  1. Don't know about his undergrad, but he went to St. George medical school in Grenada and completed fellowships at the University of Chicago and Yale. https://www.carepointhealth.org/doctor/david-principe/
  2. I don't get all the fuss about Frankie going to prom. In June 2019 Frankie was 20 years old and had just finished his sophomore year at Sacred Heart. Gia was 18 years old, graduating high school and was soon starting her freshman year at Rutgers University. We know that she thinks he is hot, he thinks she is pretty and that they have hung out socially before. Frankie turned 21 in October 2019. Gia turned 19 in January 2020. There is a 2 year 4 month age difference between the two of them. Can we please stop acting like Frank is a 37 year old perv escorting Gia to the high school dance? Yup. She's a basic bitch. I've been doing a RHONJ rewatch and I'm early on in season 3. Melissa was just such a better character in season 3. And she looked better too. Perhaps Melissa needs a reminder. Her mantra early on? "Be a lady in the parlour, a cook in the kitchen, and a whore in the bedroom." I've never heard Jen describe herself in such a demeaning way. Just saying. Team Jen on this one.
  3. Party of 3. Gia started crying, i cried, and cried my way right through Teresa telling her how proud of her she was, to Nonno crying when she came down the stairs. I know it seemed over the top, but i don't think it is unusual in northern nj towns. My prom was more years ago than I can count but I can say that yes, this jersey girl got her hair, nails and makeup done, yes, my date arrived and waited for my grand enteance, yes we took a zillion photos, and yes we rode in the limo to a pre-prom party with even more photos with a larger group of friends where all the parents gathered for food and drinks until we left for prom. We had the exact same thing as Gia without the balloons. And I went to a salon for hair and makeup and nails. And this was the norm, not the exception. My big fat jersey prom. I thought Jennifer shining a light on her brother's organization was one of the nicest things I have seen done on this show. Gabby looked so pretty, and her mom is right, she can look to her uncle for personal inspiration. I am a firm believer that the middle school years (and early high school sometimes) leave everybody with scars and are just something you have to get through. It is nice that for all her faults, Jennifer is really thinking of how her daughter can get through this time. These are impressionable years and Gabby will remember that. Shut up, JoeGo. Go Bill. I think the issue with Dolores and David is that Dolores needed a storyline and concocted this bizarre story. It feels insincere because probably is insincere. David clearly has no interest in filming, and he and Dolores are probably perfectly content and boring. I think the house rental was in Bay Head and the restaurant was in Brielle. Jenks is just north of Bay Head in Point Pleasant.
  4. I finally just saw this episode. And I have to say, I like the business side of Marge. This isn't Teresa and fabellini or Melissa twerking on her runway, this is a 20 year career, that existed long before the housewives, and you could tell that for Margaret, this was a really important professional milestone. It was really nice to see. And I don't doubt that Margaret made it crystal clear ahead of time that if anybody threw down at her event, there would be hell - and legal fees - to pay. Joe Gorga is a pig. I have to give credit to Bill for walking away. Joe and Melissa are not classy. Nobody wants to be them. They only have a sense of etiquette when it serves them. They will do anything for the cameras and attention. And Bill, the quiet and unassuming plastic surgeon should have punched him in the nose, and then revoked the friends and family discount. And Evan and Joe laughing along with him? Is that considered acceptable? I feel like if anybody in my husbands social circle pulled that, nobody would have been laughing. On the contrary they would immediately be telling the offender to fuck off and apologize. I like Jennifer. I don't know why. She makes me laugh. But she is also unapologetically herself. Same as Teresa. It makes good television. Has Jackie's husband always been that much taller than her? And speaking of Jackie. I like her. She is smart and articulate and I don't think she is a bad hostess (although did anybody else catch her comment about how she isn't as thoughful of a hostess as Margaret when it comes to details and a really great party? Does that not extend to Jennifer?) And don't get me wrong, all families don't come with 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. But, her parents live apart. She developed a severe eating disorder. She and her sister are estranged to the point that they won't be in the same home for holidays. We know that Jackie is pretty controlling and rigid. So yeah, there is something going on there that we aren't getting. Jackie is only showing what she wants to show and it is really evident. I'm kind of hoping that Andy turns the cameras on her heavily next season. Otherwise, why be on the show? Everybody is being very transparent about their lives and let's be real. But the only thing we have learned about Jackie is what she told us in the first few episodes last season, other than the money factor, which really shouldn't be such a surprise because this IS the housewives. Even Evan signing a prenup isn't that shocking. That's just good sense when one comes to the marriage with money. So yeah, maybe she is boring. Or maybe there is much more there and we just need Andy to dig around a bit. Her exchange with her father bothered me a bit. For one, how could her parents not have noticed? In my 20s I went from a size 12 to an 8 and my mother fretted that I was losing too much weight. Jackie went from over 200 pounds to less than a 00? And mom and dad didn't notice???? She hid it? And her comment about her dad being proud or envious because she achieved what he couldn't, and her tone of voice when she said that was kind of bizarre. Like SHE was proud that he was proud of that. It bothered me. I suspect that because her brother had special needs that she didn't get some of the attention she needed growing up, which is not uncommon in scenarios like that. Her father's weight obsession probably didn't help. But it is never as simple as that. Clearly there is much more to Jackie's story than we are getting. Whatever life she was weaving for the show isn't holding up.
  5. Good god Frank Sr. is such a fucking neanderthal. That is all I can say about him. Was anybody besides me really irritated with Melissa this episode? She flipped her jersey shore girl on pretty quickly IMO. If I had been sitting there observing, I would have been just as disgusted by her behavior in the Hamptons as Jennifer. Her yelling at Jennifer "you looking at me?" And "walk away!" was something straight out of seaside. If I were Jackie I would have been MOR.TI.FIED. And her digs at Teresa, and her thinly veiled insults and criticisms, veiled under a carefully measured voice are pretty consistent and I could just not be remembering correctly but I don't see Tre digging at her in the same way this season. Anyway, my point is that Jennifer wasn't the only one being an asshole this episode, no matter how appropriately beige Melissa tries to be. She is not classy, no matter what she says. And honestly, the next time Jen tosses a fucking fork or whatever, just look at her like a 4 year old and move on. She does it for the drama and they give it to her. Ignore it and it will stop, like a kid throwing a tantrum. JoeGo was a good brother this episode. You could see how genuinely comfortable Tre was in that conversation, and that was nice. For those wondering about revisionist history for Tre and Joe, I'm rewatching and Andy asks her in the season 1 reunion and she says they families were always close and her mom warned her to stay away from Joe because he had the bad boy rep. He asks if they were high school sweethearts and she says no, they got together when they started running into each other in clubs. The lesson there? Moms are usually right.
  6. It was also clear that they had fun with it. Both were smiling.
  7. Maybe. But when JLo took the stage I'm ashamed to say "huh, she really does look like Melissa Gorga" (then was rightly horrified).
  8. So I just started watching season 1 again and I'm really surprised by Teresa. She can speak much more clearly and while clearly "spoiled rich girl" she is not nearly as vapid and idiotic as she is now. Part of me wonders if she plays it up a bit? This episode was exhausting. That fight was exhausting. Why fight so much about a birthday party?? Nobody cares! And I have to say this. Just because Melissa is all beige and glossy now, she is still jersey shore trash and that was on display loud and clear this episode. Her "are you looking at me?" and her "take her out of here! Take her away from me, get her away from me" schtick is straight outta Seaside. And her digs at Teresa were unnecessary, tre was literally just sitting there. Jen was being an imbecile this episode but good for her for not backing down on Melissa calling Tre an idiot, and ignorant, and all that and trying to act like she hadn't. I see that Jackie has found her ticket on the "teresa is a strong and admirable woman" express. And frank sr is a neanderthal. And clearly the Joes don't buy that there is nothing with him and dolores either.
  9. It must be really exhausting and expensive trying to keep up a housewives look. Between the fillers and botox and boob jobs and wardrobe, and having to wear 4 inch platforms and 3 layers of makeup at the beach, and have a different hair length each week, good grief. I'd be such a shitty housewife. My makeup routine consists of a bit of sheer foundation and lipgloss, my face is 100% natural because I believe that, in most cases, what you were born with is what compliments your features best (except for some nose jobs if they are wanted, i suppose), and i only wear flip flops down the shore, and if we are out at a nicer restairant, i wear a nicer flip flops. Andy Cohen would hate me. 😁
  10. I can't help but wonder if it is partly because of jennifer's actions/portrayal on the show, especially in season 1, that Gabby has had to endure the end of her friendships and some of the bullying. And perhaps some of those friendships even developed because her mother was cast on the show to begin with, they had built this huge home, etc. Middle school leaves scar everywhere on everyone and middle school girls can be especially vicious. And I bet plenty have watched the show and found plenty of ammo within it.
  11. Poor Coco. I don't think this is QUITE what she had in mind. I just really don't get why she thought she DIDN'T have money. I mean, we've seen the recruitment email. We know the type that Bravo looks for. Don't they pretty much outline that you have to be loaded to be considered? (not sure how Dolores fell through the cracks because I truly don't think she has a high net worth. I don't get why she just assumed she was just kind of standard upper middle class. Because she drives a minivan? She's been to her house, it's not exactly small. Sure it's not as big as the home for the Princess of Paramus, but it's not like she's living in a 2400 square foot colonial on a 6000 square foot lot. Jen is either really fucking stupid (yes) or this is partly producer driven (yes). There were definitely some parents lingering around at Jackie's but I just assumed that was because the cameras were there, or maybe they were just chatting with a friend quickly. My oldest is in 4th and I haven't had a parent stay at a birthday party since 2nd grade, unless I say, "hey, come and hang out with me." Also, I don't think the entertaining thing goes back to old school cultures, vs. "nouveau." I'm so tired of this "old school" idea that Dolores keeps throwing out, like it's an answer for everything. Some people like entertaining. Others don't. Some people like people dropping by unannounced, some don't. It has nothing to do with old school and being different. It's annoying. True. But I don't think Marge was that wrong. Jackie still has some major food issues, that's coming through loud and clear, and the intensity in which she spoke to Margaret about that just shows that - Marge backed right down. When they were fighting in the Hamptons and they showed people in the restaurant starting to look over at all the fuss, did anybody besides me think of Siggy and her "now we have to explain to everybody that we're from Jersey" comment? I go back to what I always said in season 1. These people do NOT represent my beautiful state and I don't know anybody who would throw utinsels, toss a table, or dump a glass of wine on anybody, or pull hair. I do know people who would shove others in a pool. But who wouldn't do that? Why thank you. Another show I watched religiously, over and over and over again.
  12. This is the dumbest argument. 2 twin boys - middle school age? They want bball and pizza. Their friends want bball and pizza. They get bball and pizza. Everybody wins. Boys love party. 1 middle school girl. Birthday parties = social status. Invites matter. The party matters. God forbid the 11 year old girls are bored at the birthday party, then it was a bad party. Combine that with the mommy-wars to outdo each other, and you have Gabbys party. But it isn't ever going to stop the social aggression that exists between girls and women. These are two completely different animals. Stop acting like they are the same. They aren't.
  13. I love the pebbles. I think there were three reasons for it. One had to do with the type of grass that you could grow in certain areas of the jersey shore. I don't think that's the case any longer, as how we treat and care for land has changed, but back in the day, it was pebbles. But there was also an cosmetic factor. It gave a lot of the towns a uniform look. Some of the towns even have rules in terms of what color you can paint your home (varying neutral shades), so you have this very pleasing aesthetic. And third, upkeep. For those who owned the shore homes as vacation property, you lower your overhead by not needing to pay for landscapers to for lawn maintenance on a weekly basis. But yes, running around over those pebbles, plus the sand, brought "beach feet" a whole different level for those who frequented the Jersey shore. Wasn't she showing off new furniture for the house? It looked about as basic and common as you could get, and while she was crediting an expensive "high end" furniture store, you could probably find the exact same styles on wayfair. Considering that furniture is not made to last for the long haul anymore, she's basically throwing her money out the window on that one. Once again. Melissa is vanilla and basic. I truly find nothing unique about her. Is it just me? I could have owned waterfront property for $1 and I missed out on this? Mother F-er.
  14. I think it depends on the question - do you live down the shore or are you going down the shore for the day or for a vacation. If you live down the shore, you can say toms river is down the shore. If you are going down the shore, people are referring to the actual beachfront towns. Is the toms river house a shore house? I would say because it is not the permanent residence, no. But it is still down the shore. It's complex, I know. Context and permanency matters. As for areas that are considered the shore, the furthest north is Sandy Hook, all the way down to Cape May.
  15. I actually think that Jackie is probably the wealthiest of the group. And i dont think she ever presented herself as upper middle class? Tre has gone through the bankruptcy. Dolores doesn't come close. Didn't Margaret declare bankruptcy in the past year or so? Jennifer and Melissa probably clme close but of the husbands Evan is pulling the highest salary heading up a hedgefund. And both came into their marriage with money. And Jackie had taken her trust fund and invested in the Hamptons house and some manhattan apartments. And given that evan is in finance you can confidently say that there are other financial investments somewhere. Unless the Gorgas and Aydins have additional assets like that (and we don't know what Evan might have come to the marriage with), then, yes. The Goldschneiders have the most. They just seem more discreet onscreen than 18-bathroom-jennifer, gold-rolex-melissa and pay-all-cash-nothing-to-see-here-teresa. And as for the houses, the gorga and giudice houses are tacky because they have tacky taste lol. But hamptons beachfront, regardless of which hampton town, is going to have greater value than beach haven west. That's just a fact. But as the shore front towns get more and more expensive, the value of the bayfront regions like beach haven west are just going to appreciate. Especially if you want actual waterfront. I wouldn't turn down any of the three.
  16. So much shade in that lol The Gorga and Giudice shore houses are tacky because they are tacky. But you really can't compare where they are to beachfront hamptons. Even if you were beachfront LBI you probably couldn't quite compare it - or even Stone Harbor or Spring Lake. Hamptons just has the more impressive "brand." That said, people have clear preferences. If you prefer the Hamptons, you are never going to love the Jersey Shore and vice versa. They are completely different animals. I get the impression that this is a forced storyline for Dolores, who has never been particularly interesting, and that David is irritated by the whole thing. He probably agreed to filming because Dolores was getting so much pushback about her partner on the show really being her ex, instead of her current significant other, and he gave in. The guys is a really well-respected high risk OB/GYN and he's forced to film with these nimrods and talk about who pushed who in the pool or whatever. Can you blame the guy? Margaret seemed really sad at the brunch. Between the bankruptcy, the assault by Danielle, the fight with Teresa, and her not really seeing that much of her mother, you can tell that she's just really carrying a lot around emotionally. The sadness and frustration was seeping through big time. I hope that something resolves soon to ease her heart and mind.
  17. Oh, I get the opposite impression, I think there is more wealth there than we have seen. We have barely seen their house, even on her bravo video extra "tour," and we havent seen the property other than the driveway and what looks like part of the front or side yard, rather than the back. And of everybody i know who has a house down the shore or out on the hamptons or fire island, or whereever, all but one, rent it out. Having a property that you use primarily as an investment property is not an indication that you can't afford it. It can just as easily be considered part of your overall portfolio. Real estate does count, and beach front hamptons property, or any hamptons property, simply doesn't exist in that portfolio if you don't have extremely high wealth. I think the Goldschneiders are a bit more cautious about flashing their wealth onscreen. And i also think they are more frugal. Tre has extravagant over the top bday parties for her kids, Jackie is pretty basic, DIY, bball and pizza. Others drive multiple luxery cars. Jackie has a minivan (part by necessity). How they spend their money seems very different - and more private - from the others. We really don't know much about their lifestyle. I suspect that is intentional.
  18. That was the best part of the entire show. I busted up laughing. Then I went digging into my pantry to see if we had any leftover sprinkle cookies, because I flove sprinkle cookies. We didn't. And so I was sad. I think Melissa and her ego legitimately thought that just by nature of being on RHONJ, it would launch some other type of career for her in fashion or entertainment because she was THAT special. I honestly don't think she realized that she would have to work for it. Hence her ambitions to be a 37 year old pop princess. So I think she figured out that she did have to put in legitimate effort, and her dreams of stardom weren't going to be on the stage simply because she was no longer super young and cute by Hollywood standards. And I think it's great that she noted that her daughter was watching. But let's be real. Show her being a boss at the fashion show, skip the twerking, and also show her balancing the books, doing orders and inventory, etc. The fashion show is a once a year event. Show her the mundane as well. Antonia will thank you for it later. However, my biggest problem with Melissa, and some of the other housewives for that matter, is that the Melissa's of the world are a dime a dozen in northern NJ. Extensions? Check. Faux tan? check. A closet full of designer athleisure-wear, designer jeans, and designer bodycon dresses? check. A career in the fashion industry either as a boutique owner, personal stylist (if you are tied to bloomingdales or nordstrom, even better), or self-declared "influencer?" check. The need to be the center of attention at any event or party so everybody will wish they were as "cool" as you? Check. Go to any school fundraiser or soccer field and you will see 40 Melissas milling about. She's not extraordinary or unique, really. She's pretty basic. I liked Jackie a lot this episode. Her talk with her kids was on point and good for her for recognizing that her kids should never have heard that conversation. That was something that bothered me about that whole discussion, not that her dad said what he said, but that both he and JAckie had that conversation in front of an 8 year old girl and boy. So I'm glad she said that. I also thought her going through her sons folder was ridiculously relatable. I did the same exact thing before watching the show and couldn't figure out what was homework, what was junk, what could be tossed, what needed to be saved. Kids school folders are insane. Is anybody besides me more than a little bothered by what Gia's interpretation of her mothers current relationship with Joe and how she thinks it SHOULD be? You can take her "when he lashes out, he's fighting for his life, just back down and let him be an asshole to you" remark and stretch that a lot of ways as she grows up and has relationships of her own. "Oh, he had a really bad day at work today, honey, he didn't mean to yell at me that way." "Oh, he doesn't feel well, I shouldn't have upset him like that." See where I'm going with that? I think Gia grew up with Joe talking like that to her mom throughout her life, and unfortunately what she thinks is acceptable behavior and what she thinks a woman should tolerate is just outright wrong. I don't have much to say about Marge and Danielle. The women were wrong for mocking danielle and bringing the sex tape into it. Danielle was deliberately and psychotically being overly aggressive with Marge without physically laying a hand on her (getting in her face like that). Marge shouldn't have thrown the water. But ultimately Danielle assaulted MArge and that is never okay, no matter the events leading up to the attack. Teresa and her whole "don't poke a sleeping bear" mentality doesn't make any sense. Why not just don't be friends with a psychotic bear to begin with? I think Melissa played a role in why Tre and Danielle are no longer friends and I'm here for it. And I tear up when I see Milania and Audriana running to their father in the promo. I'm not entirely cold hearted.
  19. That thing was gross. And it was boiled lamb? That is just disgusting. I am rewatching now and it sounds like it is something the kids do every year, not that they had never seen it before. The dolmas thing made no sense unless the family just doesn't have homemade grape leaves at the table on a regular basis. They are very time intensive to make, so it could be that they have them just once or twice a year on holidays. So maybe that is why she was "introducing" them. Or then again, maybe it was just for the sake of the cameras. Gabby looks just like her grandmother but with her fathers darker skin tone.
  20. Agreed, she brings it up. But that does not make it okay for the others to mock and degrade her because of her sex life, no matter what she puts out there herself.
  21. I can't believe that I'm going to defend Danielle on this, however, I literally get sick to my stomach any time the housewives/show uses Danielle's past and current sexual experiences as an excuse to shame her. Every single time the comments are absolutely vile. From the men sitting around the table watching her porn, to "Evan saw it and didn't want to have sex for 2 weeks!" to "her vagina has claws" -- all the way back to season 1, it is NOT okay and it will NEVER be okay and in this day an age, after all we've learned from this "Me Too" the fact that a woman like Danielle is somehow exempt from what's now considered acceptable about how we talk about women simply because she is so unlikable is just an indication of how far we haven't come. Jackie is a highly educated woman. Melissa is now a business-woman. Marge is a successful entrepreneur - they, especially, should KNOW better than to use sex as banter and/or ammunition to attack another woman. And if I were married to one of those men who sat around watching the porn of a woman they know, laughing at it, I'd rip him a new one for participating in such an action. It is not okay. Hate her all you want for the problems she causes. Leave sex out of it. And I don't understand why Marge lets her get under her skin for the cheating statements that she makes. Margaret is always very forthright about the fact that she had an affair and remarried that man. So when Danielle says "you slept with a married man!" to rile her up, the best thing she could do is NOT react to it. Marge's storyline right now is Jackie's storyline of Season 2 where she was on a mission to bring down Danielle. JackieG doesn't have a storyline because I suspect her family is 1) too normal (boring for reality tv) or 2) she's really guarded on what she allows to be filmed and holds back probably without even realizing it or 3) some combination of the two. Jennifer is reality tv gold. Tre has all of her drama going on. And Melissa is boring. We all know she isn't having another baby.
  22. I think a bunch have contact outside of filming. Margaret and Jackie were friends prior to the show. And she introduced Jackie and Melissa off camera, and I think that's a legitimate off camera friendship as well. And I do think that Jackie and Jennifer are somewhat friendly, or at least have tried to be. Didnt the season start with pictures of their girls on a playdate together, outside of filming? Melissa probably sees Dolores via Teresa although without that common denominator there would be no friendship there. And Jennifer and Tre seem to be friendly off camera as well. As for everybody standing around while the fight unfolds, doing nothing, I just kind of assume, that from a liability standpoint, and based on lessons learned from past filming, that if you agree to your place of business being used as a filming location, that you agree to stay out of any fray that might transpire? The women are no doubt insured. The locations is insured. Bob smith, boutique owner and Sally Sample champagne girl? Probably not covered.
  23. I know several women who don't like oral. However Melissa and her "you can't neglect the kitty cat" comment cracked me up. I don't understand why these women engage with Danielle anymore. Just refuse to film with her. Simple as that. It can't be the the Tre and Danielle show. And as for Jennifer and Jackie, you have no history with this woman, keep your mouth shut and your distance great. There is no reason beyond being in the same room for filming to engage with her. As for the little gossip circle in the store. Save that shit for elsewhere. It was legitimately bitchy, and I can't blame Tre for being annoyed. And i can't blame Danielle for being upset. However... Danielle's brand of upset is so above and beyond the normal levels of upset that she is fucking scary. It is like she has been a caged abused pitbull and it is only a manner of time before she outright mauls somebody. I sadly wouldn't be surprised if she pulls a knife on somebody one of these days, that's how fucking damaged and insane I think she is. Margaret would get a lot more mileage if she just fucking ignored her. Stop poking the fucking pitbull. I'm getting scared to watch her. LOL to the customers and staff tiptoeing to a safe corner in the store.
  24. These kids are teens, preteens and tweens. Gia was a senior in high school when this filmed. 17/18 years old. She is not yet psychologically capable to rationalize and logically consider what has happened with her family for the last 5-8 years (keep in mind the stress set in well before the jail time, we saw it play out on the show). In no way do I expect her, or or the younger girls to react to this the way an outside adult does. Nor do I think that just because both parents are unsympathetic does that mean that these children are unsympathetic. And they ARE children. Gia is no more obnoxious or know-it-all-esque than my next door neighbor who is her same age, the difference is the parental response. Just because a parent hasn't died or they aren't poor or whatever doesn't mean you can't be sympathetic to them. We don't have to rank worthiness of sympathy.
