I think he stays on the show for a few reasons. One is simple facts - he's been on the show since day one. He is the father to those children. And both of them seem extremely committed to co-parenting successfully, which puts Scott as a regular in their daily lives. I think he stays on the show because Scott has changed drastically since the earlier seasons and is the only likeable person left. His candor, his humor, and yes, his vulnerability, make him likeable. I think he stays on the show because he's no dummy. And I think he stays on the show - and in the Kardashian life - because he loves Kourtney, and I think Kourtney loves him. I know these two were SO toxic together, but honestly I keep rooting for them to get back together. I LIKE them together, especially now.

Maybe she and Travis had some kind of ceremony but didn't make the marriage legal - and probably to keep the finances completely separate and relatively untouchable should the relationship go south.

So the healer soulmate story was Romeo and Juliet, right? 😂😂😂 I also fully believe that all the stuff about Khloe and Tristan with the blind palm reader was filmed at a studio in LA after the Jordyn scandal broke to help Khloe not look like a total idiot for the first part of the season. It looked like they were going to a Dr's office in Brentwood as opposed to a palm reading in Bali. Throw on a few robes, pull the curtains shut and put some plants around and Voila! Insta-Bali! And speaking of Khloe, why is she channeling Daryl Hannah from her Splash days?

I *think* that technically any case could be appealed all the way up to the highest court of the land. But the Supreme Court doesn't hear everything, obviously, and the cases that it does hear, "timing and political climate" usually play a role in how and when they decide to hear a case. Given everything going on with immigration these days, could you IMAGINE if Juicy Joe turned into the Roe v. Wade or Brown v. Board of Ed, in immigration rights?

Legal question because I decided in college not to take the LSAT and pursue a legal career. Wouldn't a stay be granted because they are appealing again? I mean, he would be kept in ICE custody but not deported until this final appeal was decided?

I'm going to guess that the Giudice girls were given the "it is better to accept the plea than go to trial even though we are innocent/made a mistake" schtick.

I suspect they never admitted guilt to their daughters. I bet they presented it as accusations, but better to accept the plea. Hence the "small crimes", "1 little thing wrong," etc. The giudice girls heads are in the sand because they put them there.

You know what I find interesting about this whole lawyer business? Whether we think it is ridiculous or not, it is another Kardashian setting themselves up for life after the show. Kendall has a modeling and fashion careerm Kylie has her makeup business. Kourtney has a lifestyle brand through Poosh. Kim now has her interest in legal work and prison reform. And yes, all of those things can fade but they can open pathways to other careers. The Kardashians are no dummies. The ratings are on the decline, the original sisters are getting older,and they are still 13 years away from those initial playboy discussions for the next generation so...they will need something else kn the meantime. Each has started to branch in different direction. I bet in the next few years we hear about the show cancelling and the sisters pursuing different interests which can all trace back to where they each are now. That just leaves Khloe and her Instagram musings lol.

Happy Birthday Kourtney. Welcome to the decade when you finally realize (if you haven't already) that all of this shit doesn't matter. So go ahead and break open a bag of doritos, throw on a non- designer tshirt, binge watch the golden girls like the rest of us, and feel no guilt whatsoever. Your time has come. So I'm watching season 4, episode 1, Khloe's wedding to Lamar. And good grief, everything about everybody was so completely different. You could believe the show was "real." People had full conversations instead of just saying "yeah" back and forth 50 times, and as vapid as they were the girls had personalities, there were heartfelt moments (Bruce's speech at the rehearsal dinner). And everybody looked good. Including Khloe before all of her surgery. And my favorite part? Khloe being all horrified at a $700 place setting...the good old days! 😂

How are those students regarded in the law school admissions process - are they taken seriously, with the same considerations as a student with an undergrad?

I actually think that when we do get a glimpse of them when they aren't "on," they seem quite relaxed and comfortable with each other - a couple who has been together for a while. Oh, I don't disagree. It will eventually come apart. I just think it will be much much later than people assume.

Ha, you are right that makes no sense. I meant that they purposefully choose to not smile, not be affectionate, etc, in public making them seem cold, distant and miserable to us.

I don't know. We've been saying since day 1 they don't seem that into each other and won't last. And here we are 3 kids later, another on the way, and Kanye now filming for the show. I'm not sure I see these two splitting any time soon and I think their separate lives works for them. I just don't think they have a typical marriage - there is definitely a business component to it, plus Kanye and Kim view being in public together as some platform to be cold and distant. Hence why they seem miles away. But I kind of think they are in this for a while.

I think Scott has made out the best of everybody in this family. He is somehow the only original Male still on the payroll. He gets to vacation with the family, spend holidays with them, and reap the benefits of their name. And then he gets to boink Sophia. And somehow through all the b.s. he has gone from skeevy to the most likeable character on the show because he knows this is all b.s. His quips and digs are fantastic.

Who, us or Caroline? I will take Caroline Manzo over Danielle any day of the week.

Kids aren't born insecure. A baby doesn't need affirmations. KHLOE needs affirmations. She needs to stop projecting her issues on to that adorable, happy baby, and just be mom. That's it. Not sexy mom. Not Kardashian mom. Not hot mom. Not trendy mom. Not fitness mom. Not angel mom. She needs to just be mom. Fuck, true isn't even 1.

I'm sure Kourtney has a staff around Poosh to curate content and she approves it. And I also assume that when you're a celeb that's how these things go. Her not sitting down and writing it herself doesn't really bother me, or strike me as disingenuous, especially if the writers are crediting to "what Kourt likes" as opposed to "what I like." It doesn't strike me as anything sneaky just because it's not written by Kourtney specifically. It's not intended to be a personal blog. I do find the use of Kourt interesting. Especially since I don't think I've heard her called that since the early seasons. I wonder if it's an attempt to establish her "lifestyle online presence" without the Kardashian name being so evident. Her online version of not inviting family to the VS fashion show. But if does feel weird. Kind of like when Tim Cruise kept calling Katie, Kate. I can see her enjoying the project as well. It really does seem right up her alley - high end clean living items du jour that she thinks are accessible to her fans, who clearly she doesn't know much about.

I think the timing of when she rose in fame is important. She looked different from the Hollywood trend at the time - entertainment reporters have already said she stood out because of her looks. I think the show offered a bit of comic relief & fresh air, when a lot of young Hollywood had taken a bit of a negative turn (ex. Britney's meltdown, Paris & Nicole running roughshod over everybody they met, the Hills drama of Lauren, Heidi & Spencer, etc). And I think they were very smart about media trends and stayed ahead of the game to stay relevant. And you had a very shrewd and savvy business woman in charge. The sex tape didn't hurt, but I think it simply accelerated the inevitable.
