planned/staged for the cameras, and how much is "Real". But yeah, I'm waiting for the X-rated outtakes. I love how evryone was like "He ate a PICKLE for you! A PICKLE! He almost DIED!" PFFT. WHile Zach remains a major tool, I can't help but find him oddly endearing. He can stay for a bit longer. I'm still rooting for a Cody win. Yeah, night and day betwene the way they handled the Derrick situatuion compared to the Frankie situation. (I don't think we'll see a picture of Derrick tanning in a thong next to his fully clothed grandfather.) To be fair, when Jacosta was ill, Cody DID pull off a rather hot mini-striptease... I thnk the problem was in getting non-sexual Nicole to try and pull this off.
  17. Ah! At last.. The first mention of the Dominion. They were very clever, sneaking it into a Fernegi-centric episode and playing it almost for laughs at this early stage. That makes it even scarier when we do finally "see" the Dominion.. Though I could have done without Pel; they don't tend to play that "type" of storyline strongly. though this is 1,000x better than "Profit and Lace"!
  18. Episode threads for 206 & 207 now posted. I aplogize for the haphazardness lately! But I thank everyone new and old who is still following along. I love reading comments from all of you on what episodes you liked/didn't like, and why. AND I've learned a few things along the way, as well!
  19. Quark represents Grand Nagus Zek in a plot to establish a Ferengi business presence in the Gamma Quadrant. Pel, a young Ferengi, teams up with Quark and they learn that to do business in the Gamma Quadrant they must contact the Keremma, a member race of the Dominion.
  20. Bashir tries to help Ensign Melora Pazlar, the first Elaysian to join Starfleet, adjust to "normal" gravity. This was one of my least-favroite eposides of the season.... While it DOES set up Bashirs ongoing tendency to play the White-Kinght and/or fall for the wrong women, it was handled much better ln later seasons. And the "Deus Ex Machina" after Melora gets phasered? Beyond lame!
  21. I find Cam's timing to be suspicious. Didn't this interview come out JUST as his new show was premiering? Not that I disbelieve him (necessarily)...
  22. OK, hamsters.. Can we stop with the "Blood on the hands" analogy? None of you are Lady Macbeth,... Ah well, at least there was no "Beast-Mode Cowboy" this week. Caleb, are you seriously that delusional? And Amber, why would you invite him on a "date", even in jest?? I can't help but smile at Zack and his antics. (That and "Fruit Loop Dingus" is TOTALLY an insult my friends and I would use.) His reason for putting up Christine is spurious at best; EVERY alliance on BB has members that don't "pull their weight"; why act so supsrisied that Christine didn't want to throw a competition? I'm not sure how I feel about "THe Hitmen"; while I'm still rooting for a Cody win, I'm not sure I'd want Derreck anywhere NEAR the Final Two. I'm sure if they're not already, people will soon get wise to his conniving ways. And, "Team AMerica"? PLEASE get over yourselves. It's not like you're going off to fight a war on our behalf, so tone down the smug self-rightousness.
  23. This episode squicked me out. Some things don't need to/shouldn't be televised. A family members death is one of those things. WHile I think it's great that people have bonded and were willing to support Frankie, but it's something that made me extremely uncofmortable as a viewer. (As an aside, I think that's the first real emotion Frankie has shown in the house...) Yes, this season has the players who TPTB want to highlight, and is seemingly encouraging an "All-Male" second half of the game. While I do lke Cody, I wish he would just stop whining about the "Blood on his hands"... It's part of the game, buddy; you knew that signing up! (As an aside, I'll aldo renew my plea to stup using both that phrase and "Beast-Mode Cowboy" or "Stealth-Mode Cowboy. Seriously. Just stop.) And I too am curious what hanky-panky will be going on with Zack+Frankie sharing the HOH room....
  24. As an aside. I think the "Famewhore Principle" is almost as much a factor as the money for many of these people. (Like Caleb, thinking he's the "Next Big Thing", when BB has failed to make a star of anyone in it's run.)
