From CNN Premieres Sunday Jan 16 at 9pm ETA: I missed it the first time around, but the episodes premiere back to back for two weeks, meaning Episodes 1 and 2 Jan 16, episodes 3 and 4 Jan 23

The extra hour was a special premiere of AMC+'s Firebite series. The 3 or 4 minutes extra in the actual episode was more BTS cast comments. Neither episode showed the Spring special teaser.

Overnights were 3.21 million viewers and 6th for the night, down from the 2021 special’s 4.69 million; first was The Tourist premiere at 4.59 million. Overall viewing was down from last year

I did finally find the special on AMC+. It wasn’t under Series 13 but under its own grouping, which I found by searching under Series->New episodes

Did anyone in the US get to see the special via AMC+ (during the 2pm ET broadcast)? I kept checking it while I was watching via BBC America and it never appeared on there, so I ended up watching the whole thing via BBC America in real time and of course had to sit through the ads

The second special, which will be seen in the Spring, is titled "Legend of the Sea Devils" Synopsis: Legend of the Sea Devils finds the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Dan (John Bishop) in 19th century China, where a small coastal village is under threat – from both the fearsome pirate queen Madame Ching (Crystal Yu) and a monstrous alien force which she unwittingly unleashes. Will the Doctor, Yaz and Dan emerge from this swashbuckling battle with the Sea Devils to save the planet? This was a lot of fun. I was entertained and it was pretty funny, especially some of the Dalek lines And Yaz has basically said out loud to Dan that she "likes likes" the Doctor and Dan has said out loud to the Doctor that Yaz "likes likes" her

I know, right?! This is the first time in months that a big reveal that’s been in the making for a long time didn’t sputter and go lame almost immediately. I guess it’s not fully done yet so there’s still time, but so far the reveal that Sonny and Nina were in love in NF has been a bombshell

I liked this especially the second hour. The chair given to Elena that Mr. Rourke used was a sweet moment

Mostly enjoyed it as usual. I never know every single artist but they usually make it an interesting show and they did well this year. Loved the Go-Gos, though Drew Barrymore was way overloud in her intro but she was clearly overwhelmed and excited
