I found the acting a bit wooden and the dialogs stiff, almost theatrical. But it did keep my interest and it gets better in the second episode. I’m in.
Well, OK, I'm a sucker for these kind of shows. I agree with you all, there was a lot of stupid shit going on. But I didn't care and I liked the show very much. I sincerely hope there will be a season 2.
Love the show too, mostly because of the 3 Lowe boys. Lots of love between them. It's heartwarming. And what a great choice of song for the show's theme. Fits perfectly. This song has a sunny road trip vibe, for me anyway.
First BBAD of the season was quite interesting (for someone who cannot get the feeds). Alex told Jillian that Christmas used to be an addict, big time. Are we supposed to already know that? I didn't watch any of the presentations and interviews.
Troy needs a mommy. We learned from Jeremiah that Troy's mom was an alcoholic and resented him for taking care of her till she died. I think that's what Madison is aiming for. Placing that napkin on his leg was a very mommy like gesture.
I did like the different city settings. Evil is everywhere!
And on a shallow note, the only one of the original cast who hasn't lost an ounce of his good looks is Michael Horse (Hawk).
