  1. I really enjoyed Oberyn's conversation with Tywin and Cersei. Seems that not only is he renowed by is battle prowess, but he's just as sharp with words as he is with his spear. They did such a good job in casting him. I think it helps that Bran is crippled, otherwise it'd be harder and harder to hide the fact that the actor playing him is damn near as tall as Hodor now! I thought the same thing. I was watching my TV closely and I thought I saw a stone glint briefly in Olenna's hand as she moved it away from Sansa's hair...
  2. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... That, my friends, was better than sex.
  3. Anyone see the cast list for Caesar? Its in pre-production now so I don't think the cast list if finished, but it looks like they're certainly taken an interest in GoT cast members both past and present! Isaac Hempstead Wright as Octavius, MacKenzie Crook as Cassius, Indira Varma as Calpurnia, and John Bradley as Casca. I'm wondering who they're gonna cast as the titular Caesar, but with so many GoT actors in this i'm definitely interested! Its nice to see so many of these people start to get more roles and be recognized. Link to IMDB page below. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3185182/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast
  4. I'm kinda thinking the same thing. I think she may know at this point that she's got a pretty small chance of winning even if she does get to the final 3. But she also knows that if she becomes the biggest character of this season she's got a really good chance of coming back in a future season.
  5. I couldn't stop laughing derisively when Kass said something to the effect of Morgan believes she's the center of the universe. After that I think Kass also said Morgan was a big black kettle while Kass was waving pots in the air... Kass may be making the votes interesting and she's certainly voting out who she wants to go out, but she doesn't seem to have any endgame strategy. Her voting is all based on emotion and honestly I kinda expected more out of her than that...
  6. I agree with those that hope Ward really has gone over to the dark side and this isn't just deep cover. And to answer your question Skye, WE'RE the ones that are calling Ward boring. But if he's really turned then I'm willing to consider re-thinking that. The last 5 minutes of the episode have been the most involved I've been in his character all season.
  7. I had heard this episode tied into Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so I made a point of seeing it this weekend. I'm glad I did...although that meant that I knew some of what was coming it also meant that everything made more sense. THIS is how you do a tie in to a movie, and not the passing side story they made to Thor 2 after that came out. The last two episodes of AoS have practically redeemed the entire season for me, I hope they continue to finish this season on a high note!
  8. This just reminds me of one of the features in the Blu Ray disks where various characters are talking about the history of Westeros, often the same event. So each character is giving a different version/perspective of the same thing. Forgot to mention that I'm so glad they changed actors for Daario Naharis. I couldn't stand the actor that played him last season, I thought he was way too young and boyish to pull off the role. I'm also glad that they've seemed to change Dany's reactions to him. Last season she seemed almost like a teenager swooning whenever he came by. This past episode she was a little more reluctant in showing affection and I think it works better for her character. Also, they need to have Sandor say "Fuck the King" every. Single. Episode.
  9. Actually I hope we get a scene with all the Lannisters together...Tywin, Tyrion, Jamie, Cersei, and Joffrey. It'd be cool to see one scene with them all together before the shit hits the fan. Really enjoyed this episode. I liked Oberyn's entrance and thought it worked well. It was definitely how I pictured him. I continue to love the pairing of Arya and The Hound as well. A cool moment I noticed on re-watch is when Oberyn walks in on the two Lannister men in the brothel he passes his hand over the flame of a burning candle. I saw it as a nod to how the Martells are from the hottest climate in the south of Westeros.
  10. She annoys me just because she's way more into herself than I think she wants to let on. Her self satisfied smirk at the end wasn't just because Sarah was voted out, but because all of the attention was focused back where she wanted it...directly on herself. I hope for her sake that all that attention warms her bed when she's at Loser's Lounge after finishing in 6th place as I can't see her finishing better than that now.
  11. Another refugee from TWoP here...I was under the same name over there. Can't wait to continue GoT talk here!
  12. Hey all, same name back at TWoP... I can't wait until the fall, its way too long to wait (although Game of Thones starting up certainly helps)! I definitely have a sneaking suspicious the hipsters at Terminus are Humanitarians so to speak so I'm anxious to see that play out!
  13. I was really happy with Andrew Lincoln as a guest. He's a really charming guy and you could tell he got just how much it meant to Chris Hardwick and us fans that he was in attendance.
  14. Hahaha, that's too funny. Overall I was happy with the episode. I thought it did loose a little steam in the last 3-5 minutes, but I'm picking nits here. I really really like how much Michonne's character has grown over this season, and her relationship with Carl may be my favorite one of the show. I also like Rick and Daryl's relationship and I'm glad they are back together. Looking forward to next fall already!
