  1. I don't agree with their stance that the grandfather that dropped his granddaughter from the cruise ship should be left alone to grieve. Yes, they have been through enough. But, what's the difference between a parent that leaves their child(ren) in a hot car to die? Both are tragic accidents but one needs to be held accountable for their actions. I remember when I first started hearing about children accidentally being left in hot cars to die. Parent was not prosecuted. But now so many are happening there is no choice but to prosecute. I also don't feel the cruise ship is responsible. Grandpa picked that child up and put her on the rail and if the window was similar to the one that they showed on the show, you could tell that the window was open. The child never would have fallen out of the window if grandpa had not picked her up and put her on the rail, she couldn't reach it. No negligence on the cruise ships part IMO.
  2. Is it possible that he is sick again and doesn't want them to see him sick? That whole conversation with Billy about being sick had me curious as what was exactly wrong that he stopped playing football for it.
  3. It did always bug me that he low balled them so much. He needed them. He depended on Sharona and then Natalie. But wouldn't pay them what he should. They were single parents. They need and deserved decent and regular pay. Sharona was driving him around in a car that kept breaking down. He made her buy 3 lamps for him because even though he had money he didn't have any on him. I recently watched an episode where he knowingly gave Natalie a paycheck that he knew would bounce. So now poor Natalie has returned check fees on top of no paycheck. Then there was the episode where she had to beg him to pay her and convince him to give up paying rent on an empty and unused office that was Trudy's. That was in Mr. Monk vs the Cobra. Anyone other than these two ladies would have quit.
  4. Sigh. They have already managed to have me tuning out. Who thought that watching Brooke fight with Shauna over the grease bomb would make compelling television? Taking another B&B break.
  5. Helen was hot for Jason Momoa. She's cool in my book, and has excellent taste in hotness.
  6. I got the show, but The Good Doctor was prempted in my area for Monday night football on ABC. We don't get that in my area until Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at 1: 06 am.
  7. I'm glad Jordan finally faced consequences from his mom. His behavior was atrocious. I hope that someone can get through to Layla, she really needs help. Both her and Spencer need to continue to be honest with one another. They keep too many secrets from one another. Welcome back Billy, the team was just out of control, with the exception of Asher. I love Olivia. She's there for everyone.
  8. Renewed! Yes, Looking forward to it.
  9. Why does this show persist in thinking that the majority care at all what is going on with Ozzy? I don't give a damn and feel they waste time with these Ozzy updates. The same when they go on and on about Sharon's in the tabloids find out why. I don't care!
  10. I will pass on Wednesday. I will watch hot topics and then delete. I can no longer watch any interview with smarmy Shemar Moore.

    S01.E01: Pilot

Well, when the ex left her house it was in the Mercedes-Benz parked in her driveway. So whatever he does for a living, he's well paid. I'll be back. I liked the lead and her family.
  12. Let's hope that Sharon's gone for the week!
  13. When Marie said she went on The Talk Facebook page. Said people were calling her fake and plastic. Eve basically said don't worry about it, those people are haters and trolls. Now, I don't go out of my way to go on any official page to disparage someones looks, but if I have an opinion on someones looks, I'm going to say it! Does not mean I'm a hater or troll. It's just my opinion that I am allowed to have. I try not to be hateful, but seriously. Marie does act a little fake and looks a little fake. It's also a known fact that Sheryl has huge gums. So comparisons to a horse may be legit, if a tad mean.
  14. I'm pretty sure they were referring to your teeth Sheryl, not the ponytail. Marie's heels are beyond ridiculous. I guess I'm a hater and a troll Eve.
  15. Why was there a line going up Sharon's head near the forehead and hairline? It was on the left side of her head as she was talking about her face. I also thought that her foundation was totally off. Her face did not match her neck. lol Same with Marie. Good first episode of the season. I didn't find Marie too bad. I enjoyed Sheryl's stint as a waitress, though the eating off of people's plates was a bit too much. They showed her "eating" off of multiple plates and I just felt the joke went too far. The real waitress looks great and I hope she finishes school. I enjoyed Kobe as a guest too. That video of him and Chris Rock was hysterical. lol
  16. So I guess the theme for opening week is giving someone the day off and a host taking there place/giving them a makeover/special day. Monday Sheryl gives a longtime waitress a much needed day off. Tuesday Sharon gives an overworked mother a break and babysits her young daughters.(I can't wait to see this one!) Wednesday Eve gives a devoted single mother a makeover with her glam squad. Thursday Carrie Ann gives a devoted senior living community director a much deserved day off and takes over her duties for the day. Friday Marie gives a worthy viewer a special day. I am not liking Eve and Marie's. They are not working the other person's job or taking care of their children. Basically those two seem to be letting someone else do the work IMO.
  17. No explanation at all. I guess Jack was a pet, but not a pet. They literally left the house in the big woods in winter, Jack's short legs were buried in the snow. They drove off shouting "come on Jack" and he ran behind the wagon. Every scene thereafter was of Jack running alongside the wagon or behind it. Then came the crossing the rushing river scene. I don't see any reason that Jack couldn't have ridden in the back of the wagon with the girls some of the time! Especially crossing that river.
  18. Emily for sure pulled the shorter end of that stick (and her insane erratic behavior for the next year after that didn't help her case one bit), but I do remember Paul taking the lumps from his family and no one that I can recall other than Meg "Most Basic Bitch in Oakdale" Synder pretending that he was some great damn hero for "protecting" his sister from Craig. At least, not from my vantage point. Hell, Paul wasn't even the one who switched the babies, either....that was Craig, who fucked off into the sunset pretty early into the story and Paul, like Thomas, just glomped onto opportunity to play buttinsky. Ain't that the truth!
  19. I love this episode! Everything about it is gold. Monk mailing his trash to Kroger. Monk's wild theory about Alice Cooper and the chair. Hilarious. Monk's plan to clean up the city was brilliantly funny. One truck at a time. Loved his whole speech about driving the trucks into the Bay. lol
  20. I would respect this show more if they wrote what we saw. Instead they want to act like we are too stupid to remember what we saw. Hope was afraid of Thomas. I don't care if he was apologizing. She ran from the house to get away from him. He followed and was grabbing her arms against her will. That's what Brooke saw. She got between them and Thomas had his hands on Brooke and she pushed him away. Not her fault he never learned not to put his hands on others from his delusional parents.
  21. Watching the pilot again. Poor Jack. First that dog had to run along/behind the wagon in the snow. Then during that river crossing, Laura asked if Jack could ride in the wagon. Pa said he'd be alright. Poor Jack thought twice, then gamely jumped into the water. If the horses could barely make it across, I don't know why Pa wasn't more concerned about poor Jack!
  22. I detested this episode! I didn't find it funny. I love Laurie Metcalf, but Cora was just gross. I have not doubt that she would have continued to pretend that she was "Jerry's" wife if they had not found Monk. I have no idea why no one thought to put this woman in jail. This was not contract negotiations. She was fired because she wanted more money. Word was that Bitty, Ted Levine and Jason Gray Stanford wanted a pay increase. I guess the other two caved and Bitty was fired as an example. I think it was a bad move on their part. You are only in the second season of a hit show. You can and will be replaced. Welcome Natalie.
  23. Alas, next week is not the finale. They did the old only one episode left until the finale trick. 2 episodes left. My guide is showing one on the 5th and the finale is on the 13th, which is a Friday, so weird. Okay maybe not weird, debates are on that Thursday hence the move to Friday.
  24. I really wanted to like this but, sadly I do not. I came back for Shannen and they did not have enough of her in the first 3 episodes. She had more to do in this episode but I'm still not getting past, the I don't like the show bit. So I'm going to bow out now rather than watch the final 2 episodes.
