It seems clear to me that Nancy is fooling herself or trying to fool viewers when she says the bad stuff was not part of her business and the business did a lot of good. If you convince people that abuse is something made up or you are the cause of your problems and to tamp down on your fear intuition, it’s ripe for abuse and allows groups like NXIVM to take advantage of you and suck you in

Yeah, I did see it on the Doctor Who Twitter feed afterwards. Strange that BBC America didn’t show it I started to watch the special via BBC America and then switched to streaming via AMC+ when the special became available about 20 minutes in (time includes BBCA’s commercials naturally)

I really enjoyed this though there was a lot going on and I had trouble understanding some pieces. Even though I haven’t watched Classic Who, I knew who Tegan and Ace were and I enjoyed watching them here. I also enjoyed their interaction with their Doctors and 13’s interaction with some of the older Doctors in that waiting area. Jodie was great as was Mandip, especially in the scene where the Doctor started glowing and they realized she was going to regenerate. Though I wanted to see a kiss between the Doctor and Yaz and some time together as a couple, it was clear they cared about each other. I wish Yaz had given a clear reason why she left instead of waiting for the new Doctor The regeneration scene was beautiful, especially with the 13th Doctor’s theme playing. I wish we had seen a bit of Ncuti in there before we got David. BBC America didn’t show the short 2023 trailer, at least for me. Did anyone else get it in the US. Jodie was my first and favorite Doctor and this has been my favorite era so far and I will really miss her and this era

Good info in the article. To sum up, David is the 14th Doctor, Ncuti the 15th, 3 60th anniversary specials will be broadcast in November 2023 and Ncuti will apparently debut his first season over the Christmas holidays in 2023

Just to note, a recent HBO promo video on their coming lineup indicated the next season will premiere next year (2023) (at about 1:25)

And I didn’t create it the day of because I was behind on watching several shows and I didn’t manage to watch this until now

After some checking, it appears only past seasons are on AMC+; I'll have to see if the Roku Channel has the current season. After some further checking, it looks like the IFC website via my desktop computer will let me have access to the current episodes as a cable customer

Unfortunately I missed the 2 part premiere because of an issue with the channel that appears to be fixed now. I will try to catch the episodes at some point on AMC+

I thought the fight was funny and was pretty spot on in the dynamic between the brothers. The love that Denise and Sara had for Conner's house compared to their own was pretty hilarious as was the way their child reacted by locking them out so she could enjoy her friends in peace. Weird though that the friends reacted positively to learning she was poor

I kind of suspected from the beginning that the husband is hiding something about the brother, like the guy took off or is dead. I suspect they want it to be a mystery rather than it being a casting problem

Glad to see it get a full season. I'm liking it so far and the ratings are decent. The ratings for all 3 CBS shows on Friday are remarkably steady and in near lockstep with each other

I'm still liking this though obviously Todd and Margaret are not perfect characters There is definitely something up with the third sibling given his spouse shows up at family get-togethers while the brother does not

I'm liking this too and most of the regular characters, though not all. I'm glad it's getting a full season

Halstead and Vanessa could have been in so much trouble; I’m a little surprised the board let it go. And April’s patient turned out to be AWOL, putting Ethan in an awkward position
