  1. In that Daily Caller article, is the photo of Sherri in the dentist's chair recent? Who does that?? Or, was it in connection with this: I wasn't aware of that Oral B campaign Sherri did. It must have been after I stopped watching the show. I only watched the first day of the season in September of 2011 and then deleted it from my DVR timers. From the HuffPo article: WTH? How do you talk while you brush your teeth?? First of all, I can't stand being around anyone taking care of personal hygiene and grooming. If my husband brushes his teeth with the electric toothbrush with the bathroom door open while I'm in the bedroom, I ask him to shut the door. Occasionally, he'll walk out of the bathroom and start trying to talk to me and I laughingly scream something to the effect of, "OMG can't you wait and tell me in two freaking minutes when you're done?" We have a huge bathroom with two sinks and a ton of space in between, but I like to be in there alone. But, hey what do I know? Sherri says you can bond with your husband if you talk while brushing your teeth together. Silly me, after over 15 years of marriage, I didn't know that. Speaking of marriage, she has some interesting quotes in the HuffPo article. It's from October 2011, just three months after she married Sal. Among several goodies, there's this: Considering it appeared that she very abruptly ended the marriage after just two and a half years, (whaaat? no Christian couples counseling?), it didn't seem like she was very willing to work through difficulties. It's a shame she put her son through that roller coaster, not to mention the new baby that she was determined to have.
  2. ^ I didn't realize the show isn't on next Sunday. ETA: I just read the article and LOL'd at the tweets.
  3. Yeah, I worded that wrong. I figured the producers wanted him to explain it to his wife for benefit of the viewers. As you said, the viewers know a lot more than this idiot. It was nice not seeing him at all in the last episode, and Amber only having a small part. I dread them being in next week's episode, especially if he's playing lawyer. Tiny boy really has issues. ETA: I just learned in the thread for last week's episode that the show isn't on this Sunday. It's going to kill little Jimmy not to be getting so much Twitter attention for a week. I'm sure he will think of some stunt to keep it going. Too bad his mortgage business is clearly very slow at the moment, lol.
  4. A few months ago, after reading about an episode of HHI here, I checked the person's blog which someone here linked to. I can't remember what episode it was, but I starting browsing around on old posts on her blog and I saw a comment by an HHI producer telling her they'd like to talk to her about possibly being on the show.
  5. That was for Episode 4 on August 3rd. I just checked that site and ratings went back up for Episode 5, and then dipped back down for Episode 6. No news yet for this week's episode (ep 7). 6. ^ Ha, little Jimmy the fake lawyer thought he was explaining the plea process to his wife and to the producers? Ha ha ha. This moron has a mental disorder.
  7. BWAHAHAHAHA!! I didn't even see that one coming and I'm laughing my ass off here. As far as the dog, I immediately thought it looked like a Schipperke because my uncle had one years ago and he looked just like that one as a puppy. They're pretty energetic dogs, as far as I know. Smart too.
  8. Oh, thank goodness I wasn't here all afternoon after that bullshit article posted by CattyTiger. You all said it all and saved me so much typing, especially susieq147. I couldn't agree with all of you more! I could pick apart each and every sentence of that article, but I'll just add something that hasn't been mentioned here yet: Such, such bullshit!! How much did that stand-up gig in the Bahamas pay? She did it while still employed by The View (for big bucks), so don't freaking act like a poor single mom of a special needs child who has to take a crappy, undesirable, inconvenient job because she very much needs the money! I hate when she does that! I think she was out in LA for a TV show. She posted some more on Instagram and on Twitter: She's really working that poor, hard-working single mom angle, isn't she? It's so fucking insulting that she acts like she desperately needs these small gigs right now to pay the bills when in just the first eight months of this year she probably made more than most mothers will make in decades! And, while I'm at it, I just have to say that I think she is mostly full of shit with all her God and Jesus stuff. I've noticed that whenever I read her fans' replies on Twitter and Instagram most of them mention how God is taking care of her, he has good things in store for her, Jesus, God, blah, blah, blah. I think she throws that religion stuff out there constantly because she knows that it created a fan base for her and they are very loyal as long as they consider her a fellow Christian woman. Just look at the two comments posted on that article CattyTiger posted. That's her delusional fan base!
  9. Sorry, I had to delete a post because I was trying to type with my dog on my lap, lol. It was all messed up and full of typos and I accidentally hit post too soon.
  10. I think it was this article: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/confidential/watch-kelly-ripa-rosie-o-donnell-share-building-article-1.1915286
  11. Okay, thanks. I thought it was me. Yeah, it was obviously a mistake, and was supposed to say "Dina is blue". The Dina "story line" could not be more boring. Her life is a snoozefest, as is her personality. Speaking of boring: Exactly. What's Amber's contribution? She doesn't have much going on in her life, really. Stupid phony family fire drills, the dumb ass commercial for the mortgage co, and of course shit stirring with the twins. On last night's episode, she was completely unnecessary. She never would have gone all the way out to Long Island for Teresa's signing event just because she had never been to one, which is why she claimed to be there. Obviously, Bravo had her go there just so she had something to do and would have a couple of scenes to appear in at the store and at Victoria Gotti's house. Her other scene earlier in the show was totally contrived as well. Showing up to Amber's house under the pretense of wanting to comfort her over her aunt's death due to cancer because Amber had cancer over five years ago? As if that little scene would have occurred without the Bravo show. Such bullcrap. I think not only did the producers call VG in, they also fed her the bullshit story about Rino and Santa. Victoria's been wearing those insanely long and horrible blond/white extensions for years, since at least as far back as her reality show with her sons. She would look so much better with a shoulder length cut and a softer, more normal shade.
  12. Put me in that pure maple syrup category too. We go to the maple syrup festival in one of our county parks every March where you can see the whole process from start to finish by identifying and tapping maple trees, collecting sap, and seeing syrup made over a wood-fired evaporator. They have a blind taste test where you can test the differences between maple syrups (a store bought one made from corn syrup - yuck, a farm produced syrup made from sugar maple trees, and the syrup made from the red maple trees at that county park). Before we leave we visit the farmer who has a table there and we buy syrup, plus usually maple flavored coffee, and maple flavored pancakes (overkill, I know, lol). For dinner tonight Mr. LB made lite kielbasa and sauerkraut. I know some people hate that dish, but I love the way he makes it. He sautées an onion in olive oil in the cast iron pan. Then he slices the kielbasa on the bias and adds that to the pan to brown it. Then, he adds the sauerkraut and kind of browns it a bit. You have to use the sauerkraut in the bag. It's a million times better than canned sauerkraut, which I'd never use again. He had his on a roll, I had my plain, and we also had mashed potatoes and a salad. The kid would never eat that stuff, so he had leftover pasta.
  13. Rick Kitchen, the pot roast came out pretty good. Mr. LB loved it and said it reminded him of his mom's! I did a tiny bit of tweaking to the recipe: I'm not all that crazy about A1 to begin with and after I read the reviews to the recipe and saw some people thought the A1 was overpowering, I cut it back considerably and added some beef broth instead. I think the balance worked well for us. Also, the recipe called for Onion-Mushroom soup mix and I couldn't find that. So, I used Lipton's Beefy Onion soup mix and in the last hour of cooking I threw some quartered large mushrooms into the slow cooker, which I had planned on doing anyway. It came out really good. Plus, I rarely add salt to to my plate, but I do think the dish needed a bit of salt. Next time, I'll salt and pepper the roast before cooking. Also, this: mansonlamps, I went against my better judgment and skipped that part. I figured I'd just cook it as the recipe said to the first time I made it. However, next time I plan to saute some garlic in olive oil and brown the roast in that first, (in addition to salt and pepper, I think the dish could use some garlic).
  14. Did you see in last night's episode, the preview for next week is about when Tre and Joe were making the plea deals? I LOL'd at the part where wanna-be attorney Tiny Jim was explaining to Amber that Tre and Joe had to enter separate pleas and Amber looked so upset and like she was crying or trying not to cry. Give me a break, Ambah, you phony POS.
  15. Nice find, BiancaS What bullcrap product placement, for a useless contraption: With a $200 discount, I had to ask WTH does it cost?? http://shop.lighthealthresearch.com/ $1,799!!!
  16. In the thread for episode 4, I posted: That is an exact quote from Jim which I typed as I watched it on my DVR. So, Amber, STOP saying your husband is an attorney. Even he says he is not, even though he only said that because he was on camera. Rino and the others thought he was an attorney because Tiny Jimmy has probably been telling them all that for years. He is nothing but a slimy salesman, a wanna-be attorney, and a bullshitting asshole! ETA: Jim is not a member of the bar of NJ. His LinkedIn claims that he graduated Seton Hall law school, (no year mentioned). I find it extremely hard to believe that he would go through three years of law school and pass the bar but not get admitted. Instead, he went into pharmaceutical sales for a few companies. Since Jimmy loves trying to prove himself, could someone on Twitter please challenge him to prove it by posting a pic of his bar results?
  17. That's so weird! I started the thread earlier today and I thought I had the title correct. But, I came back to this thread as I was about to watch the episode on my DVR and the episode title (DISH satellite) says "DNA". I thought that was odd and wondered how I messed it up and put "Dina". But, based on the description, "Dina" sounds correct. Okay, please ignore my previous post then. Dish has the title messed up. (No, I am not drinking, lol)
  18. I haven't watched the episode yet, but I just have to say that I think I made a mistake when I titled this thread. I just noticed it now. The episode is entitled, "Roses are Red, DNA is Blue", not "...Dina is Blue". Ha ha, Freudian slip? Sorry!
  19. LOL, I kind of figured that was the case but I was afraid to say so. I Googled my ass off just a day ago looking for the length of her "limited run" and found no mention of the end date anywhere (read a bunch of articles, checked the websites, etc.), just the September 9th debut. I thought it was odd because some fans might want to buy tickets only for when she's still there performing. It's even more strange that you called and they won't tell you. What if you said you wanted tickets for October 10th but you want to make sure she's still there? I can't believe they won't tell people what dates she's there.
  20. After jet setting around Europe all summer, she's back in NYC. She's supposed to debut in the play in London on September 24th, so when does she start rehearsals? LiLo’s Ice Bucket Challenge fail
  21. marny, I read that somewhere also. So typical for this show! ETA: I think it was this article: http://www.eonline.com/news/568044/rosie-o-donnell-didn-t-want-to-upset-whoopi-goldberg-during-the-view-chemistry-test-plus-front-runners-revealed
  22. ^ Yuck. Between reading the Wikipedia entry last night and this blog now, I was thinking that between the Provel cheese, the very thin cracker like crust, and the way it's cut into squares or rectangles, I wouldn't even call this pizza (sorry St. Louis!). As that blog says:
  23. harrie, that's Mr. LB's favorite dish. We never make it at home though. I'm going to get the slow cooker going soon with the Slow Cooker Pot Roast that Rick Kitchen recommended back on Page 2 of this thread.
  24. Cheddar on pizza? Never heard of that and don't think I'd like it. Pizza needs mozzarella. Good, stringy mozzarella.
